Beautiful Beach House in Durban”

What a wonderful find! It was recommended by a friend from Durban, and we really enjoyed ourselves. The room was luxurious and bathroom was huge. Very good restaurants along the road, which is great for tired road-trippers. 15-min drive from the airport as well, a huge plus for our early morning flight.

Disorganized ”

The hotel wasn't terrible, but it was disorganized. Our room was clean and tidy, but the downstairs part to walk through it had a bad odor. Also, parking was disorganized and when we arrived we were met by one of the staff who immediately apologized for being the only one there and then awkwardly showed us our room. Also, the booking I made didn't account for the girl I was traveling with and the owners again awkwardly asked for us to pay for the additional person, making this not such a great value. I didn't mind paying, but would have been nice if the price was more clear. This was after I had ordered my breakfast and then they forgot to make it. Also, the gate remote only worked if you got really close to the gate controller. It was just generally disorganized.

Had a lovely stay for 4 nights but left with a very negative feeling after we were chased out of the room while we were finalising our packing for long haul flights back to Europe. Not a good experience when you've booked out 3 rooms and go 10 minutes over checkout time. For that reason, I would not recommend this B&B.

Had a lovely stay with our family for 4 days. Good view, rooms were clean and the staff making breakfast were very friendly. Unfortunately we left with a very negative experience as we were made to feel like we needed to evacuate the premises on the last day. Pity as it completely changed our perception of the place.

everything was great”

firstly got my booking dates wrong. when we phoned fairlight to change they had no rooms at fairlight but put us across the road at one of their other units. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge, kitchen, wooden deck overlooking the sea, all at the same price. what a fantastic place and such great hosts. will recommend to anyone.

Waren 2 Nächte in der Honeymoon Suite. Schöne Aussicht auf das Meer, Zimmer sauber, Gaststätte in der Nähe. Nettes Personal. Immer wieder gerne.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt mit gutem Frühstück und freundlichem, hilfsbereitem Personal. Der Pool im Garten sorgte an den heißen Tagen für Abkühlung. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, trotz der Nähe zu Durban und dem Flughafen.

das haupthaus ist technisch veraltet (z.b.ferseher) wertet ab. es sollte möglich sein zumindest eine flasche wein zu kaufen um sie am balkon zu trinken.

Wij werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar met een glas wijn. Onze kamer met het grote balkon had een prachtig uitzicht op de zee.
