It's a simply, clean hotel for an affordable price. Free amenities on the ground floor. Although, no free water. Location is in a quiet office area with easy access to convenient train lines. You can also take the train easily to Kyoto from here. I would definitely return.

If i could rate them out of 10, I’ll rate them 100/10. From location, staff, facilities and cleanliness. They usually dont do housekeeping everyday but still, when they clean, it was super neat and good. Their water is a plus, they’re using purified water, readily available for drinking, it made our skin really good. The staff we’re all accommodating and smiling, from check-in to checkout, they help us checking in their machine. They give amenities also. It’s a 3-5 minutes walk from the metro station, the surrounding area was really quiet unlike the busy areas in dotonbori. The linen smells nice too. Will definitely go back here when i visit osaka. My sister and I stayed here during our trip to Osaka. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the hotel was so close to train stations (Yodoyabashi and Kitahama) that can take and connect you to Osaka's popular tourist spots such as Dotonbori, Umeda, Universal Studios Japan, etc. The nearby train stations can also take you to Kyoto in 45 minutes and we made a day trip for it. Osaka Castle is just a 20-minute walk, too. The hotel is also close to a lot of convenient stores and restaurants. Rooms are a bit small but clean, and the hotel staff are all courteous and accommodating.

This hotel was very clean, location was great. But rooms were very small. They actually have us a connecting room, which was a surprise and we really appreciate that. There were not many places to eat around it, but it was nice and quiet after all day at Dotonbori.

A really good hotel that’s near the station (Sakaisuji Line - Kitahama Station) if you want somewhere not too loud and crowded, but still accessible and within the city center. The rooms were a bit small (suitable for travelers who will be only using the hotel to sleep, but the top-notch amenities make up for it. We really liked that they have coin laundry available (self-service or thru front desk), and the hotel is located near restaurants and kombinis within a 5-minute walking distance. The staff are also very courteous and accommodating, and checking in and out is a breeze. Will be recommending this hotel for future trips.

Managed to book 2 deluxe twin rooms, the largest room type of the hotel, for around USD*** per room a night. Plenty of space for laying the suitcases on the floor. Also toilet, bathroom and sink were separated. Very rare to find such spacious rooms in Osaka with such an affordable price. Staff were extremely helpful. I lost my key to the lock of my suitcase and the staff lent me some tools to break the lock. Location was very convenient. Can be accessible through Kitahama metro station or Yododabashi station which was one station away from Umeda. Got supermarkets, convenience stores and plenty of chain coffee shops nearby.

We really enjoyed our stay in Fresa Inn Kitahama. The room is clean and as what they described. I am lazy giving reviews but I really appreciated how their staff organized and took care the move of our luggages to our next hotel. She called our next hotel, the luggage service, prepared the forms. Looks like too much hassle for me if I do it on my own. So the staff in the lobby deserves all the praise. Pro: - quiet neighborhood - lots of free use amenities like slippers, hairswax, tea, razors (shaving), bath salts, etc. - Clean overal, only thing I found dirty was the sink overflow hole. It needs some attention. - staff is very friendly and helpful Con: - it was a bit warm inside the room. A/C fixed that problem but then it felt too hot when using the blankets. It was a constant struggle between using the blankets or not. - matrass needs flipping or a change, the middle was very worn out. - optional breakfast was quite good but could use some variations. Eating the same exact items every morning requires a lot of creativity to make it appetizing. Breakfast tips: -add corn/maize pieces into the soup, top of with some green onions. - definitely take some of the ketchup, some items have no taste at all. Looking at you, fried siu mai. -Potato salad and lettuce was our favorite for breakfast. It seems like vegetables are hard to find in Japanese restaurants. I would definitely come back to the same hotel when visiting Osaka again. 5-10min from 3 different Metro/train stations. There is a small restaurant / take out place at the corner of the street. Try out their Takoyaki!!! You can't miss it.

Whenever I travel to Japan solo, I almost always stay at Sotetsu hotels. As expected, the room was impeccably clean, modern, and surprisingly spacious. The staff were also incredibly kind and helpful, which always makes the stay even better. This particular Sotetsu is conveniently located near two metro stations—Yodoyabashi and Kitahama—making it easy to get around the city. What really surprised me, though, was how peaceful the area is despite the central location. I’d definitely stay here again.
