Stay at First Hotel ”
Had a pleasant stay in the hotel. The hotel being in the city and in the main road, transportation with in the city was quite easy. Even for road crossing there is security to help every minute of the day. Very supportive staff in the front desk as well. I have stayed in the new block and it is very clean and quite good and value for money. Even though in the main road, The room had good noise protection. Breakfast had good options and overall it was a good experience

The good thing about this hotel is location. If you want to explore local life, stay here.. Good street food nearby, a lot of decent restaurant 5 mins walk away with cheap price. I had a good time here.

Close to the airport”
This hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport so is handy either when you are arriving or leaving. The room was fairly small but satisfactory for the price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The taxi back to the airport is included in the price.

Well-known hotel close to SGN airport”
Staff provided excellent service; rooms spacious and clean. The hotel has a long history and has an older antique or classical feel but has held up decently over the years. The hotel met our needs during our stay in HCM and the breakfast was ok, but per night stay is definitely on the pricier end as to be expected.

a good hotel choice if you need to stay nearby hcmc airport”
If you need to stay nearby airport, then this hotel is for you. Price is reasonable,facilities are ok and they normally accommodate late check out. They even provide free airport transfer but you need to make your request in the special request area upon booking. Breakfast buffet spread has reasonable choice except that the choices are the same every day.

We stayed for 1 night before a flight so location close to the airport was important to us. They have a free shuttle taxi to and from the airport which is great. It is not very close to the town though. It clearly used to be a fantastic hotel but is now more "faded glory". It is clean enough though and has the necessary facilities. Breakfast is poor quality and limited.

Basic hotel”
Ageing hotel in need of some renovations. Clean and tidy bedroom. Had to get staff assistance to turn on air-conditioning in the sub par gym (had to turn on power from the fuse box). Equipment was in poor on non working condition. Food for the breakfast buffet was on quite a low standard compared to other hotels at a similar price point. No one asked if I wanted a drink sitting in the lobby area when there for 15 minutes. The highlight was the car service offered to the airport. Stayed there for the location, just the staff management/customer experience let down as it's been rated as a four star hotel.

The pool was very poor condition. There was swimming class with teacher and a lot of screaming kids. The spa was outside the hotel and only for men.

Typical American breakfast with eggs, ham, bread, cereal, etc... Not the expected Vietnamese style Breakfast in this class of hotels. Bathtubs instead of shower stalls... too high to climb in. No view to anything... windows are just good for daylight. Rooms are too small. Safes are not bolted down.... what's the point? Tennis courts are not free for customer.

1) room very bad and weak WiFi signal, only 1 to 2 bar! 2) swimming pool at other building. Finding it odd. 3) Breakfast sulk! Food mostly with meats hardly any food for vegetarian. Bread, scramble eggs and congee. Come on..why not fried rice and noodles without meat so both vegetarian and non vegetarian can eat. 4) Vegetables were so cold also never make warm before bringing out. 5) Fruits almost finished also never bother to replenish. 6) Shower water pressure was so low! How to bath properly??? 7) Most of the staffs were friendly and polite except a few in the restaurant always pulling long face as if we own them milions of dollars.
