We get the cheap price for the last minute booking. Their room also nice & we also like their modern design .. the room clean &very confortable bed .. nearest to the Dataran Pahlawan & attraction place..

Just ok. Hard to find parking. Most of restaurant near this hotel was so expensive and so bad. U can find cheap and nice food around 20 min driving and worth to try. So i can say this hotel cheap but nothing speacial.

Location good, value of money, good service”

Friendly staff, Close to the Old Town”

Enjoyed our stay very much. The room was inviting, very clean, and well appointed. We were looking for something at a reasonable price and within walking distance of old Melaka. D'Hotel has an excellent fit. Would highly recommend it for mid-range traveler.

Short walk to the city”

My stay at D' Hotel was pleasant. I arrived quite late at night to check in and the staff was friendly and informative. Check in and out were smooth. The staff informed me that I needed a parking ticket for my car even for Saturday so I bought some over the counter. The size of the deluxe room is comfortable, comes with a king bed. Kettle and coffee are provided. The only downside to the hotel is that a rat squeezed its way under the door gap into my room on level 1 around 4 am . I hope the management can do something about this. I find the place to be clean and was surprised that they have pest problems. I had a good night sleep there.

nice hotel”

i like the hotel in general. it is about 1km walk to Jonkers (does feel further though esp if you have lots of shopping bags). the rooms is clean and big. only thing is i do like rooms with windows. but overall satisfactory.

EXCELLENT. the staff service, the location was good: no doubt the road was busy, just walk a little backwards and the traffic light is there. Jonker street was just less than 10 mins walk. Morning breakfast opposite the hotel was good. Easy access to sentral station with a reasonable price for taxi service. Room was good. THANK YOU SO MUCH for the upgrade. we will be definitely be there for your prompt service. overall we were definitely satisfied and we will be back!!!!

Pleasant ”

It was very good, about 10 minutes walk to the night market and 10 minutes cab to melaka sentral station. The hotel is very clean and the bedroom is comfortable. the bathroom is big and all facility is modern. The design is also very cool. I would highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.

" Rooms is nice, clean & romantic feelings " ”

Overall this hotel is budget hotel & Simple with completed. The only things less is a little bit noisy if you booking a room facing with the main road. ( Booked the room at the back ) Somemore, we can hear clearly the next room people chatting & also flashing if the toilet is beside with the room. I will come again if next vocation to Melaka !

Great Room ”

I love the room design, its very artistic. The service was very good. The receptionist are very welcome. They provide us taxi service and assist us even we have to check in late like around 3 in the morning because our travel was delayed. 2 of the personnel of D'Hotel were very accommodating. I will definitely recommend this hotel to stay.

Rather new hotel with great service”

Hotel room and toilet are clean with TV, aircon, toilet flush, sink and shower all working well. Room is rather small but beds and pillows are comfortable enough. Hotel service is efficient and good but took us more than 20mins to find hotel due to hotel's signboard not prominent enough. There are a few satay celup shops near hotel. It takes us 15mins to walk to Jonker street by cutting through a few lanes and streets, which are rather quiet and dark so has to be careful at night.

D'Hotel Melaka”

this is a very new hotel, in fact i booked before its opening. location of the hotel is very strategic; dim sum for breakfast, air-cond kopitiam for set lunch, satay celup for dinner, all these are just opposite the hotel! you can even go to jonker walk within walking distance! the hotel room was very impressive; modern style interior design, 32 inch lcd tv, big bath and wash room, king size bed, laminated floor, wifi....i can say rm88 nett is really worth for money. the only thing can be improved is the hotel don't have private parking; public parking along the roadside need rm5 parking fee for a day (ticket can be purchased at bandaraya kiosk just in front the hotel- for your info, melacca need to pay parking fee even on sat and sun) beside the parking issue, i will say this is a good hotel to stay, but the room charges should not over rm150, then it will be full house every day.

Regret ”

The window was broken. The water pipe easily broken if you do not use it extra cautiously. The bed was broken too. Suddenly no water apply due to maintenance. The blanket got smoke smell. Very unpleasant staying.

EVERY THING ARE SUCKS ABOUT THIS HOTEL !!!”

The lady who work as receptionist are so rude when i was questioning about why they give me single bed instead of double bed that i request when i make my booking in agoda. The lady telling me that i'm the one whose wrong, and there's impossible for them to make that arrangement. When i give her the prove that i really had request the bed type, she start get mad and don't want to talk to me anymore, she pass the call to another staff, and i can heard she complain to his staff in Malay language " Ini orang memang tak faham bahasa" (means ,this guy(me) does not understand the language at all). This make me so angry about the way she serve me.... And they don't provide the basic facilities such as Mineral water , dryer... It's a bad stay in experience in such kind of hotel. Please make a smart choice.

Very Dirty ,Rooms are smelly”

Bed Sheet Dirty Room are very smelly ,No fresh Air Air Cond is not working well Toilet door cannot close properly D Hotel use to be a very nice hotel last time,management should really upgrade hotel cleanliness and change all the pillow .

Dont Stay - You will regret”

The toilet is much bigger than the room. Room looks spacious and good in picture only. Plug not working and the price is more expensive than other good hotels in Malacca which is not worth for a hotel in shop lot, since we have no choice we choose this hotel. Dont stay..you will regret

I wont book for this hotel in future ”

First. No Parking Provided Second: The room were smelly and not clean as like the photo. (DO NOT BELIEVE THE PHOTO) Third: The front desk staff were rude and show us a face like we owe him lot money when we ask more question. So , i check in on 11am and i check out on 4pm, because i found a better hotel name The Blanc Boutique near to jonker street, i high recommend that hotel for those visit to malacca in future, that hotel was clean and the staff was nice. Conclusion For D HOtel, wORST & dIRTY.

Pros -location, 8 mins walking to jonker -parking, easy -cheap Cons -they didn't prepare a simple water for drinks and no water dispenser either. there's also no shop open nearby since it's CNY eve -room too small -the door knob & soap dispenser almost broken -aircond makes a weird sound but it was cold afterall -no lift. stairs is not so suitable for old people Stands out -friendly staff (kudos to him as he supposed to be celebrating CNY with family)

Bang for the buck”

The room, although small, is modernly designed. The place is clean, but the sheets looked a bit worn. There is water dispenser and cups on the ground floor only. Location is a 10-15min walk to Jonker Street, which is tad inconvenient as the streets are not pedestrian friendly. Overall, I had a satisfactory stay.
