Convenient to Don Mueang Airport”
European Place is perfect for a transit hotel close to Don Mueang Airport. Large, clean rooms and friendly staff, most of whom speak English. The property has no restaurant of any kind but there are a few neighborhood restaurants just down the street - the best is Yard House, a very western-style brew pub. Not much English in the rest of the neighborhood.

Hotel w big rooms in residential area”
The European Place is not easily found. However, since I got this tip (that it's not easily found) from previous traveler posts, I got the operator of the place to talk to the taxi driver. After a few wrong turns, the driver got me to the front door. You may want the hotel to write exact directions in Thai from mo chit or airport for you! Once there, it's a spacious, clean, quiet place in what looks like a residential / condo area with plenty of local food eateries and cafes. I was staying here to be able to catch an early flight, and the Don Muang airport is only 15-20 mins (max away). No need to pre book taxi if you're going around 6 am--they're already on the streets. 7-eleven down the block and another pharmacy on opposite side. Cafes also a few blocks away.

Good hotel at low price”
We paid $30 (not incl tax) for two nights in a double room. It took about 20 minutes (100 baht with grab taxi) to get to Don Mueang Airport from the hotel, a clean, big place with great staff, particularly the manager who let us use her printer. Good food places nearby but the area is far from the city centre. Our spacious room, which was cleaned daily, had a balcony and fridge. The only caveat I'd give is that travellers who aren't accustomed to sleeping on hard beds may have a rough sleep.

Perfect place for stop near Don Muaeng Airport”
ideal place for those who take a further flight via don mueang airport, as we did. it is located about 10 km from the airport and takes about 15 - 30 min to go there (depends on the traffic). the staff is very friendly and helpful; they ordered a taxi, provided good information about the surrounding to plan the evening and speak english very well. the rooms are clean with everything which is needed for a short stop. not luxurious, but a good service at a low price.

Perfect place to stay for a layover at DMK”
We had a one night layover, both flights out of DMK, so we needed a place that was close to the airport to spend the night. European Place was perfect! The rooms were clean, air con worked great, and staff were very helpful. As a bonus there is a small gym, and washers and driers that customers can use for a small fee. Plenty of places to eat just a couple of blocks away too, and only 15 minutes driving from the airport. We enjoyed it so much we actually booked another night there in a couple of weeks when we have another layover night. Thanks EP!

Close to Don Muang and local eateries”
Good place for transiting through Don Muang. Further out from city center. Clean, spacious rooms and very friendly staff (from reception to cleaning). If you don't want to get to the place crabby, get directions from their site or have their number handy cos the taxi driver from Don Muang may give you the run-around. Going back to DM is no problem however. Spacious rooms with small balcony, fridge and good AC. Quiet side street and residential area where local eateries come to life at night. 7-Eleven around the corner and the Mall Ngam Wong a taxi ride away. If you're looking for more eateries, there's the Urban IT mall (walking distance) with cafes and small restaurants. From that main road, you can possibly take public transport to the other major mall or taxi it. Japanese restaurant there quite good value for price. No MRT near by.

Clean, spacious hotel w/ atten staff cl to airport”
This became a go to hotel for transits through Don Muang. Close to airport, but you must take some directions (off their website) or else the taxi driver will say "yes, yes" and then drive around for a LONG time, costing you more than necessary. The place is in a quiet, residential street with plenty of local eateries around esp at night. Not much shopping except if you go to one of the largest malls in BKK: Mall Ngam Wong Wan. Accessible by public transport or taxi--usual mall amenities available. Staff here are excellent and very friendly. Loved their presence !

cheap hotel close to dmk airport”
we arrived in bangkok dmk airport about 1 am in the morning, we didn't make a call and were afraid the hotel had already closed. when we got to the hotel, the reception office was closed, but nice thing is the staff left the key to to security guard. we had to catch up the flight very early in the morning about 7 am. so we have to leave around 5 am. since this is a hotel not in the main road but in the small street, the security guard was very nice, he rode a bike out to call a taxi for us. we only stayed in this hotel for couple hours but we are very satisfied. it's more like a guest house near the university, the room is simple not very well decorated but clean. it's worth money to stay. especially good for those want to catch the flight in dmk airport.

Friendly staff, big, clean rms close to DM airport”
Download their map or directions off their website first or the reception phone number -- cos taxis will either take you for a very long spin or be clueless as to where this place is. It's close to the Don Muang airport, but you wouldn't know it from taxis saying yes, then going a very long way to find it. Once there, it's a great experience. Laundry machines on premises, a mini-gym (not sure if you need to pay extra). ...decent internet. Best if you're looking not to go into the city and in transit.

Close to airport, clean, comfortable and quiet”
The hotel is about 15mins taxi ride from the airport - the ride costs about 120THB to the airport, and 120THB+50THB airport surcharge from the airport. It is about 45min taxi ride from Khao San area - we paid for a taxi about 180THB. The staff were nice, spoke English reasonably well, and were able to book us a taxi for a very early flight the next morning. The room was clean, with AC and a balcony, pleasant to sleep in. It is a good deal for a budget travel. Download a map with directions to the hotel from the website in advance to show the driver as the location is fairly difficult to find for taxi drivers.

Comfortable & Convenient, Friendly Staffs”
Comfortable & Clean room though the furnitures are a little used. The European Place is great for backpackers or travellers who will spend little time in the hotel. Convenience store is just right at the front of the road. Quiet place. Lots of eateries at the road side at the night(near 7-11). Getting taxi is never hard. Walk to the main road(takes about 10minutes) and you can get yourself a bus from there.

As it was said, taxi driver had trouble finding the place, but he called the hotel and everything was ok (we also had a map in thai for the driver). Clean place, quiet, great to stay before your flight next day. Staff were helpful, called us taxi early in the morning. The taxi was faster and cheaper on the way back to the aiport, only around 100 baht (I am not sure), the way from the aiport to the hotel was longer and more complicated.

Out of inner Bangkok accomodation”
This Place provide basic facilities Value for ur money. Ideal if ur engaged with activities outside Bangkok city area. Traveling to Bangkok will take 1.5 to 2 hrs during rush hours. As we were having a program in Durakij Pundit university, it was a ideal location with 10 min walk. 7-11 very close. The Mall and big C panties plaza branch and central plaza reduce ur requirements to travel to the Bangkok city area.

nice hotel for a good price”
we booked this hotel because we wanted to be close to don meuang airport for an early morning flight up country. the hotel was nice and clean. the price was very good and the staff was friendly. i'm not sure i would call it a 3 star property, though. the neighborhood was quiet, a university is nearby and some simple,local style restaurants.
