Wonderful front desk staff”

Friendliest front desk staff. Great value for clean, comfortable rooms. Wide choices for meals including affordable and convenient food court, beautiful buffet and gormet dining.

I was very impressed by the front desk staff from the moment of my check-in, with "Jimmy" (who went through his list of available rooms to find one I like. I had a great room with a view. It was a great way to start my vacation visit.) The next day, I watched as Assistant Front Desk Manager, Kendall Wallace should tremendous effort and professionalism in assisting a guest (who I was also trying to help) as she worked her way through the check-in process. I soon realized that he puts forward every effort to get guests squared away by listening carefully to their questions and concerns; and then explaining all hotel options to accommodate them. As he worked, I could see that he carefully focused on each customer and used his available staff efficiently and effectively to bring arriving guests through the check-In process comfortably. All things considered during my enjoyable stay in Las Vegas, it was the professionalism of Mr. Wallace that impressed me the most. Intelligent, articulate are accommodating to each arrival, he is a tremendous representative of Excalibur Hotel. You have a great front desk team. Hats off to your wonderful staff !

Excellent value for the price”

Room was not extravagant...but comfortable and pleasant; staff were friendly and helpful; check in and check out were simple and painless

This was my second stay at the Excalibur...but the first in roughly five years. My wife had never stayed at the Excalibur. Upon arrival, we were upgraded from a King room in Tower I to Tower II. The room was not fancy, but was very clean and comfortable...and the view from the 23rd floor (looking north toward the Strip and over the New York New York) was impressive, particularly when the Strip was lit up at night. I enjoy playing blackjack and was especially impressed by BJ dealers Sophie and Sandy. In addition, Cora was extremely helpful and kind during the check in/upgrade process. The only drawbacks were the length of the walk from the south entrance (shuttle drop off) to the registration desk and the need to travel through the smoke filled casino area to access nearly everything within the facility from Towers I and II. My wife is allergic to smoke and we will need to consider facilities with "clean air options" for those who choose not to gamble during future visits.

Awesome Place To Stay! Great Staff!!”

Location, Great Staff and Clean Room

This was the first time staying at the Excalibur and really surprised me. The reviews stated that it was outdated but I found that it is perfect for the themed times. The room we stayed in was clean and I wasn't afraid to walk on the carpet or sit in the chairs. Staff was great and room service was fast and good. Would recommend staying here and will stay here again if I can find low rates. All hotels are over priced for Vegas but this was in the middle for me on price. Could have been a little cheaper so I could spend more on gambling and eating at the hotels more.

Good place ... Maybe showing it's age”

A very good location on the strip. Easy access to all activities Law Vegas has to offer. The Excalibur opened in the 1990s and is showing it's age. The rooms are basic, maintenance said the toilets clog often, as ours did. The in room TV was poor quality, which kinda makes sense. Lot's of kids running around, it's a family place. Weird to see little kids in and around the casino, but these are probably people that take little kids to the movies and let them run around while the movie plays. Overall a good value! 4 days max is plenty of time in Vegas.

Excellent hotel considering the price and location”

Location is great, just south of the 'miracle mile'. Price was outstanding in consideration of the relative prices of others nearby. View from the 'resort strip view' room was good. It has the usual casino and food outlets, although I would say that it felt smokier in the casino compared to others on the strip. All in all a great choice for those on a budget or those not looking to spend much of their time in the rooms anyway, which I guess is most visiting Las Vegas where you can just wander round all the other hotels freely.

Perfect location for a great price.”

Location, price, friendly staff.

The Excalibur is the perfect place to stay for the budget conscious traveler who wishes to be close to the strip. With a wide array of food options inside the hotel itself -including a stocked buffet-, I never had to travel far to grab a bite to eat whilst running errands around town. This is always my first choice when I come to Vegas!! A++

Decent overall experience”

Affordable high quality buffet, security arrangements, express check-out facility

My stay itself was fine with one little disappointment. It was around the issue of check-out. I asked for a late check-out by a mere 1 hour. The check-out time was Noon and I asked for a 1 hour extension. I was curtly told that it would be $28 for the extra hour and I was supposed to come down and pay that upfront. If you have seen the lines in front of the counter, that would have eaten up the whole extra hour. So I just rushed through my chores and checked out in time. It feels wrong that they would nickel and dime you for the extra hour anyway, but even if they do, you should be allowed to pay for it when you actually check-out. The hotel is reasonably conveniently located on the strip and boasts a options rich casino albeit smoky at times. The buffet lunch was awesome and very reasonably priced all things considered. The parking is a little confusing (Self park is between Excalibur and Luxor) but nothing too difficult. They had a security guard by the elevators making sure that only hotel guests would be allowed into the lifts and that is comforting in Vegas. The check-in lines are long but move quickly. Overall, but for my check-out experience disappointment, I was quite happy with the hotel.

Kind of nasty smell from the toilet, but we have no choices since the hotel is usually busy. ”

The hotel is close to airport and las Vegas welcome sign and south outlets shopping mall. We can have fun walking along the strip to the north. I don't recommend the Buffet in the hotel, even though you are really hungry. Just go to elsewherefor meals. Other facility inside is fine. The biggest problem is the smell from the toilet in our room. However, we only have one room choice when we arrived and we just closed the door all the time. After all, we spent one night there. Maybe the hotel would change room for us if we require.

A Slightly Dated hotel but a Las Vegas icon”

**Little side note: Frequent Vegas about 3-4 times a year. We were a group of 4 that stayed in the Resort Tower. The room we had was dated and to be honest, a little depressing looking. Since we figured we'd be out and about most of the time, we weren't going to complain too much about the room and I've paid twice the amount for a room that was in a worse condition. In my opinion, the location of the hotel is great. It's got a free tram that's connected to luxor and mandalay bay and reaching the rest of the strip can be achieved by making a short walk to the monorail station at MGM or walking to monte carlo which has trams attached that reach the city center. My only main complaint is how far the parking garage is to the casino. We drove to Las Vegas and unloading/reloading our suitcases required multiple trips to/from the car to the hotel. In 100 degree weather, it sure takes a toll on you. Would I stay here again? Yes Would it be my first choice? Depends on the price If I had a better quality room, i'd be completely happy with this hotel. If anything, I was lucky and walked away a winner at this casino =].

We always stay here every time we go to Las Vegas. It was our third time. What we love about this hotel is the price is really good. The new renovated rooms are fabulous, very modern and huge! It is really in the heart of the new Vegas. The bus stop is just a few steps away from the hotel lobby, very convenient you can go shopping to outlet stores or go to old vegas.

The cost of the room was not too high. I paid around $77 for double queen bedroom there and it was a great night. The facilities are great and I love the theme of this hotel but the location is seems a little bit far from the strip. It take more than 15mn by walk to the heart of Las Vegas. In sum up, it' is great in term of cost, facilities and the convenience of the room.

Vegas stay ”

I booked online through the mobile App. I was surprised the great deal I got. The excalibur is older hotel. Room need to be updated with more modern furniture and there was no outlets at the table, or in the center bed stand. The only out available was by the bed closest to the bathroom. The other outlet Was in the bathroom. Smoking is still allowed in the Casino. The filters do a decent job but I wished there wasn’t smoking allowed. Being a resort be prepared to higher prices for your Starbucks, and other food in the restaurants. You can still order Uber/lyft and short walk to public transportation and monorail. The staff are friendly and very helpful. They gym is nice with very good and up to date equipment.if you go to the gym early it maybe busy. The pool was closed for season but it does look nice. The steam and sauna are part of a spa fee do I didn’t want to spend the extra 100.00 for just to sit in a stem room. Overall the Excalibur was a good deal for early Dec

I've stayed at the Excalibur mulitiple time and it looks like they have renovated their rooms. They come with flat screen TVs and the furniture appears to be more modern. They hotel is within walking distance of most popluar attractions on the strip. It's a reasonably priced hotel with acceptable living conditions.

The Excalibur Hotel and Casino was a great location on the strip. The front desk process was straightforward with no issues. There was a variety of bars on the casino floor, which had friendly staff and good service. Overall a positive experience.

Nice stay ! ”

Location, cleanliness, great for kids

We were just in Vegas for one night, and Excalibur was a great choice for us and our 4 year-old. Breakfast was good, buffet style, perfect for us. We could enjoy the Strip as it is very conveniently located in the city.

Great Hotel .....near freeway and on strip”

overall good experience

As far as hotels on the strip go this place and Luxor are probably one of the lowest cost places to stay and honestly when in Vegas how much time do you really spend in your room? If your looking for a place to sleep ...that is clean....on the strip and offers all the basics and cheap price....luxor or Excalibur are the two options you have....walk on the brifge and your at mgm or new york hotel

Pretty good overall; family vacation on a budget”

Vegas trip with small children....what do you expect? It was fun, hard, and exhausting. Hotel was pretty good overall. Best hotel/location for the price we could find (we used priceline). Room was decent; beds were comfortable enough (I've been in better but also worse). It was clean at least. View was amazing; kids loved the "castle and tower" look. Long lines to check in, no where to park and wait. Parking was difficult; finally found a spot in the garage behind the hotel on the second level. Found out later I could have asked for a luggage cart and "bellhop" person (or whatever they call them) to help carry things in; it was a long walk with luggage and kids to our room. They don't lend out luggage carts w/o the staff member to help. Casino on the entire bottom floor, but that was expected. 1st day had a hotel staff member direct us to a desk for discount tickets for events, and got roped in for cheap tickets to "review a resort," which turned out to be a big time-share pitch. Paid $100 (had to be cash) up front for the 4 tickets, and received a "voucher" for the tickets, to be redeemed after the sales pitch. The pitch was high pressure, but we politely said no. Nice play area for kids above 4 years old, and a free lunch! (Sandwiches, juice, and cookies, nothing special but not bad.) We didn't ask many questions, made our intentions clear up front, and the sales rep was polite but had to take us through the presentation. Lasted about 2 hours. Others were there for much longer with questions. Manager tried a hard close and lowered the price; we said no. She finally signed off on our tickets; they took us to a room to "review" the presentation, where they lowered the monthly price again (not sure how that all was possible and worked out???) and again tried to close. We said no (again) and finally they took us to an accountant who exchanged the ticket certificates for the vouchers (or vice versa...never understood the terminology there) and refunded our
