Good overall”
All is very good unless you're those that don't like to stress your legs too much. The place has got no elevators so climbing stairs might be an issue for some of you, it wasn't an issue for me. The beds were comfy. The pool was good. If your legs are stressed, worry not, there's a massage place just 5 steps away from the concierge. Overall, a great stay.

Great location, walking distance to grand palace, reclining budda temple, tons of great restaurants nearby. Only one thing I wish would be a room with private toilet, the room I booked was the last available hope next time I got the luck.

Oasis in the middle of concrete jungle”
this hotel is worth it! With its price, you have a comfortable bed, a spacious room, a swimming pool, a strategic location (near to some Wats), and a delicious breakfast. the only drawback is that there is no elevator, since we are staying on the 4th floor we are having a hard time climbing up and down. nevertheless, I can say that this hotel is really an oasis in the middle of concrete jungle.

Hotel’s location is perfect to visit Grand Palace, Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Wat Saket which are all in walking distance. Khaosan road is also only 1 km away. Rooms are specious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is more than enough. Very helpfull and kind staff.

Best of old Bangkok”
Excellent location, best part of Bangkok. Boutique hotel vibe, remodeled old school building. Excellent staff and ageing but still excellent facilities. My favourite spot in Bangkok.

very central!”
Of course there are cheaper and more luxurious Hotels in Bangkok, but the Feung Nakorn Balcony was very quiet, VERY central and had a nice vibe overall. I loved that we could just walk to the Temples and the palace in Old Town as well as Chinatown. A beautiful temple right across the street. Also the Alice Café next door had great coffe for a good price. Would stay there again!

All good”
Dinner at restaurant was very good. Hotel breakfast very good (all you can eat, nice variety). Free laundry machines. Snacks, bottled water, coffee, and tea provided in room. Tours and taxi can be booked via front desk at good prices. Location allowed walking to best tourist attractions. Quad family suite required walk up stairs to 4th floor. All 3 beds were in same room (based on pictures I thought beds would be split between the two rooms). My first booking with Agoda - worked fine.

New experience in Bangkok”
Location close to old town & riverside, suitable for backpackers who enjoys walking around neighborhood and discovering, for example, many cute cats. Breakfast during renovation is at Alice Cafe, providing good brunch including great latte. I enjoyed 6 nights here during my 5-day Thai massage course. Hotel under renovation so expect to the new pool soon.

Above average”
The guesthouse is in a good location. In the old part of the city, near important temples, museums, and parks. There are also ample food choices in the vicinity. However, the guesthouse itself is overpriced. The garden area was unkempt and badly in need of repair and a fresh paint job. There are several other better choices nearby.

Nice hotel with friendly staff & a great location”
Feung Nakorn balcony is an excellent option for the budget traveler. The rooms are basic, but all the necessary components for traveler comfort are there: A/C, a flatscreen tv, a room safe, showers with hot water, an armoire, a mini-fridge, etc. There is free wi-fi and the beds are incredibly comfortable (in a firm way). The hotel building itself is not beautiful, per se, but the courtyard full of lush greenery and the fountain is a nice oasis during the day and night. The bar area near the koi pond also feels very luxurious and the second floor Café in the building facing the street is a wonderful, air-conditioned oasis with Lavazza coffee drinks! My friend and I were also very happy with the food coming out of the kitchen; the prices were super-reasonable for hotel food and everything we ordered was really delicious (especially the soups!). The staff really went out of their way to provide great service, but in an unobtrusive way. For example, when we went to sit by the koi pond at night, the manager sent someone over to plug in a fan to cool us off right away! When we sat down for dinner, another staffer placed a citronella candle near our table to fend off bugs. The staff was also super-accommodating any requests that we had. One additional little quirk is that the shower does not have a “lip” to catch the water, although the shower curtain helps. This means that the water goes right onto the bathroom floor. However, there was not water drainage problem, but having a some way to contain the water from the shower would have been nice. Overall, though, I would highly recommend the Feung Nakorn balcony not only to budget travelers, but for those seeking a welcoming and lovely little oasis close to the major tourist attractions in Bangkok.

Feung Nakorn Balcony”
I loved Feung Nakorn Balcony. My Room was great looking & comfortable (and had enough space for my Yoga mat) It was the best room I had in my Thailand trip & the most comfortable Bed! The hotel was pretty; I loved it's courtyard garden & fish pond as well as the chairs & lounging area, which I took advantage to sit and read by when I was done site seeing for the day. The staff was young, professional and super helpful with my questions and almost everyone had perfect English. I will stay at Feung Nakorn Balcony again when I return to Bangkok and have already recommended it to fellow travelers before I even left Thailand! The location was great and close enough to all the sites that you could walk (they even have little walking maps at the desk) or a quick tuk tuk ride away. The Cafe has decent food as well and I ate there often, in fact next time I will get a breakfast included room option. If if had to find a flaw it would be that the rooms were not super sound proof so if you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs as you may hear other guests or city noise a bit, although to be honest I found the same issue with everywhere I stayed in Thailand.

delightful!”
this is a must stay in bangkok. near wat pho and palace, it's easy to get around to most tourist areas, and you're in the heart of a normal bangkok neighborhood. set back off the street, feung nakorn balcony is quiet, calm, and lovely. this hotel was much more than we expected for the price. you definitely get your money's worth and more. plus, it is absolutely spotless. the service is brilliant, too! the staff goes out of their way to help you with whatever you need. after looking at so many places online (our first time to bangkok), i can't believe our good fortune in landing at feung nakorn balcony.

Great place for your trip to Bangkok !”
We love our staying in Feung Nakorn Balcony. This place is very nice, quiet and clean ! The room is lovely with beautiful wall color. And air conditioner is very good, we need that in hot Bangkok ! Every day we got mineral water and snacks (please note that the snacks are free of charge !). The other thing we love is its location, near tourist attractions such like Grand Palace, Sleeping Buddha and Wat Arun. You can go there by walking (if you want to have sigh seeing), or by tuk tuk. There is morning market very close to hotel, every morning we love to go there to find interesting local food which are very delicious. There is also a very interesting small shop which sells ice cream on the alley to this hotel. Every day after hot tiring trip we stopped there to have some yummy ice cream. If you want to go to Siam Paragon or Pratunam, just go there by taxi meter which will only cost you around 70 Baht. So again, this hotel is in a very good location. We love it !

Perfect in many ways”
We stayed here from Christmas for three days and had a suite which was a treat for us. For me it was perfect, it was decorated in a lovely individual style and felt homely. It was large and comfy and I loved it. Location wise it is only a 10 minute walk to the main tourists streets of Koh San and Rambuttri (although not just tourists there). It was a great location, out of the craziness but near enough to visit, amongst local people and good, cheap local food, plus near all the major sights and temples in this area of Bangkok. It was not busy while we were there so that meant we did not meet people at the hotel, although it has a nice bar for doing so. It felt very peaceful there. I would not hesitate to recommend Feung Nakorn Balcony.

Lovely gem in Old City”
We had a wonderful stay at Feung Nakorn Balcony. Our triple room was spacious, charmingly decorated, and had a lovely view of the pond in the hotel courtyard. Everything was new and spotless-- and quite pretty! The owner was extremely friendly, and she and her staff were very helpful in planning itineraries, etc. As it is located in a quiet part of the Old City, many attractions are reachable only by cab. However, the palace, a number of wats, and Khao San Rd are all walking distance. The hotel is also located around the corner from the amazing restaurant Chote Chitr. I would definitely stay again!

Best way to see old town”
Feung Nakorn Balcony is well positioned in old town to see all the Wats and the Grand Palace, at the same time little bit away from Khao San Road to enjoy the quiet at night. The room was clean, bed was comfortable and wifi signal was strong. Old town can be a challenge with cabs and tuktuks at night, so it was a perfect place to stay for a few nights and enjoy the area before moving more centrally to enjoy the rest of Bangkok. The breakfast was a bit poor, so if you can book a room without the breakfast option, save some money and go out and grab something else.
