I have stayed here twice whilst in Yangon. The staff are great the rooms are fine and I loved the convenient location. Felt very comfortable and welcome during my stay. Only issue is I don't need the breakfast but they generally don't offer the room without. I wouldn't bother staying anywhere else in Yangon

Alright”
Yangon travelers will know that having a nice hotel at acceptable prices is a luxury in Yangon. Family Treasure Inn fulfills the basic needs of a traveler at their affordable pricing by Yangon's standards, even thought their staff service standards still have room for improvement. Best of all was its location, where it is near Chinatown. Streets along Mahabandoola and Anawrahta were very busy with roadside stalls sprung up after 7pm. Highly recommended is this newly opened Sapel Burmese Traditional Foot Spa at Chinatown's 16th Street close to Mahabandoola main road. It is just a few streets away from this hotel. I returned to it many times during my stay for the ambience and 5 star service standards inside the massage place. It is truly something extraordinary from Yangon's unkept and dirty streets, especially a haven compared to the busy Chinatown streets outside. I think all tourists should go try out the place, especially relaxing after a day's tour and walk around downtown Yangon. There is nowhere else u can feel so good in the whole of Yangon!

A highly responsible hotel”
We had booked this hotel because it had very good reviews overall, cheaper than others, and we did not mind shared bathrooms. When we arrived, however, the hotel had a serious problem with the toilet, so they put us up at a three-star, more expensive hotel near Botataung Paya -- one of the places we wanted to visit. To me, this clearly illustrates that Family Treasure Inn is a highly responsible business, which is important to me, and I will stay with them if I revisit Yangon.

Our go-to place to stay in Yangon”
This was our favorite place to stay in Yangon. They have in house travel office & breakfast was good. We stayed there 3 different times while traveling around the country. 2nd floor room had a small balcony.

Had a nice stay”
- good location. Near the market and easy to get a taxi or catch a bus. Lots of local food shops and food stalls. - the family room 102 is more spacious and cleaner than room 103 where we stayed the earlier night. The beds and pillows are soft. - the wifi is slow and not stable while sharing the signal with lots of guests at the same time. The best time to use wifi is after midnight. - the staff are frindly and can speak English. - need more table for breakfast. Will stay here next time I visit Yangon.

A decent spot ”
The set up of it would certainly fit in the 2 star category, but that's about it! The staff was very attentive there, and their breakfast (included) was so amazing! Really, really enjoyed my morning noodles. Additionally, the guys were very nice and took our bags to the room. There's free wi fi, and a booking agency next door, making it easy to explore Yangon.

5 days 3 Rooms”
I ended up staying in 3 of the rooms Family Treasure offers simply because of the way my solo travel and meeting up with friends ended up going. Each room was very clean and the staff was extremely helpful with organizing all of my different check ins and outs. The only bummer was they charged us for dry cleaning the sheets because they said they were tinted pink. The cafe next door is wonderful for working, grabbing a small pastry and coffee. I would stay here again.

Best Guesthouse in Ngwe Saung”
Stayed here for 19 nights with my wife in a bungalow. Could not have been more pleased with all facets of our stay. Room was huge, clean and cool. No wifi, ac or tv but come on, youre on a beach! Great balcony to kick back and read and sip drinks. Really close to the beach and town. Cannot say enough about all the staff, especially Aung. They made our stay so memorable. Delicious and cheap food - try their bbq, and cheap drinks. We loved their rum sours and mojitos. We were treated like family and I truly believe this should be your first choice in Ngwe Saung. If creature comforts are what you want, well youre in the wrong place. If you want an authentic family experience this is the place. Truly one of the best guesthouses/hostels/etc. I have stayed at in over 50 countries. I know Aung will read this and we want to thank you, your dad and all the staff for everything. We hoped they liked their ice treats! Tim and Lisa.

Economical and clean hotel in central position”
Stayed for two nights on arrival in Yangon, this is a new hotel and thus very clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly, speaking good English. Position was great for walking around down town and China town, though not close to pagodas. Overall I would stay again and recommend it.

inflated yangon prices”
This hotel is nothing special, but on the other hand it did offer an ensuite bathroom at a price range where that is not to common. Hotel prices in Yangon are overly inflated and ridiculously expensive compared to the rest of the country, but I suppose if you take that into account this hotel was fine. Central location, friendly front desk staff, air con, tv, ensuite. A very short taxi from the Shwedagon palace, and taxi drivers all offer great prices. This hotel is on a quite street, but a couple blocks down you'll find markets and food stands. Very difficult to find decent restaurants.

Exceptional”
This hotel is situated in the Chinatown area downtown. It is easy to get around by walking or the local bus. It is quiet and very comfortable. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. My husband was a bit ill and they could not have been nicer. Bonus: breakfast is made to order and not a cold buffet.

Kind, clean and quiet”
Pos. good location on the edge of chinatown, clean, quiet, good airco, friendly helpfull personel. Neg. I'd go for a (more expensive)room with window next time. Rooms are relatively expensive, but so are all hotelrooms in Yangon.

I don't like it”
Yangon is not my cup of tea. I regret visiting this city. this hotel located near the market streets, locals split the red saliva everywhere. the whole street n walkway, all stained red. very very not hygienic. noting to visit near by, not tourist friendly food near by. only locals stalls, ppl eat at roadside dusty n smelly places. the best thing we found after walking 20 minutes, KFC at a mall, no fall n spoon given, even we requested for it, they don't have any, u eat by hands. eating using hands is fine for me, but the amazing thing is that, there is no where to wash hands b4 or after eating.

Dear Yoke, Thank you for your review! We read your review with great interest and following your brief visit. The fact is all over the place. We noted that post on wrong place which you have written....
Poor Service, Poor Exchange Rate, Bad Breakfast”
This hotel is overpriced for what you get. The Wifi never worked. I understand that wifi is patchy all over Myanmar, but this was the worst internet access that we had in two weeks. They charge 1200 local currency to 1 USD, which is a 10% service charge that goes right into their pocket. How strange to be charged 10% for using the local currency. We arrived off of an overnight bus at 8am and they charged us an extra fee to check in early even though the room was clean and vacant. The breakfast is a single fried egg that tastes like cheap oil and two pieces of white bread. It was terrible. We stayed here for two nights and then found a MUCH better hotel. I wouldn't stay at the Family Treasure Inn again.

Hotel is located at the downtown and staff are very nice.”
Hotel is nearby a supermarket and not far from Chinatown where is full of restaurants. Especially, Hotel's staff are very nice and not hesitate to support such as facilities, calling a taxi and help us carry luggages even we have to go to the airport in early morning. We hope that will stay here in the next trip certainly. Although, the water pump cannot be worked, staff try to fix it quickly. Thank you and nice to meet staff all.

Cleanliness, comfort but a bit over priced. ”
Enjoyed my stay here. Basic breakfast (fired rice or noodle) but not an issue for me. Room r clean, staff r friendly. Only weakness is the rate a bit high considering the price of guesthouse nearby.

Excellent Stay”
We stayed here for 8 nights in July and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We had the third floor balcony room which was very clean and had everything we could ask for. Good TV, hot water, good air conditioner. Great location in the heart of the city close to good restaurants, stores and the odd bar. Will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Myanmar.

Friendly Staff and clean”
Is a four stories building with no lift, but still alright as the staff will help to carry your luggage for you. The room I stayed no window and small, the pillow are too high and hard. Breakfast menu very simple, only three choices and need to inform them one day in advance which one you like. Dinning area small too. Hotel location is good and very easy to move around. Very friendly staff and helpful too. Clean and things are new and functioning well. Good wifi speed. Can't ask much for the price I paid.
