Great hotel, but terrible customer service!”
I've stayed at the Everbright Hotel many times before, but this particular stay was a nightmare. The hotel was good, the staff were friendly, but I think the management was just terrible. I booked the hotel through Agoda, and everything went smoothly. Until I arrived at the front desk to check in. The gentleman at the front desk told me that all the rooms were full! Even though I've paid for my room, they claimed not to have any room available. Instead, they sent me to a hotel which is located not too far from Everbright, but not as easily accessible, and the price at Agoda was lower than the amoount I paid through Agoda. They did give me a room the next day, but I was dissatisfied. It's not the staff's fault, but I think the hotel management has cheated me. Everbright is the only hotel in the East Surabaya area that I would choose due to its location, so I will have no choice but stay there again. I hope the management get their act together because if they continue this way, it's not impossible that their customers will turn to other hotels

i only stayed one night in this new hotel, its located near galaxy mall in surabaya, for the room because its quite new so you can still smell the paint from the wall, this hotel have quite big rooms with 47" lcd but the tv reception is bad. i experienced 2 blackouts in this hotel.

3stars with worth value”
I would say that my family was satisfied with this hotel. Although it is rated 3stars but the rooms were really comfortable. Cheap yet comfortable. Only the things that disturbing are mosquitoes at the lobby and the sound proof. Young couples should be reminded to keep it low as people can hear you from the outside. Overall i am very satisfied with this hotel.

the one reason that i choose this hotel because they have good location in this city, especially in east surabaya. but one handicap i found is the cleanliness of the room especially the bed, seems dirty. so i complain the room service in the midnight to change our bed cover. it feels uncomfortable to us.

Simple but Sufficient”
As my husband a happy smoker, we were luckily given the only room in the hotel that has balcony, even though if we forgot to close the door to the balcony, plenty of small "flies" will fly to the bedroom very quickly. The hotel considered clean as it has just opened only for 2 months. The room interior is simple but the basic room facilities are all there (including a magnifying mirror and hair dryer). The staff (Reception, Housekeeping, Breakfast Attendants) are friendly. The room Cleaning Service (Housekeeping?) once forgot to resupply the coffee, tea and sugar and to refill the empty tissue box in the toilet and there is no spare tissue roll as well in the toilet. Parking space too small, our guests have difficulties to park their cars.

first day i was complaining about the cleanliness of bed sheet so they changed the bed sheet with the new one.and the cleanliness of this hotel needs improvement and we saw a lot of fingerprint in the elevator all the time,considering it is a 3 stars hotel.but location is very strategic,the price is affordable,the food is good enough.may be it is better if they change the outsource laundrette with the other one,and fix the cleaning problem it would be a great hotel to stay.

this hotel takes place in the middle of the city, we can go find whatever we want to eat, coz it nears a lot of restaurant and a shopping mall. if u traveling by car, u find it convenient to stay here, across the hotel is the gas station. tee hee. this hotel have a nice room eventhough its quite small, but its clean n hv high view.
