Nice Hotel for Convenience and Relaxation”
I stayed at Eveningsun B&B when I visited Green Island. The owners help you with everything you need (scooter, transportation too and from the dock, and maps + recommendations for places to visit). The hotel is in a secluded location (either a plus or a minus depending on what you want in your trip—the main town has more of a spring-break-in-Florida type of vibe), but if you want easy access to the hot springs and a few beaches you won't regret staying here. The hotel has a pastel color scheme with a lot of fairy tale inspired paintings on the wall, which combined with the laid back nature of the area, creates an aesthetic nice for an extended weekend couple's retreat.

The staff was really helpful, breakfast was great, and the bed very confortable! Bad points: smell of smoke in the corridor despite the prohibition, and a price a little high to our opinion.

The room was really bright and the hallway noise kept waking me up so bring your earplugs and a face mask. Otherwise it was clean and comfortable enough for one nights stay to be near the hot springs.

Pleasant and relax stay at the Eveningsun”
I really enjoyed my stay at the Eveningsun. The location is near the hotspring, on a calm part of the island where you can peacefully enjoy the sunrise in the morning. The hotel is really cute. The staff was excellent, the sweet Alice was really nice and Chen friendly and helpful.

It's the best B&B on Green Island or even in Taiwan. The hosts are very kind and helpful. Breakfasts are amazing. You can rent the scooter. We really feel like at home :)

Not worth it”
Our room was on the 4th floor without an elevator. The hotel overcharged me for my son to stay in the room. No refrigerator and a terrible breakfast. Very far from everything. Very small accommodations in general. The bathroom was way too small. Taking a shower wet the entire bathroom!

Helpful staff made a lovely experience :)”
Staff taught us how to ride escooters which is the most convenient way to see the island. They ferried us to and from the port. Two cute cats in the building. Cute deer outside that you can feed leaves to. The room was clean and spacious.

Quiet part of the island not too far from hot springs”
Tony was super helpful in picking us up from the ferry and providing us with a scooter and any info. Breakfast was basic. Rooms have funny designs but could be done up a bit, as could general maintenance.

Heartwarming stay ”
It was a heartwarming stay with really friendly and helpful owner. There was an ferry transfer to ferry our luggage to and from the ferry terminal. I was unable to rent the motorbike or electric scooter from most of the shops as I have no experience in both, the owner was very nice to offer me a bicycle for transport and adjusting the seat for me. Even though the location is far from the 'town' of the island, it's very near to the hot springs and major tourist spots. Breakfast was toast, onion pancake and carrot cake cooked by the owner on the spot. Everything you need for a pleasant stay is provided in the room. I have really enjoyed my 1 night stay in this home.

The family that runs this bed and breakfast were super friendly and helped us with travel arrangements and transported our luggage to and from the ferry. Communication (in English) before and during our stay was easy. The daily breakfast was toast and a few freshly made Taiwanese items. There was a microwave and toaster oven available for heating our own food, and plenty of refrigerator space. The bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean with good hot water. The WiFi worked fine in our room. The facilities are a bit worn and could use some better cleaning/upkeep all around but our basic needs were met with no problems. The location is a tiny village on the opposite side of the island from the other towns. 10 minute walk to hot spring, 2 minutes from hiking trailhead, and very little traffic, which is exactly what we were wanting. Unless you really love walking, you will need to rent a scooter to get to stores/restaurants. We enjoyed our quiet 3 night stay and loved walking around the island.

Sehr hilfreiches Personal! Sehr gemütlich!”
Wurden vom Hafen direkt nach Ankunft mit unserem Gepäck abgeholt und mit Scooter ausgestattet. Das Personal hat uns bei allem (z.B. Schnorcheltour buchen, Infos zu Insel etc.) sehr geholfen. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Immer wieder gerne!
