We are group of three and we hardly find hotel with triple room in Kunming or rooms that allow extra bed. We were glad that we found Fairyland Hotel Kunming Tuodong Branch which provided us big and clean triple room at very reasonable price. And the location is not far away from town center.

Perfect hotel for Kunming ”
The hotel is new and very clean. The rooms are very clean too, spacious and nice with a clean bathroom and the best comfortably bed in China. The staff don't speak a lot of English but they are helpful and friendly. (They did our laundry for free). I recommend this place to everybody who want to be a king in Kunming.

I stayed here only 1 night because we have to move to another city but we really feel great on this hotel even lobby and entrance look small but inside is not too small. This hotel has elevator. Room exactly right on photo shown when I booked online. It's clean and wind prove. They provide free LAN internet if you bring your laptop. It's a bit hard to find where to eat, I have to walk back to Jinbi Square direction to find restaurants which mostly locate near Jinbi Square. One good thing for this hotel is on main road, it's easy to catch taxi at front of hotel to airport or other places.

Standard hotel, no frills. Ok for a night. walls are thin so better hope for quiet neighbors...Staff friendly, value for money. The bigger business's room is good when travelling as an adult and 2 kids because has 1 dbl bed and 1 single bed. Chinese breakfast is horrible, even for Chinese standards. No wifi, only internet cable, free if use (requires deposit). Windows need better maintainance, one almost came off upon opening. Location central. Closest airport shuttle is at kunming hotel at walking distance, at fairyland reception u can buy airportbus tix. Often taxis don't want to use meter when going to airport unless u threaten to call their company because it's illegal not to use the meter. Only thing is that you would have to speak chInese to do that....

For a business hotel this place was better than expected. Is on the main thoroughfare so catching a bus is not a problem. It's clean and the room appointments are very good to excellent. It has a dedicated drinking water faucet, which many places lack.

Around the hotel there are a few places to have tasty food with reasonable price. The problem faced in this area is transport by taxi. It is very difficult to get a taxi for transport.

Very convenient. We arrived Kunming early morning and were able to check in as soon as we arrived - no need to wait until 2 pm. English skill of staff is limited but sufficient to communicate effectively. Some basic knowledge of Chinese will help.

Not too bad overall”
We are on business trip. The room was cleaned everyday which is impressive. The location of the room is a little weird, we have to go through stairs after taking the lift. Breakfast was not included. The bathroom is see-through style, we had some problem with the shampoo dispenser and they didn't fixed it back for the 4 nights we were there. Bed was comfortable but they didn't have extra pillow when we asked. They only had 3 pillows in every room. There were no wifi in the room thus we were at the reception most of the time to use the wifi. Location was okay, there are a few food places around and we took taxi to mostly everywhere which is not too expensive for us. Overall it was a pleasant stay, we just hope they had wifi in the room.

hotel was extremely smokey although we requested for non-smoking rooms. discovered that just next to hotel was a food stall selling grill items. as hotel has an open concept, smoke gets into the building. Some complaints from friends who shared rooms - toilet has glass panels (no privacy)
