Fantastic Family Accommodation ”
Cottages are very spacious and clean, great facilities and lovely staff. They have free DVD hire and you can also use the washing machine and dryer for free too which is fantastic. We have a gas heater in our cottage which has been fantastic during this current cold spell.

Clean and relaxing place”
a beautiful place with lots of green spaces and relaxing atmosphere. It's so big that you never feel crowded even if they are fully booked. Perfect for romantic getaways or for people with kids, they have indoor swimming pool, playground and play room and most importantly a big fire pit. Each house is equipped in a fireplace ❤. We were really impressed how clean the whole complex is and how friendly and professional staff are. Very convenient location. I would highly recommend it to anyone, our kids didn't want to go home! 😀

The place is very clean, comfortable, and calm. It very good for children, tennis, swimming pool, gate room and marshmallow bbq bring out a enjoyable holiday for my kids and make us want to come back again.

Very comparative price a lot of activities in the area, swimming pool, bbq area, kid play room, and especially the fire camp. the cottage is not far each other, so you have private time but nearby your group. Kitchen have all of stuff for your cooking. However, the bathroom is quite small, and not much facilities. but still too good for the price

Nice surprise”
The accommodation is really cozy. Very clean and comfortable. My just complaining is about pool temperature in a raining and cold weather. It was too cold for my kids. And also, could be perfect a breakfast service.

Mostly happy”
Great facilities for families. I do think for the cost of the accommodation per night it could be a little cleaner. Bird poo on the balcony when we got there so we cleaned it off before hanging over our pool towels. Dead bugs and cobwebs around. Well stocked kitchen equipment. Good for wanting to prepare meals. Oven in bbq pavilion doesn't work but bbq does. Over grown untidy plants around cabin.

Great little hideaway”
We stayed overnight at the Federation Gardens and Possums Hideaway. What a great little find. We checked in after 8pm so the staff left us our keys at reception. The porch light was on and the fire was already going when we got there so it was lovely and warm inside, which was great because it was freezing outside. The place was cosy, clean and well equipped. The kids loved the games room, tennis courts and cubby house. They left a bag of marshmallows for us to enjoy at their fire pit. Such a thoughtful gesture. Will definitely be coming back again when we go to the Blue Mountains.

A unique experience”
We are three adults from one family (one couple and a sister). We stayed in a cottage with two double beds. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the beds and sofas were comfortable. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The things that makes this lovely place special are its location, setting and wildlife. The cottages and yurts are self contained and self catering, and there is access to a heated indoor pool, BBQ, fire pit, games room with everything you can think of for kids. We didn't buy any food from the staff, although some BBQ and breakfast packs were available. Blackheath village is very close with plenty of places to eat. We loved birdwatching (king parrots, eastern spinebills, baby possums eating out of our hands, and the peace and quiet. The Blue Mountains are all around and many lookouts are an easy drive away. Would love to go back.

Nice and relaxing location ”
Federation Gardens is a very nice and relaxing location. Julie was absolutely wonderful, getting our lodge arrangements settled, checking us in, and also recommending places for dinner, catching the sunrise, etc. We were travelling as a large group of 11, staying in 2 lodges. The lodges were clean and spacious, and everything was in working order. The kitchen area was big so we did all our cooking in one kitchen to avoid dirtying up the kitchen in the other lodge. We didn't get to use the communal facilities in the area as we arrived later than planned and were soon headed out, but we did notice other families enjoying the swimming pool. There was no WiFi at the lodges, but the Internet addicts were happy enough to wander off to the Reception building (which isn’t too far away) for their fix. A checking-out checklist in the lodge indicates clearly what needs to be done before handing in the keys at Reception. Thanks for a lovely time at Federation Gardens, Julie! My wife and I stay in the Possums Hideaway cabins once or twice a year. Lovely romantic setting, always quiet, staff are fantastic. Fireplace is always stacked ready to go upon arrival.
