A Great Choice to Stay”
Ambonmanise is the way we usually name after the people & the island. Honestly, it's the truth. The hotel is just a perfect place to stay while visiting Ambon. It's located close to Mardika, also Pattimura Park, Lapangan Merdeka, and GPM Maranatha (Ambon central city). Damri bus stop has a final drop off in front of Lapangan Merdeka. From there, you can ride a becak to arrive in Everbright at the cost Rp 15.000, - Rp 20.000,- or it's about USD 1,28 - USD 1,70(price per March 2014 when I visited). The hotel was used to call Grand Soya Hotel before it had been renovated last year. No worries, there are many food seller around the hotel. Don't be hesitate to visit Ambon. The local people are super friendly, they won't lie you once you're asking for a direction, they are relly helpfull. The beaches, pisang goreng, fresh fish, sukun goreng and everything you name it are super great. Really wishing to comeback to Ambon, sungguh manise :)

Hotel really good”
Staff really helpfull, everytime we ask about something or anything they always answer it so polight. Room condition is really good,stayed there for 5days and all good, no complaining at all. Everyday we always have breakfast at hotel,,and the menu always change everyday beside porridge and friend rice. And the food really good. If i go to ambon,,i would stay here again.

We enjoyed staying in the hotel. The rooms are clean, fresh and modern, the staff at the reception was very helpful and helped us to arranged a day trip around the island. Location is close to city center. Negative points: - no minibar or fridge in room - Breakfast is disappointing and does not match the hotel's rooms standards.

A modest hotel with potential to be a 4 star hotel”
Awesome..after a 10 minutes walk from the bus station at Mardika, I checked in without any problem, it all set as Agoda booking. The room is very comfort not too big and not too small. The view from the window is also good, city view.

Convenient Transit Hotel”
Our stay was great. We stayed one night while in transit from Raja Ampat. The hotel is not very close to the airport, but the staff had no problem arranging a reasonably priced car for our early morning departure. The manager was on duty and we spoke to him a few times as we saw him. The language ability of the hotel was good and service staff was very friendly. Restaurant dishes were great (Indonesian) and the menu was bilingual. Overall, a nice stay. Very clean hotel as it is somewhat new.

located at residential area but not too far from main street. Hotel is nice except breakfast which was not too special. Good alternative if you can't stay at the only 5 stars hotel nearby.

Hotel minimalist clean”
Pretty neat and clean hotel, maybe just because have been renovated. Very clean and good location. Easy to go everywhere. When you check out very early in the morning, make sure you communicate with receptionist night before that you will got breakfast. My experience, I did't have breakfast, even though I talked to receptionist a night before. The morning receptionist said no one talked to him. The other thing, they do not have rule about smoking and no smoking room. I found burn spot from cigarette butt at the table in the bath room from previous guest.

nice hotel needing better management”
This is a newer hotel with good potential if it was managed better. We stayed in one of the executive rooms which we really liked. Unfortunately it was not clean starting with hair all over the floor. Breakfast was mediocre at best and served in a smoke filled room downstairs. Very little english spoken at the front desk so expect to be pretty much on your own.

A somewhat disappointing stay”
This is an old hotel which was fully renovated. So, the building looks new, but apart from the General Manager, none of the staff seem to have been trained in hospitality industry or hotel management. There is no internet connection here; the restaurant is not a 3 stars standard and font office management need a lot of improvement. TV connection and coverage is very good and this is one of the good features of this hotel. Having said all that the staff are very kind and nice.

Very noisy maintenace work”
Hotel is quite clean. But it is not a 3 star hotel, more a 2 star. Staff very friendly but not helpfull. Maintenace work very noisy for a whole day i was there, all the way until past 9pm at night. Really annoying and destroy any chance if comfortable rest after a hard day of work
