Great stay ”
I stayed here during the tropical storm Pabuk and throughout the whole stay everybody was always polite and helpful and took great care of us. Would definitely like to come again to see this beautiful resort in good weather condition.

Exceptional”
Beautiful location, clean garden, helpful and very friendly staff, great breakfast buffet. Beach with less waves, clean Pool with Bar. Free Shuttle service to Fishermans Warf or to Chaweng. You can also rent Motorbikes to be more flexible. Very quiet surrounding (except some noise nearby the Restaurant).

Comfortable accommodations ”
Great Wi-Fi, comfortable bed and very friendly staff. Property was a bit worn and the facilities were not sparkling clean. The area was quiet and a little bit far from the action. Must have transportation to get around.

Run down.”
Difficult review as this would have been a nice hotel once and covid shutdown hasnt helped. Needs a reno as very tired. Aircon not working properly, no exterior lights working, toilet blocked and door lock not working properly examples of issues.

Very disappointed”
We were there for 4 days 3 night with 1 toddler and 1 infant 2 weeks ago at the Beach front pool villa (there are only a few beach front villas), first, the first few beach front villas are completely surrounded by brushes and trees, barely can see the sea, besides that there r thousands of ants and houseflies, is really not nice esp when you have kids, i have to mention that there are only 2 beachfront villas can named beachfront cos those have nothing block infront of your villa. I called the reception to explain there r a lot of dead ants in the small pool (in our villa) and many around us, and i could see the villa next to us (which is unblock and no tress and brushes at all) if they can move us to the villa next to us and we are paying for the same category, the answer from the reception without checking is NO we cant. seriously NOT HELPFUL AT ALL NO EFFORT. Food is terrible and only one restaurant there, really BAD..DONT GO!

Thoroughly Relaxing Four Night Stay”
The hotel is located at Mai Nam only 20 minutes from the Koh Samui airport. As other reviewers mention the beach is quite small with coarse sand but the ocean front pool is well sized with obligatory sunken bar and well maintained garden surrounds. Our roomy sunset villa had great views, a short hike up the hill from pool and restaurant, but we never used the buggy car service needing exercise after great breakfasts and meals. The other villas that could be recommended would be the waterfront ones (#313 to 322) with two adjoining villas per shared plunge pool, especially the odd numbered ones. The one-on-one, hands on cooking class was great value and informative even for someone with fair experience with Thai cooking. The enormous meal that I prepared was served at the conclusion. The ocean in front of the hotel is well sheltered so good use was made of the free to use kayaks. All-in-all good value and similar prices for food and beverage as other 4 to 4.5 star Thai resorts.

Gorgeous resort hotel”
What a great place to stay when visiting Koh Samui. Situated in Mae Nam, it's set back from the road in a quiet location, with its own beach. The greenery and villas dotted around give it a real resort feel. The staff are very friendly and always happy to help. The restaurant has gorgeous beach views, and it's a great place to sit on the comfy sofas in the bar next door and watch the sun go down. I would definitely recommend Fairhouse Villas.

oasis of calm”
We enjoyed our time at Fair House very much and wish we could have stayed longer. Being at Mae Nam is not a problem because you can get a free shuttle bus into Chaweng 3 times a day. We preferred the peace and quiet of Mae Nam and only went to Chaweng to shop or eat. The beach is lovely but very gritty and hard on the feet. The villas are really lovely as they are spacious and have a huge balcony and bathroom as well. Everything you need is provided, including internet. The staff are helpful and friendly.

My experience”
My husband and me chose Koh samui for our honeymoon and we're glad we selected the best resort in the island - Ban Laem Sai resort. We arrived earlier at the hotel and fortunately the staff let us check in. We got a beautiful garden villa , with an amazing bathroom and a little sitout where we would have our evening tea. The entire ambience is so beautiful and the staff are so friendly , you feel so warm and feel like home ! The Pandanus Spa was just out of this world - the thai massage is amazing and so relaxing ! We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at the resort. Thank you BAN LAEM SAI :)

Amazing Resort”
Fair House Villas and Spa is an absolutely spectacular resort. We stayed in a Sunset Suite on New Years Eve. The accommodation was absolutely amazing. The room was spacious with a large deck overlooking the bay. There was a large jacuzzi tub on the deck. The staff were friendly and courteous. Since we were staying on New Years Eve,the hotel restaurant was closed for dinner as they were having a large New Years Eve gala (4100 bht). Since we did not want to attend the gala, we had to hire a taxi to take us into town so we could eat. But, this was the only downfall. At the stroke of midnight, fireworks were lit off by our resort and all the other resorts along the bay. Lanterns were also released. We were able to watch all of the festivities (including the resort's gala) from our deck. It was an absolutely beautiful evening and one I will never forget! Also, one of my sons wanted to head over to Koh Pha Ngan for the Full Moon Party for New Years Eve. The staff assisted him in securing his transportation to and from the island. He arrived back at the resort with memories of a lifetime!

Excellent ”
We went to Koh Samui at the start of Novemeber which is the start of the rainy season we found out (only rained 3/12 days though). We stayed at the Fair House for 4 days at the start of our trip. The Hotel is situated at the end of a 1km dirt road from the main road. I think there are probably better locations in Maenam to stay if you like more choice for eating out and an actual beach to relax on. The beach outside the resort you can really on use at low tide. We orignally stayed in a Spa Villa which was very adequate great bathroom and a nice little pool/spa out the back. However we had been eyeing off the suites which are situated higher up on a hill and requested to transfer to one for our 2 remaining nights. In our opinion the suites are alot better than the villas the room area was bigger, view amazing looking over the whole bay and the ability to have a spa/jacauzzi on the balcony of your suite. The suite also had a superiour audio visual set up as well. Only downsides to the suite was they are up a bit of a hill and quite a few stairs so it might be a struggle for elderly people, but the staff frequently take people up and down the resort in golf carts. The other downside is when we were staying there a new resort is being constructed next door behind the suites so its a bit noisy during the day, but it never really bothered us and you can hear any noise inside the room.

this place was awesome”
Pleasantly surprised by this place. Its a beautiful romantic resort on a gorgeous beach, we had a room with ocean view and a Jacuzzi tub on the deck (HIGHLY recommend). The garden rooms were nice, however no view and seemed a little more crowded. We were on the hill overlooking the resort and ocean and it felt very private and secluded. Took a Jacuzzi bath overlooking the ocean morning and evening. Loved the pool area and swim up pool bar, and the breakfast buffet was the best of our trip. I am extremely picky and selective with hotels for vacations and do a ton of research. I highly recommend this place (was the best hotel of our trip) and would definitely return! It's about 20 minutes from Chaweng, however they have a shuttle and it was worth it being out of the chaos (we also stayed in Chaweng at a more expensive hotel and wished we had booked longer at Fair House Villas).

Relaxing, peaceful & convenient ”
Greeted by wonderful hostess. Upgraded as our room was being refurbished at the time. Very peaceful at end of the busy strip but close enough to walk to restaurants etc. Enjoyed the walk down the beautiful beach. Hotel had own beds and space on beach - felt very private compared to the other hotels along. Felt safe, left shoes out all day. Lovely sand and sea. Wonderful scenery and very clean. Efficient staff. Best place we stayed in on Koh Samui island. Would definitely return.

Lovely Villas ”
the service was excellent and i love the size and cleanliness of the villa. the beach was just a stones throw away. the pool was a good size and a great place to chill. food was nice and the breakfast was a pretty good spread. it is away from the hussle and bussle of the streets so i found it really relaxing. location wise, it was about 15mins away from the main town. i would definately recommend this villa for anyone who is coming to samui. the price is also reasonable with very friendly staff.

Fair enough. Peaceful and relaxing.”
We recently stayed at Fair House for three nights. We were given a semi-detached garden villa next to the restaurant and pool. True to the photos, stylishly decorated with a great bathroom with large bathtub, I was however initially a little disappointed to see smeared glass, a stained sofa and scratched floor on arrival. On first impressions from the ferry pier to Fair House, it is far from the picture island paradise painted by other reviewers. The road around the island is perhaps more accurately described as an extended tropical industrial estate with some restaurants and spas thrown in. Maenam itself and the road leading to Fair House is strewn with litter, derelict buildings and half constructed resorts. Anyway, the hotel itself has very well maintained grounds and it is exceptionally easy to forget about the environmental destruction of Samui whilst lounging near the pool listening to the sea. The swimming pool water is fresh and not over clorinated, it never gets too busy and it's even possible to do laps in the morning or throughout the day. The barmen are pretty cool guys and the staff in the restaurant and on reception very friendly.I have to say that we found the restaurant food to be no better than what you can buy in one of the more common road side restaurants, but more than ten times the price with service charge and tax on top. The white wine served by the glass - there was only one whilst we were there - was really also quite poor. Having said this, we thought the breakfast represented good value for money and the setting is just wonderful in the morning. A really great way to start the day! On the whole, Fair House is a beautiful resort with great staff that nevertheless fails to hit the mark on a number of points.
