Location is very convenient for SMRT transports from and to Changi Airport, the fair is around SGD2. Many bus routes pass through Bencoolen St. for visitors to go to anywhere. Close to many eating places, some of them open 24 hours. Staff are friendly and helpful in attending to your needs. There were a lot of rain during our visit, new and good umbrellas are available on loan to guests. Room is clean and the air-conditioning is really cold despite Singapore hot weather, we had to set the temperature to a higher level for comfort. The electric portable water machine in the room for making hot and filtered cool water works very well for us to make drinks with the tea, coffee, sugar, creamer etc. provided by the hotel. We had one extra large, one large, one small luggage and two hand luggage, so they made the room appeared small for easy moving around. Hot and cold water at the shower are just too powerful shooting at me so need to turn it down a bit for comfort.

Professional service from hotel reception. Didn't expect their service to be top notched for a 4-star hotel. They replied to all my email queries within less than half a day. Room with nice street view. The room was clean with dispensing water. Located conveniently beside Bencoolen MRT station with less than 5 minutes walking distance to Bras Basah station. The chandelier in the lift made the hotel classy along with the nice polished marble flooring. Conveniently located near Bugis, Selegie, Dhoby Ghaut, National Museum, Fort Canning, City Hall, and SMU. A lot of food choices around Lazada building, Sunshine Plaza, Grid, Fortune Centre, Middle Road, NAFA, and Bugis. Will stay there again in future. If there is a 6 star option which I can select to rate their service, I would rate them with 6 stars due to their professional and prompt service.

We have just returned from staying 4 nights at V hotel Bencoolen, over Chinese new year. Firstly, the location of this hotel is fantastic. You are right above Bencoolen MRT, and can access the stairs/slope to the station just turning right out of the hotel. Lots of great areas in walking distance- Orchard Rd, bugis junction, little india. Also amazing coffee shop across the road for your morning coffee! The room was small, 14sqm..however pretty normal for singapore. We made it work with a 5 year old and baby! The hotel was very clean, with towels refreshed daily. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Nice pool on 3rd floor and workout area. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Check in/out was very quick and simple, they offered to keep our bags for the day as we had a late flight. We also had use of the pool shower before heading back to the airport.

Our stay at V Hotel was great. Despite the room being small which suits backpackers better, the room is thoughtfully put together and I love its simplicity. Everything in the room is clean and in good condition and we had a cosy stay in the hotel. Was surprised to get such a lovely cosy room at an affordable price. I love how the hotel is located literally opposite Bencoolen Mosque and there’s many shops and restaurants close by. The hotel staff are friendly too which we appreciate so much. The location of V Hotel Bencoolen is excellent - just a short walk to the MRT station, with nearby bus stops that give easy access to Orchard Road and City Hall. Getting around was very convenient. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were pleasantly surprised that we were allowed to check in early without any extra charge. Late check-out was also available for a minimal fee, which we really appreciated. One thing to note is that the room is on the smaller side. However, if you’re mostly out exploring the city and just need a comfortable place to sleep and rest in between activities, it works well. Overall, a good stay with great location and service.

V Hotel Bencoolen is good, honest hotel. We were always greeted by staff when entering the hotel, and in the mornings staff were there to hold the door open for you. The room is very small, but ultimately it served its purpose as a place to sleep and refresh well. One great feature of the rooms is that the plugs are universal plugs, negating the need for our travel plugs. The TV provided some basic hotel details and a selection of channels. Enough to keep you occupied at the start or end of the day. The water machine in the room was a bit tricky to use at first but once you get the hang of it it’s not too bad. The bathroom area is very small, but you’re able to shower and freshen up fine in there. The shower head is quite short, however. Thats fine for anyone under 6 feet, but if you’re a tall person you may need to take it off the clip and hose yourself while showering. Also, the toilet paper is the cheap, public toilet style sheets. I think toilet rolls would be better in the rooms. The views from the hotel was outstanding. A wonderful view of downtown. Not all rooms will have that, with some only offering internal views, so we were lucky with the view. The pool area is beautiful. The pool, while not overly deep at a flat 1.2m, does enable you to move around the pool freely while keeping your feet on the ground. While there is a washer/dryer by the pool, it’s coin operated, and from what I could see, there wasn’t a change machine around. There is, however, a laundromat on the next block with a change machine. The most disappointing thing we found was the quality of the clean sheets. While the room is serviced daily, and everything provided has been washed and cleaned, we did notice several stains, including blood, on some of the sheets and towels. Some of these items should be disposed of and replaced with new sheets and towels. The location. Location, location, location. The hotel is next door to Bencoolen MRT station on the downtown line. Coming in from Changi, it’s one of the first stations on the downtown loop the line goes through. This means if you are heading somewhere like Botanic Gardens, you’re best to walk about 10 minutes to Rochor station, which will skip 8 stations on the line. You’re also about a 10 minute walk to Dhoby Ghaut station, which provides access to the North-South, Circle and the North-East lines. The National Museum is about a 5 minute walk - I would highly recommend visiting. There are also a number of cheap places for breakfast nearby. The exception to this is Yuugo, which while immediately next door, is extremely expensive by Singapore Standards (around $20 for breakfast, compared to $6-$7 for many of the other locations nearby), and the service is best described as chaotic. There is also a Cheers next door for basic supplies. Overall, V Hotel Bencoolen is good, middle of the road hotel. If you want luxury and opulence, this place isn’t for you. If you want somewhere convenient to sleep, with the basics needed for a good hotel, this place is for you.

I stayed here 5-12 sept 2025. The room was compact but very clean. Shower worked well and toiletries were provided. I used the pool and it was well kept, the only point was the one toilet/shower room beside the pool was not great. A bit of attention is needed there. The pool terrace was lovely to sit on , loungers and tables and chairs are provided. Location is a bonus as next door to MRT station, great for getting around . Staff are very pleasant and after i mentioned in conversation that the bed was a bit firm for my taste,(creaky bones lol) housekeeping added a mattress topper which was really nice of them and it made a big difference . The hotel was quiet and peaceful as well. I would recommend a stay here .

I've booked this hotel countless of times, and it always makes everything perfect. The location is very convenient as it is just above DTL MRT and a few steps away from several bus stops. Located at the center area, you can easily travel to places by walking too. There are many restaurant places to choose from within the area too. The view is also very nice. The staff is always courteous and kind. They are ready to assist you in every way. The rooms are clean and the amenities are complete. I've made a lot of happy memories in SG and this place is definitely one I wouldn't forget.

It was a decent stay for a family of 3. Bed was comfortable and relatively clean. They have free water filter (though it was very slow to refill water, but better than nothing since buying bottled water is expensive). Our room was nice with big windows and aircon was working very well. They provide toiletries and change towels everyday. Some down side, it was small even the bathroom. So if you have big luggages it’s hard to find space to open it. We can hear people outside, we were just lucky that during our stay, guests were quiet so the noise was not a problem for us. Nevertheless, love the staff, the location is the best, and would recommend this place for solo or small family travelers.

I have been traveling to Singapore many times and staying in various areas (Chinatown, Geylang, Clarke Quay, etc.). I would say V Bencoolen offers the most convenient access to public transportation. It’s near everything. You could walk to tourist spots and feel safe. The room was not big, but it was okay for two women and two carry-on luggage. The room was spotless clean. The water pressure was good. There was a handheld bidet in the toilet. Also thanks to the front desk staff for letting me check in early and providing late check-out. I would stay here again next trip.

Had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The location was perfect for sightseeing and shopping, being just a short walk from the Bugis MRT station. 1stly we had a bad experience from a previous hotel. When we arrived here, the lady with fluffy eye lashes, was super cute and kind to let us check in early. The best part, we get a complimentary upgrade. I never felt so thankful with her. We were so annoyed with the previous hotel we stayed and decided to choose V hotel. We made a perfect choice. All the front desk are so professional and classy. I love them all. Superb service! The room is clean, perfect location!!

Can consider for one or two night stay, not really recommend for long stay. The room is a lot smaller compared to ibis, just a small walk way straight to your bed on right. One side of the twin bed is exactly opposite of the mirror, this is the point that I give a big minus. One thing bother me is the toilet smell, it smells like someone did not flush after use. Although I have ask the staff to check on it, but the smell still there, maybe it's the cleaner or something they use? Nonetheless it's very near to train and bus station. If you leave a Google review first they will let you check in earlier.

The location of this hotel is perfect as it’s directly on the Downtown Line (Bencoolen) and Circle Line (Bras Basah). Super convenient to get around and a good neighborhood for food and walking. Can walk to Fort Canning Park, National Museum, Bugis, etc. I’d also like to thank our cleaner, May, as she was very helpful and made sure our room on the 10th floor was cleaned every day. The hotel was lovely and would definitely stay here again.

Hotel is located in the heart of bencoolen. Short walk to Bugis and Orchard. MRT is literally less than 10 steps away. Although the best part of our stay was the housekeeping staff - May. Our room (located in 10th floor) was always very clean and she provided us with extra towels for the floor. We take cleanliness very seriously and we really appreciate the way she cleaned our room!

I love this hotel. Beside the hotel there's MRT station. And the vibes around the hotel very cool. You can just sitting in front of the hotel chill out and enjoy the vibes. The most coolest is, i arrived at 9AM just drop my luggage. But the reception allowed us to early check-in at 9AM, that's awesome so we can take rest for awhile and the room is clean. Next time i will stay at this hotel again.

We are a family of 5 (2 toddlers). We chose this hotel as it is very near to the MRT. There is also a bus stop with direct trip to the Changi Airport. There are many shops and hawkers in the area. We also attended the mass in a nearby Catholic Church. Aside from being close to Bencoolen station, it is also near the Bras Basah and Dhoby Ghaut MRT. The Staffs are friendly and the pool area is clean also. ♥️

I came to Singapore this trip with my family of 6 pax. We had our 3 rooms here. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean, well prepared with necessary items (small fridge, safe box, hangers, towels, shower gel, shampoo). The rooms are small as the same with other same range hotels in Singapore with this price. Very near to the MRT station and the neighborhood got a lot of things to explore

We enjoyed our stay here at V Hotel Bencoolen. The location was great. Its beside the mrt Bencoolen station so it was very convenient to go to different places. The staffs are very nice too, they even allowed us for an early check in and late check out. The room was clean and pleasant. My daughter really enjoyed the pool! The place is located in the city center, accessible to most tourist spots. The MRT station is a minute walk from the hotel. Staff are accommodating and very friendly. Room service also cleans daily, replaces towels and cleans the bathroom. Hotel is clean and comfortable, which is very much appreciated. Some feedback for improvement would be to add a bidet in the bathroom.

I had a good stay at V Hotel Bencoolen in Singapore. The location is perfect — the MRT is right outside the hotel, and it’s easy to walk to shops, food and attractions. The room was clean and comfortable, even though it was not very big. The staff were friendly and helpful, special thanks to Henry. We chose this hotel as it is very near the MRT. There is also a bus stop with direct trip to the Changi Airport. There are many shops and hawkers in the area. We also attended the mass in a nearby Catholic Church. Aside from being close to Bencoolen station, it is also near the Bras Basah and Dhoby Ghaut MRT. The Staffs are friendly and the pool area is clean also. ♥️

The room was adequately spacious for 2 people. The room was cleaned regularly by the cleaning staff. The hotel is right next to Bencoolen MRT. Even though we didn’t opt for breakfast the restaurant/cafe was next to hotel that served buffet breakfast and ala carte menu. We had ala-cart which was very tasty. All and all a very good experience. Would definitely stay again.

Love V Hotel Bencoolen. Staff are very nice. I did not need call the helpdesk because everything I needed was prepared and ready. Location is great and quiet. Very near bus stops and beside the MRT. Rooms are neat. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms including the provided towels are clean. Everything I needed in a hotel is available. The swimming pool is a great bonus!

Best location beside mrt, bus stop, nearby stores, museums - plus quiet at night yet vibrant at daytime. Very friendly staff especially manager Henry. Facilities and rooms are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful, if the room is available they will check you in right away, which is perfect for drop in and refresh yourself up. I ain’t sure the pillow is clean enough or not, because i had a bed bug bite on my face. Bathroom is clean. the room is pretty humid. Location is so good easily access from public transport. This hotel is now our go-to hotel. Right beside MRT, 2mins walk to bus station, food court very nearby, accessible to stores, groceries and restaurants. Towels and room are replaced and cleaned everyday. Best hotel so far in our travels in Singapore. Only issue I have is there is no exhaust fan inside bathroom, making the room humid even if bathroom door is closed. We will book again this hotel in our next SG travel.

Good value, room is relatively spacious compared to other city-center hotels in Singapore at this price range. 24/7 reception desk always ready to help. Literally a few steps away from Bencoolen MRT and Bras Basah MRT. Located in a somewhat quiet neighborhood so you can get your much needed rest after an adventurous day. Staff is helpful and receptive of feedbacks. Hotel has a decent swimming pool and a self-service laundry area (with fees). Rooms also have an electric filter/turbo kettle. A few things to note for an optimized experience at this hotel: - Housekeeping tidies up the room daily around 4~6PM so it's best to not be in the room around that time frame. Do specify if you want your sheets changed. - Amenities set does not have a haircomb. - Bedsheets will be changed every 03 days. - Check out time is 11AM. Hotel staff might use master key card to check on the room if they call 2-3 times and get no answer.

Rooms and clean and cozy. Good to have a garden view. Our room was small but it doesn't bother us. Location is awesome. So near train stations, bus stops, malls, attractions. A convenient water filter is available in each room. Water heater/pressure, Aircon, all in tiptop condition. Bed is comfortable. Slippers and fridge provided.

Stayed at V Hotel Bencoolen recently. The location is really good — close to the MRT and easy to get around. The room was okay and clean, no complaints there. But kind of surprised that they didn’t provide any bottled water in the room. For the price we pay, that’s something small but expected. Just made things a bit inconvenient. Upon arrival we were given room 8-30 i think, upon entering the room we checked the bathroom and there was no shower screen separating the toilet which was a surprise as the pictures showed the room type to have glass screen. We checked with the receptionist and apparently some do and some don't which was strange. Anyway the reception girl was very nice and she helped us change room which was nice. See below some pros and cons. Overall decent alright stay after the initial hiccup. Also in order to turn the lights on you need to switch on a master switch just as a fyi. Pros: -receptionist are very nice. -staff changed the bed sheets when i noticed stains on it in the new room given. -tissue box provided, however it felt like sand paper and only small sized tissues like half sized. -they have kettle but didn't touch it. -mini fridge provided. -room safe provided. -bed is comfortable towards firmer side. -pillow is fine. -bathroom is good, shower had a lot of hot water pressure and hot water. -shower gel they use smells divine. -bathroom sink is big and there is a bench to put your stuff on. -has swimming pool on lvl 3. -location is great right near bencoolen exit A. Bus stop nearby as well. Cheers is right next door as well. -wifi speed good around 30mbps. Cons: -lvl 8 corridor smelt funky like a stale musty smell. Lvl 7 corridor smelt a bit better and not so musty. -room 7-30 (has shower glass screen) had 4 stains on the bed sheet top which looked like blood or some other brown reddish stain and two other darker stains. -room size is 14 square metres however quite tight for 2 people with a lot of luggage, had to move bed to one side in order to have enough space to open luggage. -desk space is not big, quite small. -shower drain stunk but while you shower the smell of the shower gel is so good that you can't really smell the drain although on the 2nd day the shower drain didn't smell as bad. -do not provide hand soap or hand wash but you can

Honestly the best feature of this hotel is its proximity to the subway system, making travelling a breeze. The staff were also very nice and accommodating. I appreciated that they cleaned the room and left a power key while we were out for the day. Will come back if ever we go back to SG.

The hotel is conveniently located next to the metro station, which makes traveling very easy. The room is quite compact and the soundproofing could be improved, as I was sometimes disturbed by noise at night. Overall, the main advantage of this hotel is its excellent location.

Very convenient, next to the Bencoolen MRT & 2 bus stops with many bus service. Walking distance to Dhoby Ghaut MRT & walkable to Orchard Road. Lots of eateries down the road & walking distance to Bugis Street & surroundings too. Room is small but it’s very clean & bright.

Our room was clean and comfortable, cleaned daily. Staff were lovely, very cheerful and available. We took the MRT from the airport and loved that the hotel was only steps away from the station. It was so easy to walk from the location also, and had so many great meals.

Right outside Bencoolen MRT exit A. Near to Brash Basah mrt too. Cheers convenient store next to the hotel. Had a good shower, basic needs like body shampoo, toothbrush and room slippers are available. Toastbox is just few minutes walk away. There’s a food court at Lazada One building but we didn’t try. While the room is quite small it’s comfortable enough, overall recommend to stay here

We enjoyed our stay and had a very Merry Xmas only at V Hotel Bencoolen. First good impression - they allowed us to leave our bags while we went on an overnight trip to KL - kudos to them!!! We booked a studio room with a single bed on the attic and it was a very unique experience. It was our first time to book this kind of room with an attic and V Hotel offered this one of a kind experience for 3 adults with kid another plus point. They also have a very clean pool which we tried on Xmas day itself hehe. The only thing the walls are not sound proof so you could hear the other guests outside and they could hear you from inside when you’re talking and when you’re TV is on. Regardless of this we loved that were very near Cathedral of Good shepherd just 10 mins walk so we were able to celebrate an evening mass there. The hotel has the best location, convenient and affordable for a central area in SG!!! Ideal place for a quiet, short and cosy getaway with your beloved. Basic amenities are covered, with a clean bathroom and bed. There is also a water dispenser available. Check in was fast and staff were approachable. Good location with no lack of transportation if you want to head to the city for the night. Thank you for the experience!
