Nice mood”

All stuffs treated us as family. They provide free kayak to see waterfall，and rent boats to take you to Ile aux cerfs ，about 30minutes by single way due to your own time. Their food is good and not expensive，especial t he beef，which my husband likes best during the whole Mauritius trip.

Great stay in a wonderfull hotel”

We stayed only 1 night at this hotel, but what a great experience! We arrived in the morning, but no problem at all. The room was ready, the staff had all the time in the world to show the facilities, advised us when what to do. Though it is a small hotel, it has a great pool with a wonderfull view, you can (at the beinning and end of the day because of the busy traffic of boats on the river) take a canoe to the waterfalls, for a small price visit ile Cerfs. The staff is extremely nice and helpfull, everything was top! And as well as the breakfast and the dinner is with local traditional food. We enjoyed our stay extremely well. Thanks!

Very nice staff that will go the extra mile to help you. Arranged a great trip to Île Aux Cerfs and were very pleasant. The location is great, as you'll see the more local and "real" side of the island, without too many tourists.

Quiet place in the east of the island”

Nice room , cool swimming pool , great to kayak on the river to go to the waterfall. Day trip to cerf island also can be booked there. Dinner available at the hotel . A bit isolated in case you don't have a car, though Bus stop is next to the property and took almost 1h to get it the closest town . No restaurants available nearby , only a small shop to buy water and snacks. No pharmacy , ATM or bank ..closest one we found was mahenbourg. Area is not really touristic, but it's pleasant for a few days of tranquility and also quite authentic : monkeys next to the river banks , fox bats everywhere :)

Very nice apartments resort”

Class is 3*, with nice offering for couples and families. We were family with 3 children, had 2 floors apartment. The apartment is basic, small fridge, no kitchen but Airconditioned, well maintained. Location is on lovely river fannel, (grand rivet) and you can take kayaks (free) and paddle to a nice waterfall, see monkeys on the river shore. The staff snd owner are very helpful and patient tobyour needs. We got breakfast packed to go for our early morning departure from Mauritius, the evening before.

Hidden Paradise”

Lovely river touch place maintained by owner, he and his staff is awesome and provide great support. They prepared delicious breakfast and dinner, we will surely stay next time too if we are revisiting Mauritius.

Absolutely fantastic Hosts and staff. They referred us to very good Restaurants and these Restaurants turned out to be great and found us the best prices for Catamaran and Parasailing! Jean-Claude encouraged us everyday to explore this and that on the Island! He and his wife Francis are very humble and lovely people!

Very good river-side guesthouse”

A very good place to stay. Very clean and maintained. Great views of the river and its expiration in the Indian Ocean. The best room for this view is room no. Quatre Soeurs. The owner lived directly to the river with a wonderfull swimming pool and a very good view to the river. Everyone who lived in the guesthouse was invited to use this. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Very nice and welcoming place. Friendly people, natural environment just at the bank of a river and good price compared to other accommodation in the area. I really enjoyed my stay.

Good”

Not a bad place to stay, but it was quite expensive compared to what we managed to find for the rest of our holiday (we had a twin room here and paid about the same price as a 2 bedroom penthouse in flic-en-flac). They do have kayaks available there to go to the small 'waterfall' just up the river, but due to the amount of powered boats in the small waterway that this hotel is on, it's recommended that you only go before 9am or after 4:30pm as the wake from the powered boats might tip over the kayaks. At any rate, you can see the 'waterfall' by driving about 5 minutes away and walking along the causeway over the river.

Jean Claude , Frances and staff very welcoming and provided us with very good service. Ran the extra mile to please us. JC provided us with fruitful info for places to visit in the surroundings. Decent local food and can be arranged for in the morning as per your request for your evening meal. Recommended for people looking for a short getaway to recharge your energy. Enjoy a nice trip in a kayak to see the grand River South East waterfall or have a trip across the river to visit the village nearby. Other excursions available and can be organized through JC. Good fishing spot from the river bank or near the waterfall for Amateurs. Thanks to all for the good Moments we shared together. Will definitely come back with friends to share the experience.
