Comfortable bed. I had a good night sleep. The staff (forgot to ask her name) waited for us (I think) because we arrived late. Didn't have any problem with bathroom probably because I wake up early and everyone else are still sleep. :D

the staff so kind i arrive early in the morning and the reception open on 9 am and my room not prepared yet, so they kindly offer me breakfast and let me take shower.. i will come again when i travel to singapore again...dan untuk makluman tandas mereka campur lelaki perempuan jadi kene pandai-pandailah bila nak pergi mandi tu..jangan keluar kemban pulak :) tapi ok je bila nk mandi or memerut semua selesa..

It is in 2nd floor of that building, 1.5 KM from little India. As the room was free, they allowed to check in around 11:00am. We didn't had breakfast in the hotel, so no comments. This is the first time visit to Singapore, so not sure whether it was value for money.

Good for a short stay”

Basic hostel, no atmosphere, but clean and comfortable for a night. It's in a nice area of Singapore with good transport links. Late check in was a breeze, key left with our name. About $30 for a taxi from the airport (with night surcharge).

Pros - Near to MRT and foodcourts - Have free breakfast - Have TV and computer to use Cons - Old building and no lift - No free towels - Bed like those army camps, if you turn have noise and hard to go up - hard to sleep at nights due to many people snoring - no curtains for bed means no privacy - people don’t flush toilet, should put a signage to flush it - reception not so friendly - Shoe cabinet not under the view of camera

This is my first time trying the dorm and it actually quite scary. Not to say the hotel wasn't safe, but I felt been disturbed and annoyed during the late night. It's an 8 person dorm, and can't imagine people are still actively walk in and out even its 2 am midnight. My mum and I didn't have a great sleep but seem it's just for one night, I wouldn't have many complaints. At least they do provide some basic breakfasts to us before departure to cruise.

Bring your own earplug. You dorm mate might snore so loud. If your a coffee lover, feel free to have all coffees you want. No water problem. Heater for cold/warm bath. Bring your own towel or rent it there. They’re rates for recreational activities are much cheaper than on the place itself.

Convenient and easy hostel ruined by staff”

For a hostel, this place is decent. The location is close to a central MRT and walkable to numerous businesses and neighborhoods. The amenities (towel rental, etc) provided at an additional cheap rate is accomodating. Cleanliness is okay; restrooms are fine compared to other comments (but it always seems messy when it is a toilet and shower room combined since the floor is wet). The young lady that is the receptionist is very helpful and friendly. I'm giving three stars because on my last night I had a rude encounter with the owner: racist, nosey and annoying. He questioned why I am eating Asian food; when I told him I am part Asian (and that you don't need to be to eat a cuisine), he told me I don't "look Asian". Insulted, I didn't respond, then he decided to probe me again by asking where I am from. It is none of your business, and wouldn't matter to you anyway, as you don't seem to acknowledge that biracial people exist. So much for being from Singapore, a cultural hotpot.

I always stay here during my business trips to Singapore. Amazing accommodation with friendly staff, just 300 Meters from Lavender MRT and 100 Meter from bus stops on Lavender street. Quality food outlets nearby.

Value for money”

I've been in this hostel twice already. 2014 and just recently (January 20, 2019). During my first time, I really loved the facilities and enjoyed my stay. I still like the warmth of the hostel staff, but the facilities have been disappointing. The water flow from the shower is so slow and my skin had an allergic reaction to their body wash (I think when they refill the containers, they don't clean them). Until now my face has rashes and itch that I am still treating. The rooms were okay, it was clean, has proper lock system. You just get what you paid for. The breakfast was very good, they provide enough helpings of bread, cereals, fresh milk, coffee, jams, margarine and peanut butter. You can eat as much as you want. Overall, I still loved my stay.

NEAR MRT + VALUE FOR MONEY + NICE ROOM”

I was solo traveller when i visited this place, its really near with Lavender MRT, i used google maps to find this place. I was alone in that room for 6 persons, its clean, and enough for one night sleep. The bathroom also clean, they have hot water. They serve us a breakfast, bread, jam, tea, coffee. Nice one!! Definitely will coming back here, next time.

Had a great time at this hostel, very accessible to the MRT, roughly about 10 minutes walking distance max, which made moving about the city quite easy given that you can almost get anyway in Singapore using the MRT. Breakfast was free, consisting of bread, peanut butter, chocolate spread and jam among the many, bathrooms were also clean. A very enjoyable stay for a 1st timer in Singapore. Thanks again Traveller@SG, would definitely come again.

Due to unexpected circumstances, we have chose to book at this hotel the same day we have arrived at SG. Pros: Location is near the Lavender MRT Station. Each bed has two sockets so as a group we don’t have to decide whether who will charge their phones or power banks. The A/C is good, we have slept well. Breakfast is served with coffee and tea. It’s always bread and jam but it’s good for the price. Staff is also good. They allowed us to leave our baggage so we can roam around SG without baggages even if we have already checked out. Cons: Sometimes it’s hard to find a space in the bathroom since it’s shared by all the units per floor. The bathroom is not that clean. Overall it’s good. We’ll book again for sure.
