The first thing when u hear about fairmont is beautiful, pricey, and picturesque, and yes its true. Its like they own the whole lake louise, view from the hotel room was exceptional. I book the lowest which i assume the standard room for 400 bucks. Expect to pay parking seperately and the 400 bucks only for the view. Don't expect anything from the room.

Great for seeing Lake Louise - an excellent way to see the Lake and the surrounding area. Day trippers queue for parking and see it at its busiest but staying at the Chateau gives you a real advantage. Rooms were good, restaurants were good, staff were friendly.

Good Hotel & Location ”

Room is good & clean we can see lake louise from room. Staff is so nice and helpful when we give him a tips staff refuse to it and said tips already included.

Enjoyed my stay but beware of the credit card charges put on your card”

My friends and I stayed with Fairmont from the 11 Dec to 12 Dec and we enjoyed the time we had there. Awesome view and the rooms were clean and staff were friendly. However, beware of the charges posted to your credit card by the hotel. They charged an extra night of room charge, despite me pre-paying for the room. A couple more unknown charges which belonged to another guest was put into my credit card. After sorting out with the hotel, they proceed with the refund and I suffered exchange rate losses which they have no intentions of compensating. What amazes me is that after sending me the refund, they once again charged my card another 2 times the amount they refunded. I am clueless what this hotel is doing and needless to say I will incur more exchange rate losses at my own expense.

Fantastic location. ”

Great location. I prefer lake Louis in the winter as not too crowded. Stayed 2 nights .Good all round service friendly staff . Activities in the winter, ice skating walks along the lake ,skiing, and sleigh rides plus lots of other things including shops!

Stay here if your thinking about somewhere else”

We went during the ski season. I know it's expensive and the only issue is it doesn't end everything in the hotel is expensive breakfast buffet is $32 per person plus taxes, plus tip. But the staff are amazing the hotel looks amazing the lake and the mountain everything it's great. My favourite hotel!

Living there is like living in heaven. Hotel is surrounded by the lake and mountains. Color of the water is turquoise and unique. Property well maintained. Staff has great attitude. A once in a lifetime experience. Help me to restore peace and relaxation

Everything about the Chateau is grand and beautiful, with amazing views to match. Our room was very clean and comfortable and the dining options at the Chateau were delicious. Staff are very attentive and friendly.

Girls Trip to Lake Louise”

Amazing to wake up and walk the lake early, and we were able to enjoy breakfast in the Gold Club ...and get priority seating for drinks outside. Would love to go back!

Nice View, Great Location”

Everything is almost perfect except when we were using hair dryer in the room. Electricity went down. I gotta walk down to have them fixed. That made me feel like an old hotel because they should have a kind of system to detect what goes wrong in customers' rooms.

the location is superb; the staff unfailingly friendly and everything very clean. But, you need to be careful about expectation management. The executive lounge was closed for refurbishment. The health and fitness centre was closed and the swimming pool was closed - alas, we had no advance warning of any of these. Our room was upgraded and we were offered a free shuttle to Banff where the swimming pool was still open. To their credit. the staff worked hard in each case to sort things but it would be better to prevent problems occurring rather than trying to rescue the situation afterwards.

we had a complimentary upgrade to "gold" class, which gave us the most amazing lakefront room on the 7th floor and included a lovely breakfast and pre-dinner canapes in the gold lounge, free of charge.

The rooms are expensive but the views make it worth the cost. Deefiniteely a bucket list place. Staff were great

Very impressed with the food variety on site, staff, comfort of the rooms, how well run everything is. The on site equipment rental was awesome!

The day that I check in, front desk offer me to upgrade the suite soon it was worth to did that because it included breakfast , parking and stay on the gold floor.
