When we were there, only one shower was working. The guy said they were doing some maintenance work. And the pressure was too low. But then, it was so noisy that we decided to leave at around mid night and check in to another place.

location is strategic near by Jonker Street, staff was friendly and willing to help out even though I came from far place to theirs that causes a late check-in needed in the midnight. He willing to wake up just by a call. Thanks a lot! :)

It's just only a few walks from Dutch Square and it's quite easy to find. It looks like an old building, with mostly wooden-floor. There's some part of the bathroom wall leaking. I was with one guy occupying the 16 bed dorm which some of the beds are broken. I woke up at 7 something, there was nobody at reception and the breakfast hasn't ready yet. I could find a better one with the same price.

This is the 2nd time I've booked this hostel. The first time, I've a good impression here, friendly staff and clean hostel. However, this time I was shocked to see the tremendous difference, which I dare not to stay alone here. The toilet is dirty, beds are dirty, and the staff is weird, like not welcoming guests, and the room mates are seems like friends of the staff. Seriously, not recommended for Female solo traveler.

Very dirty”

I stayed 2 nights. The hostel is very dirty. You can see the pillow like they haven't clean more than 2 years.. They also have bed bugs, I suffered more than weeks when I return to my home. Only good thing is the location. Location is just nearby Jonker street.

Smelly room. My body got more than 40 bites by bed bugs, terrible experience. Nothing best, I can get cheap room rate and better condition in malacca.
