Comfortable 1 night stay”

We stayed at the Fitzherbet Court Motel for one night in Hokitika on our way to the Glaciers. The motel was comfortable, spacious and there was a spa big enough for 2 people in the bathroom. We would come back here again.

Nice overview stay”

Big place with plenty of space to cook if you wanted to. Friendly staff, the 2 things I'll complain about is, ants in the kitchen, alright looks clean and the motel sign isnt obvious from the highway.

Very pleasant and comfortable stay. Clean room and facilities with plenty of space. Free internet. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great location, large rooms”

We were 4 adults and 1 toddler, the room was large and spacious. The hotel is on the main rd and a short drive to the restaurants. The manager suggests the places to go and offered drink vouchers. We travelled in winter, the room was warm and very clean.

Comfortable and enjoyable”

The room was big and very clean. The boss is staying there and therefore easy to get things sort out. Fast internet. Friendly boss.

Room was Good but bathroom was disappointing”

The room was comfortable and kitchenette was well equipped. However the taps in the kitchen area, wash basin and bathroom shower had no hot/cold mixer, only separate hot and cold taps dispensing hot and cold water from different taps. Hence you can't mix the water to get the temperature you need. The shower was in bad condition, water pressure was too low and the temperature was not high enough and no temperature control either. The spa bath was ok but the facility looked very old and poorly maintained. The stay was just for one night so it didn't bother us much but it was a bit overpriced for the facility compared to other motels in its class.

Pleasant surprises!!”

Dave was so assuring by telling us he would wait for us till 10pm when we called him that we were be checking in late due to delays on the journey. From the online availability, we booked a one bedroom unit for a family of five. Dave provided us with a 2 -room unit as he thought this will be more confortable for us! Was warmly touched by his thoughtfulness!! We slept so well after a long weary journey. Highly recommended for family travellers. Thanks so much Dave!!! Cheers Rowena

A good basic motel with everything you need. Kids loved the spa. Kitchen facilities good. Location was fine, but be aware of the 6.15am train!

Lot of space in the room and comfortable. Close to the traffic a bit noise and woke up in the night by that.

Very enjoyable nights stay with large clean room. However the Wifi was poor, would only connect to one item and was by coupon only instead of wireless broadband

Very easy to find and although it's on the main highway it was very quiet. Nice and clean, good facilities and everything in working order.
