        excellent stay ”

        we stayed two nights, the room was clean, the homestay is 5-10 min away from Beauty Cave and from the ferry by scooter (you have to rent a scooter because there are very few buses). Every morning the local, handmade breakfast is different. The best of the homestay is the owner, he is very nice, talkative, gives good advice and very generous: he cooked for us his favourite instant noodles, offered us beer, took us to see the stars at the sunset point, offered us some Taiwanese specialities when we left. He is really very kind. Only negative point : there is no luggage pick up from the ferry so if you have many big luggage on a scooter it's not easy. accommodation on the island is expensive in general in comparison with the rest of Taiwan
