The hotel was excellent. It is near to many water taxi station and you can reach Rialto bridge easily by water taxi. Room was spacious, we booked 3 bed room for one night. Cleanliness was excellent, room quality was good, facilities were all available and staff was friendly and helpful for everything

Hidden gem”
Wasn’t hopeful as we approached. The location seemed to be in a quieter suburb and the outside is very understated but inside the building was great, staff couldn’t have been nicer and the room was comfortable and clean. It was perfect for exploring the city and very close (less than 10 min walk) to the water bus - Madonna del’Orto - the first stop from Marco Polo airport.

Dated hotel ”
Pros: Great location, 18 min walk from train station and away from the noise of the busiest areas yet close enough to cute restaurants Cons: Lobby is fine but the rooms are dated and need a full renovation. Morning of our check out, the water in the shower had weak pressure and would get hot only off and on. We had a2nd floor room which was large but had carpet (gross) and no widows, only skylights which had shutters on them so barely got any natural light. For the price, I expected more.

Amazing views. Good location and fair price. The room was big, comfortable and cute but wasn’t properly clean, which was quite disappointing (the reception guy came to help). We may need to think twice about staying or not here again. I give it a 6-7/10 being a 4* International Eurostars Hotel. Thank you!

Stayer Beware”
When we entered the room, we checked our beds for any sorts of bugs. We found some and got the hotel staff to come to check them out. The headboard next to the bug infested bed had white sticky substance on it. We also pointed out how the pull-out couch bed never was cleaned and had lot of dust and food stuck next to the pillow. The hotel staff were friendly, saw the bugs, and moved us to another room. Unfortunately, that room had a broken air conditioner, so we suffered through the night at 95°. In the morning we spoke to the hotel manager who had an attitude about the whole situation. I asked if we could get free breakfast and to fix our air conditioner for our inconvenience. After some convincing, he finally agreed to offer breakfast and to fix the conditioner. The hotel manager acted as if bugs were normal for beds/rooms, but said he will call the bug inspector. He kept claiming that we left the windows open (which was not true). The air conditioner was fixed the next evening, and

Great canal view room”
We found Residenza Cannaregio on Agoda which has a very reasonable price and we're very surprised with the location. It's located in a very quiet part of Venice, far from the main tourist streets. Staffs are very helpful (we asked our way around, which is the best restaurant etc..), the hotel is almost hidden away which is a nice touch. Our room has a very good view of the canal but the heater is not working which is an disappointment (it's around 0-5 Celsius degrees in Venice during our stay). Other complain is free wifi only available in the lobby, you need to pay for internet in your room which is only available on cable. Overall Residenza Cannaregio definitely have my recommendation for whoever want to have a stay in Venice, great place, great room.

A lovely oasis”
Let's face it, accommodation in Venice is pretty costly. My search for a quality hotel at a reasonable cost led me to book the Eurostars Residenza Cannaregio and I was not disappointed. The hotel is in a converted monastery and has a lovely garden in the centre courtyard. It is air conditioned which is imperative in the summer and is tucked away in a quiet street. The Cannaregio district and the hotel itself are quite a walk to the hustle and bustle of St Mark's Square but I consider this to be a good thing. It takes you to parts of Venice where Venetians actually live and you see things you just wouldn't if you stayed closer in. We even walked from there to the train station when we left - maybe a 10 to 15 minute walk at most. You can get the Vaporetto (water taxi) if walking is an issue for you. There are two stops within five minutes of the hotel. The room itself wasn't huge but quite adequate and everything was very clean. The breakfast was generous with a wide selection. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful if approached for information. No tea and coffee making facilities in the room but hot water and coffee and tea could be obtained from the bar. We were also offered a complimentary drink from the bar on our arrival. No face cloths with the bathroom linen. My only small issue was that we had requested a twin room as opposed to a double (I had even emailed to ask specifically for this as I was travelling with my sixteen year old daughter) but we were given a double room. However, this was a great hotel and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Residenza Cannaregio Hotel”
My family and I stayed in Residenza Cannaregio Hotel in May during our holiday in Venice. The location of the hotel is not very good and it is quite hard to find. We had to walk about 25 minutes from the train station. However, everything besides the location is good. We have a nice two-story family room with 2 televisions. The room is clean and the breakfast is very good. The service staff is helpful and frieldly.

Wonderful hotel with great rate though Agoda”
This was the second hotel my wife and I stayed in on our 4 week European honeymoon and our stay folloed on from a very poor guesthouse in Rome. We were very very happy with our stay. We got a great rate through the Agoda website and we got a free upgrade because we were on honeymoon. The room was very warm and the area was very quiet. Venice can be quite noisy and crowded but we really enjoyed our quiet evening walks in the Cannaregio neighbourhood. we have nothing to complain about.

Wonderful in all aspects”
We loved the layout of the room which was a loft concept! My elderly parents took the sofa bed while baby, husband and I slept in the loft. Loft area comprised 3 single beds and there's still lots of floor space for baby to crawl around on. I also loved the location - away from the noise of San Marco. Near to the hotel are some quaint Baccaris. Ask the hotel for recommendations. Price-wise, it is expensive but compared to other hotels in Venice, is still very reasonable. The hotel looks very new (the photos on TripAdvisor had given me impression it was old and old-fashioned) and we also had great welcome drinks - wine, liquer, spirits, etc. Not just a fancy-looking non-alcoholic beverage with a toothpick umbrella!

Good hotel well situated”
I have stayed already 5 times at the Cannaregio Residenza and have never been dissapointed. What we enjoyed the most about the hotel is that it is away from the big tourist area and yet it is close to everything either by Vapareto or within walking distance. Also close by are good restaurants and fair prices.

Good service nice large rooms”
compared with many hotels we checked out, this hotel offered good value for the price we paid. we booked a junior sweet for 3 people for 4 nights. the suite was separated into a top floor with a master bedroom and a bottom floor with a fold out sofa bed. both areas had aircon and tv. the room was clean, comfortable and spacious. the reception is professional and helpfull. the breakfast was good with plenty variety. the hotel is close to the main walking street with lots of restaurants and shops within a 5 min walk. the area right around the hotel is quiet. there is a nice small bar in the hotel and a small garden. all hotels in venice are difficult to find on the first day so get directions from the hotel before you arrive (by train is very different than from arrival by air). you cannot avoid walking about 5-10 min - to practically all hotels in venice.

Good family hotel in quiet location”
the hotel is located in a quiet area of cannaregio, a short distance from restaurants etc., but not in the middle of the most touristy areas. the extra sofabed was not very good, but the suite, over 2 floors, was spacious and ok. breakfast was included and good. the staff helpful. the stairs in the suites were steel and a bit noisy (easy to hear your neighbor using the stairs next door, and the shower water pressure was minimal (it was possible to shower, but took a little while to get wet and rinsed off)

Great hotel away from all the tourists”
I would diffently recommand this hotel. It was nice walking in the not so crowded Venice and seeing how the real people of Venice live. The canal on the side of the hotel had activity in it but not as much as the Grand Canal so we never had to worry about the noise. There are local bars and resturants one canal over and two canals over is the tourist path that takes you from the train/bus station to Saint Mark Square which is full of shops and resturants.

Exceptional”
This room is awesomely huge and the ambience is great, situated right next to a small canal. There was an electric kettle in the room for us to make warm drinks in winter. The staff were very helpful in moving the heavy luggage and offered valuable advice when checking in and out. A welcome drink was also offered and accomodation was made when requested for warm and non-alcoholic drinks. Since the location is a good 15 min away from the Venice train station, it would be good if the hotel could provide an in-house porter service instead.
