Where to stay in Fisherman's Wharf
Fisherman's Wharf hotels & accommodations

We stayed for four nights in a King Room along with two other couples who were in two other rooms at the hotel. The location was perfect for what we needed - walking distance to Fisherman's Wharf, local transportation, grocery store (Safeway), and drug stores (Walgreens and CVS). Rooms were clean and well kept; just some wall dings that made it look a little worn out...

Located right in the heart of the Fisherman's Wharf area, the Wharf Inn is in the middle of tourist central and easy walking distance to many attractions. Rooms are very basic and have little in terms of amenities. We had a king bed, two armchairs, a desk and a TV, so we didn't spend much time in the room other than to sleep. Bathroom looked like it was recently reno...

It is very close to Fisherman's Wharf, and only a few blocks next to the Chinatown. It is very easy to find a bus station to get to the Union Square. I think it is the best place to choose!!! PS: You can find a store at Pier 39 to rent a bike, it is a good experience for you to ride across the Golden Bridge~

Close to very good and authentic food and people. The Saloon only a hundred metres up, good live music there and drinks at very reasonable prices. Rooms facing Columbus Street a bit noisy at weekend with strip club and other bars just downstairs. But that's the tradeoff for the location. Busy intersection. 15 minute walk to fisherman's wharf. Showers are a little letdo...

Small rooms part of its Victorian charm. Beautiful decor true to the era. Shared bathrooms not a problem as kept spotlessly clean. Warm towels available on heater rail. Friendly and helpful staff. Coffee and tea free all day. Facilities to print your boarding card. Earplugs and sound machine in room, not needed but a thoughtful gesture to aid a good night's rest. Well...

Great location and helpful staff, sorted a room booking issue effectively and provided an upgrade. Funky layout and decorating was fun, with a big games room area and courtyard for enjoying. Caution the onsite parking fees for the Fisherman's Wharf area are high ~$60++ per night so that was a gotcha for us. Busy location but waterfront so right next to the main tourist...
