Great for travelers who enjoy the tranquility. My only complaint is that the info page should include better instruction to the location itself, include the name known to locals, and/or put some signs from the main road -- the taxi driver had a hard time finding the location.
Thank you very much for your review. We really appreciate your kind words of appreciation and we will implement your constructive criticism which will give us a great room for improvement. caron
A very relaxing place to stay with amazing views of the Himalayas. Awesome friendly staff, good breakfast and restaurant with large deck to enjoy the surroundings. Lots of nature and bush tracks to explore. A couple of km from main town.
Thank you very much monique. It was a pleasure hosting you for 10 nights in our place.
Friendly staff, big room with hot water shower and great views. Downstairs rooms can be a bit noisy if rooms above are full due to wooden floors. Otherwise a lovely peaceful area located out of town. Plenty of walking/ hiking tracks. Breakfast is adequate and restaurant/deck area is relaxing to enjoy views. Friendly staff who can arrange transport, treking etc. We booked 4 nights and stayed 18 nights! We did have own motorbike so were able to explore all the surrounding areas even though most roads are not sealed.
Thank you very much monique. Highly appreciated. We have noted your positive feedback and your constructive criticism which will give us a great room for improvement. For your gentle reminder, the houses are made in traditional style with wooden floors. In our low season, we are planning to upgrade our facilities to provide better guest experience. Hope you will give us another opportunity to impress you in near future. best regards, caron

“MOLD IS EVERYWHERE IN THE ROOM!!!”
We checked in & 15 min later, we checked out & moved to another hotel. The room & toilet has mold growing everywhere & the smell of it was awful. I could not even stay in the room for 10 min. The hotel wanted to move us to another room & the mold smell there was even worse. The staff said that all the rooms are have the same problem. This hotel is about 20 years old & the interior of the rooms are lined with wooden panels which have been absorbing the dampness of the air for years. The wooden walls have been rotting away all these years. The only good thing about this hotel is the fantastic view of the valley & the mountains. So, unless you plan to stay & sleep outdoors all the time while at this hotel & don't mind the smell of foul smelling mold, go ahead.
Dear Ivan, Thank you very much for your constructive criticism. We would like to clarify few things so that it will be easy for the future travellers to make decisions. As we are located in 2100 mtrs above sea level, the highest location in the whole Nagarkot and we are surrounded by the forests. All the rooms are east facing with the great views of the himalayas and sunrise from each room. So, as the rooms do not receive the sunshine all the day, it is quite normal for the rooms to be bit damp. Yes, humidity is a problem in all the mountains and we dont receive the sunshine all the time. So, we have kept the heater in our rooms. We do accept that humidity is a problem however it is not that awful as you have mentioned. In near future, we are installing air conditioning to sort out this matter. Hope you will give us another opportunity to impress you in your coming days. caron whatsapp +977-9851192617
