The access from Cebu City is good, and there are plenty of restaurants in the hotel so we didn't have any trouble with meals 😊 The facilities are also very clean, and the view from the gym and pool was amazing! We will definitely use it again! I think it's perfect for Hokkaido.
A quick luxurious getaway ”
I was in Cebu for 4 days and decided to book my last day in Fili Hotel to try out the facilities. I was impressed with how clean the room is and their deluxe room is big for a solo traveler. Can be compared with other 5 star hotels in Manila. Had a great time and enjoyed my short stay. There is the casino and a small mall with luxury brands inside the property as well. They do have a food court for cheap eats. Their gym is open 24/7 and equipments are the best that you could ask for. The highlight of my stay was their breakfast buffet which serves Filipino, American, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese cuisine. They also so have a dessert and bread station as well as cold cuts and salads. The food taste great and service was quick and the staff were always all smiles. Few things I think can be improved would be first, the reception was a bit chaotic. They had 4-5 reception desks which takes a while for each guest to be checked in. Around 15-20 mins wait. There was a corded line but was confusing as it only serves one desk and other guests chose to stand near the other desks to skip the line. I hope it can be much more organized in the future. The swimming pool is quite small also given it's a 5-star hotel. I saw that they we're building something bigger but might take a while until it's completed. It was also around 1km from SM Seaside Mall but it was on the other side of the road. It's a bit difficult for tourist to go to especially if you don't have a car. I wish they had built a foot bridge so you can cross safely as the road beside the hotel was a highway and cars we're travelling very fast. The location was quite far away from the city proper so you'll need to take a cab in order to roam around. Overall I still recommend Fili hotel looking for an awesome stay in Cebu especially for families or solo traveler.
