One night=2000 baht? Even 500 is too much!!”
We arrived late in the night. The next morning we had the worst breakfast of our life.
The rooms are very dark. The small towel in the bathroom was stinky. The night was pretty cool but only a very small blanket was provided and no sheets, so I was not able to sleep because of the cold. In the morning my girlfriend received a call from her working place and we had to check out immediately and go back to Bangkok. As we booked three nights, the owner made us pay two nights without using the hotel, but he didn‘t accept any international credit cards and no thai debit card! He wanted only cash, so because we didn‘t have enough cash with us, we had to go to the closest ATM (more than 10 km. far away). Fortunately we have a car, otherwise...!!!While I was collecting my heavy luggage from the room, ( and nobody helped me), I send my girlfriend to pay the bill and when she came back the owner didn‘t give her any received, so I send back her to ask for it. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK!!!

Very helpful and kind people”
The rooms are separate cottages set up 20-40 feet apart; quiet, private
A pretty place right on the riverbank of the Petchaburi River. The dining/lounging area is very uniquely designed, nice gardens, and a large covered patio, with a small swimming pool. The river is right there for freshwater swimming, so the pool looks like it is more for children.
They have a couple very large guest rooms that would be fun for a group; one room sleeps 17. The other units are separate cottages up on stilts. They are spaced apart from one another, have good AC and private bathrooms, and are neatly constructed of wood. Each has a little porch on which we dined on their home made Thai food, made nit noy spicy for the farang. We stayed for only one night because I was looking for a bicycle to ride and he only had small, children's bikes - so I moved on to another resort where I know they have mt bikes. The couple who run the place are very accommodating. He gave me a ride into town, Kaeng Krachan, 20 km away, and patiently took time to show me where certain things were and let me shop a bit. He then procured a motorbike for me to rent - since we could not find a bicycle.
If it weren't for the night of karaoke, a new years party, that several guests had on a Saturday night, we would have had a peaceful evening right on the river. Its important to note that the couple regrets that incident - they had no idea that the DJ would be so stubborn about turning his sound system down. The terrible singing ended around 11 PM, so it did not interfere with our sleep. I think he knows now that this is not conducive to the usual traveller there. He does have to rent to locals too, and probably did not anticipate such a loud system (it was huge! and totally unnecessary), but I think he learned an important lesson. He has rafts to take down the river - showed me where he puts in upriver and then you float down to his place right alongside the Petchaburi River.
