Very nice hotel. Excellent location for the NHM/Imperial College (I was at a conference). Very nice staff and breakfast was fine. Checked out a little late but no problem, and we could leave our stuff during day. Room was nice and big, with great view of NHM. Thankfully my work paid (otherwise rather expensive!).

We stayed in room 17 which was located just off a lift and small staircase. room was very noisy due to a gap u set the door into the room, could hear everything in the hall, squeeky staircase and lift operating. asked to move room at 11pm and the very nice gentlemen obliged and put us in a basement room which was much quieter, however cleaning staff in the cleaning cupboard outside woke us up in the morning again with the gaps under the door, talking loudly and shuffling through what they needed to get I asked what time breakfast was served and was told 7-11am. we arrived to avail of this at 10.40am and the lady in the breakfast room was in the process of clearing all items 20 minutes early so we didn't get to avail of our breakfast which was included

They should not have claimed to be 4 star hotel as it was more like a 2-3 Star & breakfast was the worst I’ve ever had.

Room 7 which were put in is right next to reception bar area and lift would not or recommend this room. The breakfast was applauding the waitress came up and offered us a cup of tea or coffee and that was that not telling us a word about breakfast so we presumed nothing cooked and we should help ourselves to the continental breakfast which looked dismal, cold boiled eggs a small tray of ham and cheese bread for toast and a few cereals it was the worst breakfast I have had. So with the coffee grinder going early in the morning and hearing it constantly in our room to the awful breakfast we would not recommend this hotel

Fantastic location. Well within walking distance of Gloucester Road tube station, bus stops and Kensington High Street is about 15-20 minutes' walk. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Bedroom and bathroom (shower) were absolutely fine and had everything we needed. Breakfast was continental style but there was enough on offer.

It is a very nice hotel. We got a very quiet room with an excellent view. The room and bathroom was very clean, but the downstairs toilet was dirty, which seemed strange. The breakfast is nothing special and the lady there could have been more friendly.

Cozy hotel in a convenient location. ”
Room was available for an early check in which was convenient after a very long flight. Located minutes away from the tube so travelling through London was easy. Room was on the small side, Not surprising for London! Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was good and included. Overall a decent stay but beware of the narrow staircase.

The hotel was near famous sites to visit and the metro. The only problem was with the electricity. I couldn't get a curling iron to heat up. We tried several outlets. Otherwise the facility was very nice.

This hotel is 40mins from Heathrow on the Picadilly Line, and close to all major attractions in London on the Circle Line - 2 tube stations within 5 minutes walk. Lovely area of London, good restaurants, coffee shops and pubs close by. We stayed in the basement in a very small room (No 3) and we would have preferred a bigger room (1 & 2 are very big), and upstairs would be better. Only there 1 night so not a problem. Very accomodating for early morning arrival. Nice continental breakfast in a lovely dining room.

Firstly this is not really a "boutique" hotel, just a converted kensington house. Rooms are clean and reasonably equipped but small - only room for one bedside unit!! Continental breakfast is basic but OK. Ideally placed for RAH and museums and also close to Gloucester Rd tube

We stayed five nights, and had a great time. It's a short walk to two tubes, and plenty of great places to eat. Tesco Express, and a Waitrose (grocery), are close by. Lots of bus, hop on hop off, cabs, or walk options. A great small hotel with great staff, small bar, and breakfast.

It didn't affect us, but it should be made aware to people when they book that there are 3rd and 4th floor rooms and these floors are only by stairs with no lifts, in case some people aren't able for so many stairs

The staff are extremely well trained and thoughtful. The atmosphere and hotel decor is refreshingly calm, quiet and tasteful. Super continental style breakfast choice, well presented and good quality. Elemis and Neal's Yard products a very thoughtful touch and bedding and towels high quality. Our room overlooking the museum was beautiful and hotel location excellent; a few minutes from the V&A and tube station. We will definitely return and thoroughly recommend!

With 5 deluxe rooms in the basement and at least 1 on the ground floor, you know that you are dealing with a "cute operator" . Reception is a hole in the wall in the corridor. The only positive was that my basement room was large with a large bed. The window was single glazed and road facing so there was a lot of noise . Towels were OK and shower had power but room safe was locked on arrival and bedroom furniture looked cheap. I am a regular visitor to London... unless they offer a very cheap rate I would best avoid.
