Nice place for a couple days - expensive food & drinks in restaurant - wifi weak”
This place looked like a dump when we were coming in, thinking we were getting yet another craphole, but after being led upstairs and through a dark hallway to get to our room, we were surprised it was as nice as it was. Clean room and good bathroom (although it's open outside so we found lots of insect (or something) poo all over the floor that was easily washed away. Staff is nice, one lady speaks good English. Wifi is kinda crappy and basically didn't exist in our room at all, sometimes it worked but was very slow and other times it didn't work at all. The restaurant downstairs is too expensive and not great quality - two coffees were 120 baht and the sandwiches (90 baht I think) were basically just bread with very little filling. I'd recommend staying here for the price is good and having the tour desk there is really nice (we stayed for a visa run).

Quick stay while stopping over before taking the ferry. Had a huge cockroach type thing in the room (not a big deal) rooms were still clean and a decent place to have a quic layover. They set up everything for the next day's shuttle to the ferry. Washrooms were ensuite, but are outside.

Fame tour is just below the guesthouse. Just a night stopover to connect morning boat to the island like koh Tao, phangan and Samui . Basic room but for the price you pay can't ask for more!!!

I stayed only for one night. Guesthouse was clean. The location was pretty good, very close to the train station, night market and 7/11. Staff were friendly and helpful. They also run a tour agency downstairs

I arrive late at midnight but staff waited for me to check in so i appreaciated that very much unfortunately the water didnt flow the next morning due to some maintenance by government and i was not informed. Parking space for motocycle infront of guesthouse.

Located close to a railway station on the main road. Offers exactly what you need. Vety helpful staff but most meals and drinks on offer are on the higher price scale for Thailand. Excellent pick up facility for morning ferry transfer. A good sized room, clean bedding and towels. Toilets and basix shower share same room. No improvements or invesent made since last here 6 months ago, overall good value for money for basic accommodation

Nice one night stay”
Needed a one night stay because I was late for ferry to Koh Tao. The room was clean, staff very polite,they offer breakfast early in the morning before 6.00, you can also buy ferry tickets at hostel and they include taxi to the piers. All in all very good experience.

The owner can communicate well in English and he is really nice and helpful, the whole place appearance could mislead your thoughts but it’s really nice, big rooms and has everything you need. Hot water, clean towels, soap etc

It was a cute little spot, and our room was basic but clean. The staff at the bar downstairs can sell Ferry tickets for nearby islands, give you the wifi password and a beer altogether. Decent for the price.

They efficiently get you anywhere you want to go. The staff is great, food is great and the location is 5 minutes from the train station. We’ve gone there for years. The rooms are basic but comfy.

The room is ok. Has balcony, which is plus. You got towels and water. Fun was strong and pretty enough. But toilets are Thai style, with no flash.

We stayed for one night only, so we looked for a place close to the train station. The staff was friendly, they replied to our request on whatsapp and let us check in late night. The room was basic but seemed clean. Little overpriced for the quality.

OK for short stay”
Easy to locate, near to train station (which I didn't use) and vans to/from suratthani (which I did use). No wifi signal in room (3rd floor), but strong signal at the restaurant. Staff are friendly, especially restaurant staff. There is water heater in bathroom but I didn't use it bcos hot water not necessary considering the weather. Streetfood is a must-do in the evenings, it's just round the corner at Thanon Krumluang.

Nice place for layover between train and Island”
Stayed in Chumpon for 3 days here. A simple place with a good breakfast served at the cafe. Rented a motorbike here for a day trip around the area. This place was open for check in early and late (to accommodate the train's arrival). I would stay here again.

Cheap easy to get to”
One of the great no frills Thailand hotels you get a room, a bed, a shower, everything you need on your way to and from Koh Tao add to that they have a good enough travel agent and restaurant, how could you go wrong

You get what you pay for”
Fine For the price and a quick stay of 1 night, not more. A bit odd:you get a seperate entrance to the rooms that is accessible directly from the streets with no door. Bathroom was somewhat dirty, with a few tiny ants decorating some of the walls. For transit to or from the Islands still good value for the the money. Note: ask the staff to issue receipts for any payments made, including key deposits. we were missing a receipt for the deposit. at checkout, the lady at the desk claimed that we deposited bht 100, while we actually had paid 400. we got all the full amount back without any no problems, but culd have saved 5 minutes of discussions had we had something written.

Convenient, cheap, helpful staff”
One night in a basic but clean fan room. Great assistance from staff when my bank card got blocked to use phone international call. Bus pick up to pier for boat easy.
