Wonderful stay at Fairholme Manor”
We had a delightful 2 nights stay at Fairholme Manor in Oct. Sylvia and Ross were wonderful hosts and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. We requested for a portable heater at 2am as the room was chilly and Ross got us the heater and stayed on to ensure it was working. Breakfast was really wholesome (granola, fruits) and interesting concoction of filo egg smoked salmon (day 1) and a egg tartine with back bacon (day 2). The place felt safe and we got to see bucks, birds and the next door Government house was worth a visit. Will stay again if we are ever again in Victoria.

Probably the best place we've ever stayed”
We just returned from our stay in Room #2 and think they deserve a 10, not a 9.7. It was perfect. Our room was gigantic, spotless and sumptuously decorated, including tastefully arranged vases of fresh flowers, a fireplace, a gigantic tub and fluffy robes. Breakfast was fantastic and different every morning. In addition to fresh fruit, yogurt, fredhly baked scones and beads, homemade jelly and homemade granola there would be a main course, such as eggs benedict, a frittata, blueberry pancakes, etc. The owners, Sylvia and Ross, were incredibly gracious hosts to all the guests. Time and again we heard them tecommending restaurants, shopping and activities. Sylvia is the chef and her published cookbooks attest to her skill. Usually after staying in a place for a few days, we're ready to move on. Not so at this place. We hated the thought of being thrown back out into the world after this all too brief taste of paradise. Book a room here. It's a must.
