Slice of heaven by the beach ”
We had a room with a double bed and a single bed. The room had high ceilings, air con, and a fridge which felt luxurious for the price and proximity to the beach. Although we weren’t facing the beach we were about 10 steps away. The other bungalows were close to ours which was ok. The staff were so kind and attentive. I would come back. The area, Chala Kolum, is close to bottle beach and a good spot to explore.

Beautiful spot”
This place is paradise with a beautiful view on the white sand beach and crystal water. The bungalow is basic but has its charm from the outside and you don’t need more than a bed and bathroom/shower. We even had a fridge which was a bonus! The staff is very nice and smily cooking good food and again you can sit and enjoy the view while eating, I can only highly recommend it, very relaxing place.

we good a seafront and we got a side bungalow. but is was still ok, since its situated in one of the most beautiful beaches, everything goes. bfast was super, the staff is lovely and very sweet. they are very helpful. the best smelling laundrey we ever had :)

Full moon party”
Rooms were basic but located right on the beach the doors to the room weren't very secure and no safe in the room but you could store valuables in the safe in the main property. The location of the bungalow was quite and you could enjoy a nice quiet relaxing night with the crashing of waves to keep you company. There are plenty of bars in the town although everything shut at 9. There are cheap taxis to take you to other places on the island. We were staying for full moon and was easy to get to the party but a long journey home waiting for taxis to fill. The staff were friendly but didn't speak much English so couldn't be difficult to communicate. I would stay there again if I wanted a quiet night to relax and unwind.

Wonderful stay”
This place is run by a very nice family, they did everything to make our stay as comfortable as pissible. The rooms are simple, but he, when you stay right on the beach, you dont want to spend too much time in your room anyways. The rooms were clean and they even bought us new pillows when they saw we tried to air the pillows (because of a dust mite allergy). I would definitely come back here again!

beautiful location right on the beach, quiet, bungalow was good but needs some love. room was not cleaned in 3 days we were there, when I asked I was handed a broom. staff we hard to find but friendly. breakfast was expensive for what we were given

I wouldn't recommend it”
The first room that the staff proposed me was dirty, so I refused it Moreover they proposed me a room, instead on the photo it was suppose to be a bungalow Finally I had a bungalow, not so clean but better than the previous room - but it was still not the one of the photo, "because it's a superior one" he told me Initially I booked for one night, secund day I asked for one night more, and they made me pay more than if I had booked on Agoda again (that's the firstI live that, if he told me before I had to pay, I would have book again on Agoda) The staff, didn't clean the room during our days there. No soap and shampoo too. I want to precise that I used to travel in South East Asia and I know their cleanliness standards

It was ok. My gf thought it was very old a dirty though. If you want the old rustic bungalow feel. This is a good place. The beach was ok, nothing special

Great Spot!”
Stayed in a little waterfront hut. Perfect - not big, nothing poncy, just a bed and toilet with a great view - perfectly appropriate for a tiny tropical island. I would stay here again.

Fantasea nightmare”
Positives: - proximity to a beautiful beach Negatives: Family 'hut' (4 persons) located across dusty road (which blew on to your porch) on one side and had a slough on the other - not ocean waterfront. The 'hut' was actually attached to the family residence. They seemed to dump their broken items all around the rear and side of the bungalow. There was a ripped half hammock on the porch, no curtains or screens, ripped bed sheets, mouse droppings all over room upon arrival (including under my pillow one morning), and cockroaches scurrying around at night. We saw no one eat at the kitchen - staff were going down the street for food. Staff were sleeping at the desk while we waited for service on one occasion. Maybe the beach huts are better. Save your money and book elsewhere. Chalok Lam Bay is beautiful though.

Perfect”
Stayed here three nights. I would stay again. It is a simple cottage on the beach. It is cheap; there is nothing fancy or pretentious. Check in and out was very simple and easy. And this place is within walking distance of the outdoor BBQ restaurant!

Disappointing”
Got a bungalow trapped 3 other bungalows and couldn't even breath at night. Too expensive compared to even any resort on bottle beach (in Bottle beach is even less than half the price) and the views is just ok but nothing special. 3 night and no cleaning of the room.

If you are coming to this place you will not be disappointed if you keep in mind the following comments: it is a great location, calm, next to the beach, next to the town, but it is a humble resort with humble accommodation standards... So expect a great place, and a not so great accommodation facilities.

Very expensive for what is it, especially when you compare with some other resort around, not clean.”
Bungalows are very dark inside, you always need light even on the daytime. Not very clean as well, the bathroom was not clean at all, and you need to purchase toilet paper (which I wouldn't care If I didn't pay so much for this accommodation). Resorts around are much nicer and cheaper. The only good thing is the location, directly on the beach

terrible ”
some one did a mistake to my booking and im not sure who's mistake it was but definitely not me. it's either Agoda or hotel management. they decided before 2 hours of check-in that my booked room is not available and they decided to send me an email about it offering to downgrade my booking. at arrival the reception suggested to look for another hotel!! Yes another Hotel!! not sure what kind of customer service it is. add to that the room, toilet is so dirty and not worth to pay a dolar for this hotel, nothing close to the hotel apart from the beach so you need to rent a bikr otherwise you'll stock in the hotel as no taxi will pass by there. definitely not recommended.

Hippie relax”
A primera vista, llegando de noche nos parecio un lugar muy rustico y basico pero con la luz del dia quedamos encantados con la vista y la onda del lugar. La mayoria de los bungalows son un poco basicos pero totalmente ad hoc al entorno hippie y calmado y estan a la orilla de la playa. Tienen aire acondicionado y baño privado y algunos cocinilla y refrigerador. El restoran es de un nivel de precios intermedio pero tiene ricos desayunos y la mejor vista, puedes quedarte todo el dia acostado en las reposeras disfrutando el paisaje. Podrian ser un poco mas baratos pero para nostros valio la pena, hasta alargamos la estadia.

Espectacular”
Realmente es comp estar en el paraiso aunque sin lujos. Bungalow de madera enfrente al mar con tu hamaca y tu baño ( no se necsIta nada mas). Acabafo del bungalow muy justi, ya que tiene muchos agujeros y nos encontramos alguna q otra cucaracha en la habitación. Aunque el global es muy muy positivo. El dueño es majisimo.
