Great Service, Excellent Location”

Like most Miami hotels in the area, this is an older building which has been refurbished into a chic value hotel. The rooms are small-ish but functional. Some of the fixtures are in need of repair/replacement but nothing really bad. The staff was excellent, especially the daytime front desk who were more than helpful and immediately arranged repairs to the patio door which was slamming rather loudly by the door closer - our room was right next to it and there is traffic to the patio in all hours of the night. Israel was also very helpful upon check-in and tried his very best to offset a misunderstanding in our booking request. The hotel has an outstanding location - everything South Beach is within walking distance. It is clean and has a youthful, funky vibe. Noise can be an issue, especially during spring break when students take over South Beach with little regard for common sense or courtesy but the staff did all they could to offset that. Excellent Location, Good value for your money”

Staff very friendly and helpful. Only three blocks away from beach and all the action of South Beach 😎. There are restaurants near hotel that don't charge South Beach prices. Pharmacy on corner, which is very convenient. Bank on corner. Room clean with refrigerator, iron and ironing board. Cons, ice machine outside, no microwave access after hours all minor to me because if all the good. I can get over those little inconveniences.

Not very standard hotel not far from the beach”

I chose this hotel because it was one of the most cheap in South beach area. The hotel is small and was looking pretty new inside. The room is OK, but I did not feel too comfortable there because of "fashion style" design, I actually prefer home style for sleeping. Another confusing thing in a first day was a loud music in a corridor just behind the room door. That assumed a fashion style, butbI did not enjoy that. Overall the hotel is situated in a very nice location, close to the beach, parking garages, travel /excursion agency , restaraunts and some brand shops. I believe young couples will like this hotel, it's more enterntainment style than home style. The hotel staff was performing bad for me, one spanish-speaking guy at receiption was obviously ignorant and always busy for his own affairs, not serving his customers right. he lost my booking where I extended the stay for 1 more day, and then threy issued a key for other guests who opened our room when we were there. not very nice. those guests then were denied to accomodate, cause the hotel was full. I also wouldn't recommend to use their valet parking. it took about 40 minutes to get our car back, despite their clames of 15 mins, and my car was dirty at the front. Fortunately there are many garages very close, and they are even cheaper than hotel's service. Overall the hotel is not too bad, just don't use their additional services.

Good hotel, good price”

We stayed at this hotel for one night only and were very satisfied indeed. The location is excellent for walking easily to Ocean Drive, the beach, and many restaurants. We were lucky enough to be booked on the ground floor (no elevators), but our room (120), although perfectly fine, seemed like an after thought when they renovated the space. It is at the end of the hall, passed the hallway doors, and situated in the stairwell (right next to the stairs and the emergency exit). The room itself was updated and the bathroom too. When we first got to out room the air conditioning unit wasn't on and hence the room was hot. We had to turn it on and go for lunch, it was fine when we returned. The water pressure in the shower was amazing. A lot of the reviews I had read before booking mentioned that their rooms were loud. I didn't have a problem during the night. I was woken up by the sound of the garbage truck picking up the trash from the dumpster. I'm guessing it was right outside our window since we were right at the back. We did, however, find the lighting dim. We noticed that in both the room and the bathroom, the lights on dim but seem to brighten a bit as time passes. I wouldn't recommend having the hotel store your bags if its avoidable and if you care about security. They hold them in the front lobby. I questioned the front desk girl when I checked in if that's what they did out of curiosity and she assured me that someone is always there and it wasn't an issue. But on many occasions as we came and went, we noticed the front desk vacant. They also have a giant bell to ring in such a case which says to me it happens often enough to warrant having a call bell. The hotel suited our needs perfectly and we would probably book there again if returning to the area. One more thing I wanted to mention, before we travelled, I had called the hotel to suggest some fine dining in the area. They only recommend the restaurants they are associated with. I.e. no pay, no reco.

typical boutique hotel”

This is a typical boutique hotel, which means small but cosy rooms. I asked a room far from the reception because other travellers had complained in their reviews about noise coming from the reception during the night. It worked for me. They gave me a room as far as possible from reception. It was small but quiet and clean. The staff was friendly. No complaint but I would not consider this a 4 star hotel. Certainly cheap. Good value for money.

Good, ok price in the heart of South Beach”

The positives were location, wireless internet, wonderful staff. The rooms were a bit small and there was no swimming pool, and beware of parking: valet parking !! And I got a ticket for double parking while running to reception to call the parking lot attendant to pick up the car. But that is the general situation in South Beach, and the hotel was wonderful in every other aspect.

Stylish hotel right in Historic Art Deco district”

We booked this hotel for three nights after we returned from a Caribbean cruise. The hotel is located very conveniently - right in Art Deco district, 5 min walk from the ocean beach, and within walking distance to main Art Deco attractions (15-20 min walk). When we checked in, we were asked for a $300 deposit per room. As for the rest - no surprises. Rooms looked renovated, both reception and rooms look very modern and stylish. Free Wi-Fi both in rooms and reception / patio area. Personnel friendly and ready to help. No breakfast offered, though you can get some breakfast vouchers at the reception for about 7 dollars (we did not).

Cheap hotel in a great area”

The hotel in nice, not new but clean. Rooom was big enough. Unfortunately there was a noisy machine on the next building, so I did not sleep well. Great location, 8min walking from south beach. Friendly staff. Simple breakfast :-(

Great location and awesome staff”

The staff here are the best, and the location is a 2 minute walk from the beach (South Beach). There is no swimming pool, and parking is a bit annoying (the lot is a short walk away) but the staff more than make up for any shortcomings and are simply the most friendly, amazing people. Very clean, as well.

Just like in my other review I really did like this hotel (besides the fact that the room didn’t get as cold as I would have liked cause I think the air conditioner didn’t work well or I wasn’t sure how to use it, the room temperate felt like it was 70 degrees, it was alright but I wanted it a little colder and the other room I had the AC was leaking water but I think it was because I did not set the AC correctly. But other than that I actually really like this hotel a lot, I’m booking this hotel again for my next trip, this hotel became like a home to me now, that’s how much I liked this hotel. And the bathroom was really nice! And the king size bed was super comfy, I really like this place a lot.

Had a great time and found staff helpful. Loved the Art Deco. Besides South Beach, Good places to Wine & Dine next door and very close to Hotel. WiFi excellent.

Evening staff”

I wanted to give this hotel a 5 star rating because my check in was great! The check in staff was so nice and accommodating! We checked in and immediately walked to the beach, the location is perfect for shopping and South Beach! My complaint was when I returned to the hotel and the lady that was on duty never answered the phone when we called down and only came out of a back room when we came to speak with her. WIFI did not work and we tried to get her to help and she only kept telling us that the WIFI on her phone worked fine. We never got connected to WIFI on our phone or laptop.

Very Beautiful Hotel”

the look and design of the hotel is impeccable. i liked the concierge and the luxurious feel of the hotel created by the elegance of the hotel furnishing (indoors and outdoors). the location was very convenient, only a few blocks away from the beach and main attractions. the hotel did not have a restaurant, so there was no food and beverage services available outside of the food and beverage services provided at nearby eateries. the room had a fully stocked refridgerator with over-priced sodas and snacks. good if you didn't feel like leaving the room. there is a convenient store not too far away to purchase drinks, etc. the front sitting area has very modern furnishings and crisp cool water to provide refreshment on scorching days. double suite was a little small. overall it was a great experience.

Great Location, Awesome Staff, Lots of Character”

This was a great hotel for our quick stopover in Miami on our way to see the in-laws in Illinois, from our home location in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The staff was great and the location was very nice.

Good hotel with a near location to the South beach”

stayed 5 nights with 2 friends in a shared room. room was double bed and clean although the beds were a bit narrow for 2 to share. roomsize was also a bit small. location very near the beach and parking hall located right next to it.

Very good”

Well there was a $100 deposit I wasn’t prepared to pay, there’s no parking at the hotel and you have to pay $20 a day. The room smelled like mildew so bad I could barely stand to be in it. The first night we stayed there I woke up with bites all over me. It was close to the beach and we were barely in the room so it did the job. The beds were super comfy as well.

Fashion hotel, great location.”

We chose a big room with the biggest bed than I have ever seen before, very funny experience in a fashion hotel. Comfortable and clean room. The included breackfast was low and simple, it wasn't enough.

Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Hotel decor was awesome. Very convenient location. Breakfast could have been better. Older hotel, so no elevator. Its was not the best thing if you have heavy luggage to be on 2nd floor. I would def stay again.
