Great Place, Great Staff, Value for money”
To all the great staff of FJ Manila Hotel, thank you very much and keep up the good work! They are very friendly, honest, and accommodating. They even went the extra mile of sending via courier the valuables we left at the hotel. Location is great, very approximate to all tourist spots. Their rooftop provides an excellent view of Mayon. Family room is very spacious.

Performs well above expectations”
The staff members are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are as advertised and triple sharing rooms where there are three single beds are also available. WiFi performs admirably well considering how slow the internet normally is in the Philippines. The coffee in particular really helps you get that kick to start your day right.
There are however a few relatively minor concerns:
1) There are no elevators in the building, so your luggage will have to be carried up the stairs. The staff are more than willing to help you out on this anyhow.
2) The beds have wheels. I didn't get to explore how to lock them in place, but the bed really can move fore and aft as you try to get on it or out of it. It's not much of a problem as you sleep, though.
3) TV images are quite grainy, but still watchable. Anyhow, if you're on a business trip, I doubt you'd have the time or energy to watch TV anyway.
At any rate, all things considered, the hotel performs well above expectations.

Best Hotel In Legazpi”
Accommodating staff, great rooms for the price, great location, cheap but amazing food at the cafe, plus they have bidets in the toilet. Would always book this place in Legazpi regardless of the type of travel I do.

The staff (from reception, security guards, concierge/cleaners), I mean everyone we have encountered are extremely friendly, helpful and polite. The room is clean and we really enjoyed our overnight stay. If I'll stay longer in Albay, I'll consider this place as it just in the highway and can easily hail a jeepney either going to Daraga, Albay, Legazpi or even to Cagsawa Ruins & Sumlang Lake. Very accessible.

Good for an overnight stay.”
Try to settle your bill and don't be surprised by the answer, "sorry, but our connections are off line".
The view from the roof terraces is good for a pic shot. You will not stay for one minute more, the management is more
interested in several aquariums than in some improvements in davor of its costomers.

Check-in was a bother, not because of the hotel, but because Agoda screwed it up. Selling us a Booking.com reservation, which stated standard room. While on Agoda we reserved deluxe rooms.
Not really the hotels fault, but the way the staff dealt with it was awkward.
Internet didn't work half the time. Again, the staff was less than helpful with this.
Location is fine, but along a busy road. So prepare for some noise. Not a real bother though, just a thing. Daraga, where the hotel is, is NOT in Legaspi city. It's not walking distance either. So for any proper mall visits or shopping, prepare for a 20-30 minute jeepney ride.
The rooms are roomy enough, well stocked with water, towels and toiletries. The view to Mt Mayon from the roof is nice, but the roof area is a dump and not very accomodating.
Will I go here again? Sure, for a overnight stay its perfectly fine.
