Worst Experience of My Life
Easily the worst experience of my entire life - holiday or work. It was a terrible experience, right from the entrance. I thought I was in the wrong place until i saw the check in counter all the way to the back of a restaurant, right next to the entrance to the kitchen. Stepping into the room was like taking a step back into history. Everything looks 50 years old. I have never felt so suffocating in a room before. It has near zero ventilation. Windows are locked, but your could hear the aircon compressor vibrating noisily outside. Only other way to ventilate your room was to leave your door open - to full view of other old, odd patrons who seems to have make a living out of the other rooms. The room has only 1 plug point - and it is for the one essential item in the room, the standfan. So if you want to charge your phone, you will need to pay in sweat. All in all, it was so bad I checkout out that rainy night and found myself another place. Imagine this - I am backpacking in Bangkok, have slept in all kinds of cheap places, am on an extremely tight budget, is willing to lose 800 baht (i booked for 2 nights) to find a more liveable place.

near to bts station.
centrally located.
dirty room with bare facilities. since the building is mainly made of wood, a restaurant on the ground floor which is near to the guestroom entrance look like a fire hazard to the entire building. no internet access at all even though wifi coverage strength is good throughout the building.

It's okay
Very near to BTS Sala Daeng Station, WIFI is free and it's fast, near PATPONG area
It's very simple, it feels that you're just at home. One of its stregths is, it's near BTS station, there are also lots of establishments around. The basic single room is also cheap. If you are nocturnal person, then nightlife is just few steps away from your room. Snake farm is also near same as with the Lumpini park. I had also a fast wifi connection. Unfortunately, the room given to me was really hot even though there's a ceiling fan. I would like to stay here again, but I'm not going back to the room given to me.
