Once a flourishing palace, this hotel is located in the famous temple town of Ranakpur and provides 18 guestrooms with ethnic furniture. The Fateh Bagh Hotel is 140 kilometers from the airport and 30 kilometers from the railway station. This 5-star hotel is India's first attempt at transplanting a palace that was erected in 1802 AD on the foothills of Aravallis near Jodhpur. In 2002, almost 65,000 pieces of the crumbling palace were transplanted in Ranakpur to become the hotel, which now is set amidst the orchards on the banks of a river. Fateh Bagh Hotel is an ideal destination for travelers who want to experience a forgotten chapter of Rajasthan's history.

Amazing Hospitality @ Fatehbagh, Ranakpur”
Had recently been there with Friends. The entire experience has been one to remember for a lifetime. Special mention of the warmth and courteousness extended by the staff to make your stay comfortable. Mr Devendra and Mr. Rajendra both took real efforts to make us feel at home...100% Must Visit Place.

Beautyfull - best option!”
This hotel was one of the best, we have on our trip through Rajasthan. The staff was very friendly and the rooms and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. Also it wasone of the quiet locations we were. Everything was perfect.
Good location but less variety of foods”
Hotel was nice and staff also the nice, find all rooms are different, but facing problem in choise of foods stuff (Very limited variety)
Beautiful hotel, gardens, pool, dedicated Staff”
The building is beautiful with very tasteful decor. Our room was large, clean, tastefully furnished. Bathroom was clean and bright. The gardens were very pretty and the pool was great. The hotel offered everything we needed, nothing was too much. The staff did their upmost to please us. We felt pampered and enjoyed the lovely atmosphere. We were very sorry to leave and would have liked to stay longer!
The Fateh Bagh in Ranakpur”
The hotel is well maintained and the decor is lovely, a beautiful open courtyard for evening drinks and a roof terrace to enjoy the sunset and the starry nights. The food was good.We never tried any of the western options but the Indian food was delicious. It was very quiet and peaceful there, there were just a few guests although a large group was arriving the day after we left. The location is not ideal,a shame that its in not such a green area and its 4km to the Ranakpur temple but the road was quiet and we enjoyed the walk there and back,.During the hot months maybe not so pleasant.
Ranakpur is an incredible temple, simply one of the finest sacred sites in the world. And if you are going to visit here this hotel is adequate. One nite is all you need. It is a lovely property but as with other HRH properties, the staff is poorly trained and service is uneven. However, they are nice and hospitable and try hard.
