Falcon Naama Star is ideal for the budget conscious traveller. The rooms are big and bright, clean with very comfy beds. This is my third stay, each time I've been in a different part of the hotel and all satisfactory. It's within five minutes walk of the main road for public transport or walk five minutes in the other direction and you're in Naama bay with all its beaches, bars and shops.
Falcon Naama Star is the perfect place for travellers on a budget. It's a no-frills hotel, but is clean, safe and friendly. I've stayed here twice and both rooms were basic but spacious. Breakfast is the same, minimal choice but buffet style and edible, so you can eat enough to see you through the day. The omelette station is a must, where you'll quickly get your order, cooked while you wait. Two minutes walk takes you to the main road where the buses are plentiful, and five minutes in the opposite direction is the centre of Naama bay, where you can shop, eat, or just sit in a cafe and watch the world go by. The sea front and the hotel's private sandy beach is also in this area. Don't stay here if you're expecting luxury and gourmet cuisine, but you can't go wrong if you want a friendly stay in a central location at a bargain price.
I stayed here for 2 nights. For reference, late checkout is available for an additional fee of 1000 EGP and is allowed until 6 P.M. Uniquely, this place has no elevator, which means you have to carry your luggage up the stairs, which is inconvenient. When I checked in, the desk staff had someone help us with our luggage, but he asked for a tip. I didn't understand why since I come from a culture where tipping is not common. The room was nice, but I didn't quite get if it truly was a garden view. Of course, most visitors to Sharm El Sheikh come to swim, and I did too, so it wasn't a major concern. The bathroom was spacious, but it felt like a communal bath. I went to Kanabish beach both days. When I asked for recommendations for a really nice beach that is free or paid, they recommended this place, and I ended up going. I had a lot of fun and came to appreciate the beauty of the Red Sea. The hotel provides towels, and you just need to show the stamped ticket you get from security to the beach attendant. The hotel's pool was also nice. There is a nice shopping street right outside the hotel.
I had a lovely stay! The staff are wonderful, the food is great and the rooms are clean. Please tip the cleaning team they work very hard to make you happy.

“Falcon on the hill”
Some very good staff, Osama from the restaurant is very good at his job, the hotel lobby barman is great, the reception staff is very competent and not stressed, the 2 entertainment guys Abdulaziz and the one with long hair do their best to keep you entertained. The entertainment equipment could do with an upgrade (better darts/dartboard, a decent volleyball). I think only pool view room have a balcony. I was on the otherside of the hotel, my room had a double bed. Cleaning guy was daily, it would be good if they cleaned the floor more often. I was all inclusive. Some nights the restaurant has entertainment which is good, other nights it can be quite empty and quiet. The food is quite repetative. The grill guy who serves the meat is quite moody and seemed quite angry when i asked for more (there isn't really any protein source other than what is served by this guy) and also when i just wanted chicken and not the cheap burger and chips. You won't starve here though. a couple of nights i went down to naama town for food, or along the long strip you see on the way to the hotel (DragonFly noodles were great). I am convinced half of all the people that visit this hotel are crazy, but the staff deal with this very well. There is a place you can get sheesha, and as is nearly everything in sharm, can be negotiable. I've said loads.. I stayed here for very good value, i don't know if I am allowed to say price, but with flights, taxis to and from, 7 nights all inclusive, travel insurance, I didn't even spend over three hundo. I did shop around individually though and believe i got a great price. The hotel taxi seemed very expensive when i inquired. Weather was great, and i got no mosquito bites. There are a fair few flys near the childrens pool though.
