Hands down most beautiful, experiential stay you can have in the area. In terms of comparable properties- there are none. The superb attention to detail starts in the gorgeous marble lobbies, and ends with the $10,000 heated, motion sensing toilet. Can not stress how perfectly appointed the suites are- red velvet and beautiful wood throughout.... Alan Faena- you are a legend.

Hello, we stayed in Faena from Jul 16th to Jul 20th , check in experience was good , restaurants are good. But the rooms are not great. There was a water leak from roof through AC vents, when we reported this to Starr they mentioned it that was condensation issue, I had my parents living next to our room they never had this issue. When I spoke to a guy from concierge , the response they gave me is this is normal. Never expect a response from a 5 star hotel staff that this is normal. I have stayed in multiple 5 star places in Miami beach but no one gave me such a response. Never wanna stay here and tell the same for rest of my friends and family.

This is my fourth time staying at the Faena. The hotel is still beautiful and the location is perfect. The rooms are extremely clean, but the sofa and curtains were showing wear. The balcony furniture was new and nice, and there was a coffee maker in the room this time, there was not one in the past. Los Fuegos restaurant was excellent for breakfast and lunch, and the wait staff couldn’t have been better. There seems to have been a change in the pool and beach staff philosophy because there was no water provided like past trips. We were there when hurricane preparation began so service fell apart at that point. Few beach chairs, towels etc. and basically watching the hotel being broken down for storm preparation. We were scheduled to stay from Wednesday to Monday, but on Friday we were told we had to check out on Sunday. We thought all the hotels were closing but later found out that was not the case. It is still a lovely hotel with a great location, but this was not our best visit

Great time at Faena. Check in was easy. Appreciate no added fees, resort charges etc. room was clean and turn down service wonderful. Pool and beach access were great. Loved the drinks and pool bar menu. Valet attendants always smiling and helpful. Definitely will be back!

Extras galore”
Cons: We had 3 teens and 2 adults traveling with us and booked a junior suite online through agoda. I called the day before to verify our reservations and was told that the room did not accommodate 5 people. There were multiple back and forth calls with the reservation specialist Gustavo. First callback outlined an option to purchase another room at a discount even though the online reservation said 5 could fit in the suite - this was NOT an acceptable option. Then Gustavo came back a few hours later and said they would upgrade us to a 2 bedroom suite with a private butler at no additional charge. This was a way better option. The other cons were that everything was pretty pricy - room service, restaurant onsite, other services (eg spa, fitness classes) and the fitness center had limited hours. Pros: everything else - perfect location, excellent services setting up beach or pool chairs, food was delicious, staff was extremely attentive, plus so many pampering extras - $$$ was with it

Were not told that the Swimming Pool was closed!”
We arrived and were told at check-in that the pool would be closed during our 4 day - 3 night day stay. I called the day before we arrived to confirm or room reservations and again to confirm our dinner and play reservation, neither time did anyone tell me that the pool was closed and will be during our entire stay. The staff was unprofessional and you could that they were not managed well. We went to the beach and sat on some chairs and were told they were reserved...we went to the bar "The Living Room" and sat down in some chairs and were told they were reserved. We felt like second class citizens..even though we rented a ocean view suite. They were out to maximize their profits at the expense of their hotel guests. They need to better manage their staff and realize that service is everything! Room was great and the play was very entertaining....

Great art and design however not a great design functionally for a hotel. eg lots of area in the room but not a chair to relax in for a couple especially given the design of the foyer , walk in wardrobe great idea but little space for the suitcases to be stored in. In addition, the bar and restaurants were booked out on arrival on the first night and were offered room service as a substitute. Given the location and cost of the hotel not really good enough for tired international travellers. Staff had numerous attempts at finding our bags on arrival while sitting at reception. All basics of hotel service one expects as a given. In addition, the service at the restaurant beside the bar was poor. Very surprised. Theatre show was excellent but dinner was delayed and offered free glass to make up for it. Bar area beside the out door bar - I had to approach the staff for a juice as you were ignored unless seated at the bar.
