my favorite hotel in Chai-Nat”
the hotel location was pretty good about 5 km from the city downtown but you can find a very good restaurant within the walking distance from the hotel. Staffs were vey helpful and have a good service mind. Breakfast was also good with a reasonable cost. So far I prefer this hotel

Needed booking # to check-in. Though near R1 we did not get awoken by traffic. No kettle only glasses and water. Good restaurant on nearby farm Lane called Frog Kitchen.

Nicer than the pictures”
This is one of the few places that is actually much nicer than it seems online. The cottages are immaculate and everything is new looking and in good repair. The "decor" in the rooms and on the grounds is delightfully quirky and whimsical. The staff (walking about in cowboy outfits) are smiling, pleasant and helpful. For me the location was fine as this was a road trip stopover and it is quite near a major intersection (routes 32 and 1). One does need a car, though, as it is a good 5 km or more to the town. Maybe just 2 km from the Chainat Bird Park though I did not go there. There is a swimming pool and also room service but I did nto try either dso can't report on them. the swimming pool is indoor. The only negative for me was the beds are hard, but this is true almost everywhere in Thailand.

Road Trip Find”
Leaving Bangkok to Chiang Rai in the afternoon, we needed a pit stop and settled on Chainat. Not only did we uncover an amazing place to eat down the road 300m from this hotel, but this hotel is absolutely wonderful. If only it was closer to anything lol, but seriously, if you heading past, do yourself a favour and drop in for a stay. It is all new, very clean, super funky and the staff and super friendly. It was a delight!!!

Beautifully presented resort , eye candy for kids and travellers , feel like your in Disneyland . Good parking easy to find on main highway , and the best restaurant in Chinat is 100 m away . Beds a bit hard and plenty of mozzies around , but would stay again .

Not a good care taker resort”
We had booked 2 rooms. 1. Water tap couldn't balance hot and cold water, this means, you either get extreme hot water or extreme cold water. 2. I had reserved our rooms 3 weeks in advance and had specified required twin beds for both rooms. Ended they gives us double bed for both rooms and told us that all rooms are full??!! - Shouldn't be that they should informed us way in-advance so we can change hotel? No excuse from them which can causes many inconvenient to they customers. Not even can gives us a room with twin beds. 3. Never do booking in this resort again.
