Hyvä”
They gave us a different room as they were overbooked. :(
You get what you paid for”
Used to be a residential house that is converted into an accommodation for rent. The rooms are well kept and clean. Very narrow staircase to the second floor. Location is great. Budget accommodation so don’t expect extravagant facilities. I only stayed to sleep during the night as I was attending a seminar so the place does not bother me much at all.
Would go back if I had no options”
The Jeepney House is at the bottom of my list. Facilities are "adequate" and no more. No hot water because the heater was unplugged. The faucet was loose from its base. Spiral staircase makes it difficult to carry luggage. Only one electrical outlet for my computer. Comfort room fumes exhaust out to the lobby. There is no place to lock my passport when I am away. Come on, give me a break. They could do better than this. On the other hand, the place is cute and the staff is very welcoming. It's quiet at night. But that is all fairly standard.
not what you booked”
book for private room and didnt have any. put me in dormitory instead. the picture are fake because no private room at all.
A1 staff. clean and friendly”
beautiful staff to help with your stay. thanks Maricel and Joelle. they made it an awesome stay. will be back
Rates look cheap but is not ”
We chose this because it was cheaper than most in the area, but the value for your money was not there. Overall, the place was not that bad, but there are plenty in the area that are $2 more expensive, but gives you maximum value for your money.
Cheap accommodation in good location ”
We didn’t get the room we had booked for, the toilet and shower area is super small you can barely move and at 7am the reception played radio so loud it woke us up. It’s probably the most affordable accommodation in this area but might be worth paying a few extra dollars for more comfort.
Compfy Crash spot”
While working up the street from the hostel as a bartender in a busy bar on the same street, it was of great convenience to find this place and crash there between shifts on weekends especially. And the management would allow for super late/early check ins and are quite flexible when it comes to check outs based on travel timing. Recommend it to travelers both inter-city and international. Great, friendly politely helpful staff and value for money accommodation be it, single room or dorm bunk.
Great hostel”
They give you a towel, 2 pillows and even a cushion to cuddle at night. Good shower, I've been to hostels with really weak water pressure in Makati. Amazing price, good location downtown Makati. Staff were lovely, they even give you something to cover your bed so you can have some privacy. Air-conditioned and a fan room so it's cool. Comfy beds with power sockets. Only bad thing is it's not very sociable here, maybe it's just the time I went. You also don't get fined for leaving late or silly little shenanigans like other places in Makati, I was at another place and they really milk as much pesos as they can out of us travellers but this place super laid back and relaxed. Highly recommended.
Cozy, Good Value for the Peso, RECOMMEND”
This hostel is small and I like that. It has everything you need including a kitchen for guests. Very clean. Great staff. Watch out for two things. First, when I was there at least, the hot water heater in the second-floor comfort room did not work. I tried it for two days running and saw no improvement. Secondly. and more importantly, the staff lock the front gate with a padlock at night. This meant I could not go out for my morning run - a minor irritant at most. More importantly, it is a fire hazard. If the place were to catch on fire, there would literally be no way to escape the burning building. For this reason, I would not recommend others to stay here and I will not return.
Cute but not good ”
Room smelled moldy, bed was extremely uncomfortable, not clean enough, shower was half broken. Boy at the reception was very pleasant . We haven’t tried the pool but it seemed really nice! Tricycle to the main beach cost 100 pesos

Nice place for a short stay., Staff maintains a clean environment, but would've been best if facilities included more than 2 comfort rooms. Otherwise enjoyed my stay
Super quiet home in an otherwise lively weekend nightlife area!”
I fly to Metro Manila once monthly for work and can’t express how happy I am to have found this place... Originally booked 3 nights but stayed 2 weeks! Staying in Poblacion, Makati is super convenient for getting to/fro airport (9km, ~30 mins by Uber and around the metro)... it’s a safe residential area that’s becoming the go-to party district for expats, backpackers and ‘hip’ locals on weekends. Don Pedro street can be a raucous scene on Fri/Sat for example. But what I like most about Jeepney is the quietness it retains in the midst of all that action... If you’re like me, you wanna come home from the bars (or get away from the hustle and bustle) to a place where you can actually get a good night’s sleep and be met with smiley staff. ALRIGHTY, MY REVIEW FOR PERSNICKETY PEOPLE: VALUE: Air conditioning, fast Wifi, free towel, warm shower, thick blankets for the price of a 6-euro kebab... Considering fancy travelers are paying triple at big hostels nearby, this is defo a steal. FUN: If you’re looking to party or meet people, better go to the bars. Surprisingly, while other hostels in the area had more beds, they attracted many foreign retirees... This place is definitely ideal for a restful sleep and socializing at any of the nearby bars... FACILITIES: Nice warm shower. Pressure was dead on the first day (we’re talking tear drops here) but thankfully that seemed to be a one-off incident when others were in use. You’ll be fine. As other reviews indicate, the tiny toilet closet will require strategic yoga positions when rinsing the derrière. Um, AC is sufficient, bed was firm, pillows need replacement but sheets were nice and warm. Kitchen and fridge are free to use and look well equipped if you’re trying to save slash a fantastic chef. Buy your own drinking water. The private room for 13 euros is also a steal... enough space for sleeping or if you are a thunderous snorer. LOCATION: Take a 30-min/$5 Uber Pool from the airport, or if you’ve only a small knapsack, tr

It’s how I got around the metro, like going to/fro tourist sites like the historic Spanish Intramuros, Luneta Park and Binondo Chinatown. If you’re tempted to stay elsewh
Very nice people and safe around, you can walk around at night ”
Make sure the location in your google map is the right one.Because there r two jeepney houses in google map and the one locate at makati is the right one.At first google map navigate us to the wrong jeepney house near line one, that place is a mess and unsafe,we even witness a blackmail on the street committed by 3 teenagers to 2 teenage girls when we were inside the cab. When we arrived at the right place we found that we had booked for a wrong date for the room, but the host said we can free cancel and book another room instead because the walk in price is much higher. They are very considerable for the costumers.Philippino there are all very kind. And the near by is safe to walk around.makati is full of bar and red district and mall at night .but you can also find some quite place to have street food and enjoy delicious pastry in the morning.
Very Poor facilities.”
No hot shower. Very tiny space between the edge of the toilet and the door (10 inches or less). Very poor wifi. I expected better especially after paying for a privat room, which by the way wasn't private at all! It had four bunk beds -- very opposite to what was advertised on this website.
Perfect”
Very nice location for this cosy guesthouse. If you go there you will also have the chance to meet nice people working who will help you!
felt like home!”
i stayed there twice and the price was so cheap but nice service. staff was so friendly and the guests i met were sooooo nice! a cat named was so so cute too! :)
Great Value”
Good location, nice staff.
Highly recommended to all of budget travellers”
Cozy, clean hostel run by the friendly staff located in the makati city center coming with reasonable prices. The longer staying guest Archie is a nice man to talk to. I can't find anything I don't like about the jeepney. I'll definitely stay again if visiting manila.
