Great hotel located on the main street”
A hotel located across from the Bellagio hotel, it was difficult to enter due to entrance restrictions. They charged a separate parking fee, which was a bit inconvenient, but we were upgraded to a very spacious room, which was great since we arrived late. The staff were also friendly, and although the facilities were old, they were not bad.

great location in Las Vegas”
i was in Las Vegas for the first time for a large International builders show and picked this hotel at random. It has nice outdoor grounds so you don t feel crowded in a big city. Was less than 10 minutes from the Las vegas convention center, less that 10 minutes from Chinatown for some delicious Asian food. Has a small street of restaurants next to the hotel so you have more dining options than just the hotel. About 15 minutes from the airport by Taxi or Uber, Uber is a ride share company similar to Grab. Has great check in and check out procedures, luggage storage and onsite gambling. 5 minute walk to most of the big name venues, Bellagio, Ceasers palace, Harrahs etc. Would definitely go stay there again

Some staff members were unfriendly, but it's a great value to stay in the center of Las Vegas at this price.

Great room and location! ”
I loved staying at the Flamingo. I was very happy with my room. Very clean. The service was excellent and simple. The only downside is the smell of weed when taking the elevators. Other then that, everything was great!

Budget friendly ”
Love the location and the renovated rooms were basic but good. I was a little disappointed that checkin and out is automated, it makes it very difficult to ask questions or try to change anything. We wanted adjoining rooms with our sister and BIL, we did get them but it took a lot of effort from a very kind staff member, Ruth, who went out of her way to make sure we secured both rooms. It made the vacation much better but the ability to speak to someone felt like a privilege instead of a given. Other than that it was great

Well-priced hotel in the middle of The Strip”
Since the hotel is the oldest on The Strip, it doesn't offer that luxury appearance as many other Las Vegas hotels, but it is one of the cheapest and if you don't need to impress your companion, you get a nice, comfortable room with all you need. The rooms are very big and always very clean. You will get a lot of towels and used ones will be changed every day (if you want or not). As in many American hotels windows can't be opened, so air circulation is only possible through the AC. The only missing thing in the room is a fridge. Instead you can use ice from the vending machine located close to your room. The hotel supermarket on the ground floor charges $5 for a bottle of drinking water (not even mineral water). That is outrageous! The supermarket must know that nobody would buy drinks for that price; hence they even don't put a price label on the shelf. So leave The Strip eastwards and after a few hundred meters you'll find supermarkets with normal prices. The only supermarket on The Strip with reasonable prices is Walgreens (between Planet Hollywood and Harley Davidson / next to McDonald's). The hotel charges at least $14 for WLAN per day. For that price you can go to McDonald's, have a meal for 2 and use the complementary WLAN for free (but at McDonald's you have to tolerate young, bored people who like to turn up their music to the highest level).

Good Place for Seniors to Stay”
The check in process can be quite long if you arrive with everyone else. Timing is everything. Room was clean, bed comfortable, and view was nice. Did not have to wait long for elevators. Great breakfast at both the Tropical Breeze and Carlos&Charlies. Easy to walk to the Bellagio, Caesar's, and Venetian. Great price from Agoda made the trip one of the best ever. If you want a nice experience at reasonable price, then include Flamingo in your options. If you are looking for fancy lobby and over the top service, then look elsewhere. I would include Flamingo in my future visits to Las Vegas.

Great location at a great price”
+ location, location, location, right in the middle of the strip!! + real flamingos, other birds, and fish downstairs + clean sheets + cool leather couch + mini fridge + price (plus resort fee) still very affordable!! + nice staff + coffee maker in room + did I mention it’s right in the middle of the Las Vegas strip? + check in/out kiosks work and are way to use +- no microwave (but I didn’t need it) - you have to pay for parking - “grungy” elevators and halls - shower is questionnably clean.. ?? Or maybe just old/worn? - cigarette smell particularly potent

Typical Casino hotel on the strip”
One of the original casinos on the strip in Las Vegas but rooms have been modernised and amenities are generally up to date. All las vegas sites are easily accessible from the hotel including all the night time activities along the strip. Checking n can be a problem with long delays but we were fortunate to have an easy check in upon arrival rather than having to wait neil the normal 4pm check in. The buffet is good value in the hotel but it is worth joining the Rewards scheme to obtain the members discounted buffet cost.

great hotel in the heart of las vegas”
the flamingo is a busy and vibrant hotel in the heart of the las Vegas strip. the rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool area was fantastic and always very lively. the flamingo apparently has the best pool parties in Vegas, but also caters for families with a separate area for those wanting to stay away from the party scene. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would recommended requesting a room upgrade.

Still some life in a tired hotel”
i was in las vegas for a week attending a conference being held at caesar's palace. as caesar's was too expensive for my budget i opted for the flamingo just across the street. when i arrived for check-in (after 26 hours of travel from australia) i was dismayed to see a queue of over 100 people waiting to check-in/out and only 3 clerks attending. after a few minutes of waiting in line and drastic thoughts of forfeiting my pre-paid booking and going elsewhere, a staff member came by and referred we queuers to a bank of automatic check-in/out machines. to cut a long story short, i was checked-in and in my room 5 minutes later. the room was not as opulent as that enjoyed by my friends over at caesar's but it was spacious and best of all, quiet. the flamingo is centrally situated on the strip and has a mono-rail stop attached. i had breakfast a few times, one restaurant meal and drinks at the sin city bar and on each occasion encountered good quality, acceptable pricing and extremely friendly/helpful staff. if you are on a budget and want to be in the center of the action in las vegas then i would definitely recommend the flamingo.

There is activity round the clock”
Great and will be back the next time in Las Vegas. The internet charge is somewhat costly. The garden and flamingoes are fabulous and together with the fishes, I can relax there whole morning or afternoon. Not much luck with the slot machines though as unfamiliar with any of them. A set of guidelines and instructions will improve understanding of the games and make the fun more exciting and even obsessive.

Great iconic hotel”
We had to wait 45 minutes to check in as it was a very busy Friday night but the service was excellent. The Strip view room I had booked wasn't available so we were upgraded to a high roller view room which was a little disappointing for me, but the view was still incredible. The bathroom looked quite dated but the shower was fantastic, and bed was very comfortable. We rented a new release movie for $13 and the sound quality was awful. There are quite a few hidden charges when you stay anywhere in Vegas so it's something to be aware of - at the Flamingo we were charged a daily 'resort fee' of $28 US, and we had to call our hotel in LA which counts as long distance and were charged $24 US for a 3 minute call, but these things are the same at any hotel.

Great hotel with great location & room”
We really loved this hotel, located right in the strip,Las Vegas, where almost all of Las Vegas to offer is placed. About the their rooms are really pleasant, and we would like to stay there again sometimes, even thought the building is kinda old.

My oasis”
After having stayed at another hotel/casino for five nights, we decided to move the the Flamingo and honestly we should have stayed there for our whole trip. From the moment we walked into the lobby, the staff were ready to assist us and were so helpful when checking us in. We were given a brand new room and whilst it was a long walk from the elevator it was absolutely perfect. Room service is affordable and every staff member we came into contact with was brilliant. The only negative was that our toilet blocked. We called to have it unblocked but it was after midnight so no one came (or we were asleep by the time they did). Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable and making our Vegas adventure seem like less of a disaster than it was. We’ll be back.

Great price in the middle of the strip”
This was our first time in Vegas. I wanted a fancy room but took the advice of a friend and spent less on the room to allow more for fun. Smart! The room was standard. Nothing great but nothing terrible about it either. The hotel itself was nice. However, don’t expect dozens of flamingos. There were about 7. Also, watch out for the con artists at the elevator entrance. Hotel staff looking to have you sit through a timeshare presentation for a free dinner. Don’t do it. We had the brunch buffet once. It really didn’t have much breakfast food and the quality was so-so. Skip the $5 unlimited Bloody Mary they offer. It’s straight tomato juice. The hotel was perfectly set in the middle of the strip. There’s a nice “street” between the Flamingo and Linq that has a ton of shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Check out the happy hours too. We will stay at another hotel next time just to change it up, but Flamingo is a fair deal for the money. I never saw construction or the associated noises.
