Hospitality at its best
The owner, size of the resort, location
We stayed at the Fiji Palms Hotel for two weeks and enjoyed our time very much! A big thanks to the owner Steve, who showed us the local hotspots and sometimes took us with him to the beach and to a wonderful waterfall. You can make nice trips from the resorts but also chill out and read by the pool. It was clean and it has hot showers. I don't think you can get a better hotel for that price!

Couldn't ask for more
Steve, the host, was the best. The secluded beach he takes you to.The 'you're my only guest' feeling you get
I really can't speak highly enough the Fiji Palms. Steve, the host, takes time to get to know you before suggesting activities for you. He makes you feel completely welcome and that you're the most important guest he has. Not bad for an Evertonian. The rooms are a good size and amenities great. The pool is lovely and the views are amazing to wake to. Steve took the time to make sure I had all I needed, and drove me places I would have never found myself. He is a fantastic host and really made my stay. Thank you, Steve!

Nice hotel
Very friendly owner, beautiful design
Far from beach, but very close to the sea. If you'll rent car it's perfect place. Owner very friendly abd attentive. What is important for me, he is from Britan, so, language is perfect. Everything is good, but beach is far.

great hosts but rooms need updating
make you feel you are their only guest.
Rooms not the best, but the stay was welcoming. The area is nice, but not near any sunbathing beach. can get you a good rate from the local taxi driver, who happened to be the cheapest. The food which was provided by the onsite restaurant was excellent. Make sure you ask for European hot curry... My mistake was I asked for Thai hot.... several beers later I began to feel my tongue. an excellent place if you want to see the sunrise. Mossies are a bit fierece so get the zappers and cream. The swimming pool was relaxing for pootling about. The pool table is always open and footy available. Overlook the rooming and enjoy the area, afterall you dont spend a lot of time in your room.

One bedroom bungalow is small but very nice
Outside pool, bar area, kayak rental, one of the owners is very nice
Luckily I was moved to one-bedroom seaside bungalow instead (no refund though), which was good. Definitely stay in one-bedroom seaside bungalow if you go there. The outside pool is very nice, they have beach chairs and rest area, sea breeze is very good – not so hot there. There is no beach, but you can hire a kayak to go nearby island – this is nice. Hotel bar area is good and the owner let me use their kitchen for cooking. The rooms have no TV, we shared a fridge with 5 rooms. Definitely not “the finest amenities“ as the adv says, but simple stay for few days – why not. The lady there is very cute and friendly also.

Simple accommodation with very good service
Steve, the owner, will make your stay at Phuket a very pleasant one.
We spent 3 night at Fiji Palms in January 2012. Steve gave us good tips for restaurants nearby and recommended places to visit at Phuket. You will definitely enjoy breakfasts, good coffee and Chang beer!
