I stay here quite a bit . The airport is within eyesight. The rooms are immaculate. The staff is super. Prices are in line with others here in Juneau. Nice clean laundry room. A quick ten minutes walk to several restaurants. Wish the swimming pool was still open. And there's no shuttle service. Breakfast is pretty lame. Still my favorite.

Noisy”
We stayed here one night with my 5 yo and we were next to some very loud travelers. At midnight we finally called the front desk to ask them to address the noise because I was keeping us all awake. The front desk came up and asked them to be quiet, but after about 10 minutes, they were screaming and punching things again. I’m sure there were drugs or alcohol involved. We were not far from the front desk so I am sure they could here them yelling, slamming doors, and carrying on all night. When I addressed it at checkout, all the employee said was “I’m sorry that happened.” Would not recommend a stay here unless you have some good earplugs.

no longer have a shuttle to pick you up from the airport. They told me they had a freezer facility for fish when I booked, when I arrived they told me they no longer had a freezer. Had to carry 250# of fish back to the airport and find other arrangements. I have been staying there 14 yrs. will not go back.

They just want your money. The staff was rude at the reception. No customer service ethics. Wasted my 134 dollars hard earned money..no service wanted taxi for airport in morning asked reception to organise wasn't done nearly missed my flight ..hope I had never stayed there ..regretting it ...

My prescription medicine was stolen, no amenities, not even a packet of coffee or creamer. It's cheap, but you get what you pay for.

Not as advertised”
This was a very disappointing stay. The pictures online are not of this hotel. It does not have a hot tub, even though there is a picture of one. It is also advertised at a non-smoking hotel and when I got to my room it reeked of cigarette smoke. I went to the front desk and was informed that that was the only room available and it was a smoking room. Another odd thing, there aren't any ice machines. The room I stay in was filthy. There was black strands of hair in the shower and an outline of where a bar of soap previously sat. The carpet was sticky and stained. The only positive thing was that I arrived off of the ferry at 3 am and they allowed me into my room for a $25 fee.

Staff wasn’t even helpful in anyway. I was unaware of this stay due to my first booking being said they could change the dates and then came the next day just for them to say they took my money and there’s nothing they could do about it….. so I’m very disappointed with the staff and them not fully fulfilling what they told me as being a regular guest for them too. It honestly sucks.

Do Not Recommend”
The Exended Stay is in a Prime location if you are flying in or out of the Juneau Airport and need a place to stay. It's an easy walk to get to the airport. Other than that, it is way overpriced for what you get, and the rooms were not up to par on cleanliness. Also, there is no airport shuttle provided to and from the ferry terminal. The Super 8 is less expensive, the rooms are nicer, and they do provide shuttle service.

This hotel is old and needs a complete overhaul. The facilities are all broken in one from, no maintenance, pool was closed with no warning The breakfast is a joke it’s just coffee and granola bars. It is located 10 miles from downtown, just across the street from the airport, so plan wisely.
