I know this location is overcoming a few obstacles and the staff there right now is doing a spectacular job of getting this hotel in top shape! I think corporate ( from the very top, NO exclusions!) ABSOLUTELY SHOULD be made to come work the trenches for at least two weeks every year! I believe that with every corporation. After all without the fantastic hard working dedicated people you have facing the customers every day, WHERE WOULD ALL OF YOU BE? I don’t know about this company’s track record with employees BUT I do know that you treat them great....they’ll treat you even better!!

Great hotel if you can get in”
We have had too many issues over the years with checking in, so we are not going to stay here anymore. It doesn't matter if you have the confirmation number in your hand, the front desk people can never find our reservation. We have credit card authorization confirmation for our crews but still, they end up calling us at night telling us the front desk cannot find the reservation.

Not the best you can get for you money in Anchorage”
I rented a room with breakfast included. Breakfast consisted of granola bars and packaged muffins. They also offered oatmeal packs which over half the 2 weeks I stayed there were unavailable. Very disappointing not to be considered breakfast included. Also the woman working there Elsie or something like that was very rude. She was very frustrated over a new sales program that she over and over again told me how they had not received enough training on. I just had surgery and was in a lot of pain and was very patient with her but after the third or fourth time she snapped at me I told her it was not my fault she was frustrated with a new system and didn't need to treat me like that. I will mention the rest of the staff was very kind to me. My suggestion is the Clarion suites downtown. Unless you need a stove, it has everything that extended stay has plus an amazing breakfast buffet included plus a pool. And its the same price!

The room was okay, but no coffee, cups, kitchen utensils were provided. The room smelled like smoke. A homeless individual was seen hanging out in the elevator. The front desk clerk told me she wanted to scream because the hotel check in software kept freezing on her. Next time I’ll spend a few extra bucks elsewhere for a more comfortable experience.

I was booking another night and even though I gave the front desk lady my booking number, she still got angry and made me pack up everything just because it didn't show up on her end of things. Also, parking lot is disgusting. Trash everywhere

What was I thinking!!!”
When I first booked I thought it was close to downtown (it is but kinda sketchy to walk in area although I did walk it twice). And how bad could it be, we the front of the building was a mess and dirty the hotel it’s self has seen better days. The free breakfast was granola bars and muffins with coffee and the only other close walking distance was Mc’ds! The room was clean but besides the bed being remade every day that was about the only thing maid service did. The front desk staff was nice.So seriously if all you want is a place to sleep then I wouldn’t recommend.

No rooms were available agoda overbooked, emailed to cancel explaining such been getting the run around. Call and they say email customer support, email customer support and they say call. Id be wary and call ahead before booking just to double check availability next time the trusted booking agency gets it.

Not worth it”
I thought I got a good deal for my reservation. It was not. The customer service was okay. The room was bad. There was still hair in the bathroom sink and shower. The bed had thin white sheets so I could see the pee stains through them. I didn’t notice until the morning that there was hair on my bed. The chairs were disgusting looking. I didn’t even trust the cleanliness of the dishes to use them. I forgot to grab a drink with my order from the restaurant around the corner so I asked for the vending machine. Completely empty. Those were the big things. The bed is very uncomfortable and I woke up with a sore back. Just was not worth the money. I should have spent the extra $20-$40 to get a nicer stay.

I asked two months ago for a first floor room. I was told I would have it. I was even assigned a room number. I was placed on th Ed g TGI bird floor. I was forced to go to another hotel and pay for both rooms each night. I was in Anchorage in 2018 when they had a major earthquake and was terrified of being above the first floor.

The place is full of bed bugs. Staff for day shift is rude as fuck. Doesn't have fully stock kitchen as say on web site. Fidges old as fuck an make noises. Once again lots of bed bugs not recommended

Steer Clear!”
Arrived with temporary state issued ID and was refused my reservation. Desk clerk was very busy and impersonal. Hotel Manager was downright rude individual who appeared to be more interested in showing that SHE was in charge than providing hospitality. She was down right hostile to me and my family and lied to me about the policies of other hotels in the area. I went to another establishment I had stayed in before and was able to check in with just my credit card and wife's ID.
