      The hotel is clean and comfortable and only a few steps to the beautiful Sun Moon Lake. Service is superb. My friend is having birthday and the hotel offered a free birthday cake at midnight. All staff are friendly with smiles on their faces.

      Both adults and children enjoyed the facilities (water world, indoor playground, TV game, board games, table Soccer etc). Free bus tickets provided by the hotel for our trip back from ShueiShe Visitor Centre. Free in room drinks and fruits.

      We stayed two nights here. Overall the service is excellent. Staffs are very helpful. Rooms are very clean. The public pool is also clean and quiet (if you go before 3pm). We paid extra at the sky lounge for dinner and breakfast because that’s the only way to enjoy the view at the sky lounge. The food at the sky lounge is just ok. It’s more about quantity than quality. Everything is bland. They should have few great dishes instead of 20 mediocre dishes that taste like buffet downstairs. I would come back if the food is better quality and sky lounge is open during the day time that we can enjoy the cabanas with drinks and appetizers.

      I was a little disappointed at the gym. It’s not even qualified to be called a gym. There’s only 5 equipments with one out of order. It should be separated to a diff location than the activity room. We chose to pay extra to experience the tapponyaki that my friend recommended. I was disappointed again at the food they cook. The American Tappan is even better than the one in this hotel. The buffet quality is inconsistent. One morning I tasted a very dry rice noodle and the next morning with a very wet noodle. However, I love the salad bar. Great variety of diff vegetable and creativity to add in selection.

      Service was excellent. The lake view was amazing. Lots of facilities that we really enjoyed. The in-room onsen was a nice touch. However, you can see that the furniture is a little dated. Buffet breakfast and dinner had a relatively extensive spread but the quality left much to be desired.

      Expansive, but my money is well spent. The room is clean and roomy with the Japanese style built-in hot sprint tub. You will have a beautiful lake view from pretty much all th lakeside rooms. Your fun is not going to be downgraded even if you stay in a mountain side room because the gorgeous lake view is everyehere. The buffet needs improvement. I recommend the Chinese Restaurant (more like a fusion style) across from the buffet place for dinner. It offers the most elegant dinning experience I have ever had. An excellent team of young men and young women works so hard to serve its patrons. There are so many customer service personals, and they are eager to serve. Their professionalism is a rare found. BRAVO!

      The hotel is slightly worn along the edges but the cleanliness is good, just that its definitely not new. The view is absolutely gorgeous and the price of the room does really justify it. We stayed in a Japanese styled room with lake view. The room ambience and the lake view matched perfectly, making us feel like we were in Japan. The staff tried their very best to be accomodating and offered great service but the hotel was very full, thus we had to line up for some time for the buffet dinner which was a little odd considering the extravagant price that we paid for. Nevertheless the hotel did their best, and they even had an excellent band performance.

      Lake view, spacious room w balcony, huge spread for breakfast and dinner buffet
      It was a good experience at Fleur de chine hotel. Staffs were friendly and helpful. View of lake is beautiful during the day esp during winter when is cold. The room is spacious w balcony. There is a hot tub with spring water in your own toilet too. There is a huge entertainment level for the whole family, games, gym, hot springs, hydro pools, sauna, lap pool, kids pool. For those who do not like hiking you can stay indoor and enjoy the facilities. The breakfast and dinner buffet spread is huge, lots of organic vegetables too. They provide once a day pickup from HSR Taichung at 2pm. You may arrange with hotel before you arrive. Drop off at HSR will be 12pm daily which takes around 50 mins to 1 hour ride.

      Superb service, magnificent lake view, and in room hot spring
      We travelled in a group of 4 and stayed in the lake view two queen bed room. The view of Sun Moon Lake from the room is magnificent. We used most of hotel facilities. I really enjoyed the Water World;the hydrotherapy pool and the hotspring. The price comes with the choice of dinner; Chinese or International. We selected International Buffet and it was good. The sky lounge is also nice. But all in all, what impressed us the most is the quality of service. The hotel staff is very helpfull.

      My second time to stay in this hotel after 2 years. Sustainability in great service and environment. Sumptuous breakfast and dinner. A great experience starting from the free shuttle service to and from the Taichung High speed railway station to the hotel that they provided. The spa pool is the place we spent most of the time in. Great fun for the whole family and quality service as usual.

      convenient shuttle bus service from Taichung downtown. Very convenient for tourist with excellent service. Room was large with fast internet connection. Easily accessible to all tourist attractions. The food of the japanese Tapanyaki restaurant is excellent and the cook is very nice to introduce the food for us. Highly recommend to friends!

      Loved everything about this hotel EXCEPT the swim cap requirement. Most 5-star resorts do not require this and although this is a cultural norm, it does not appeal to westerners at all. The staff were wonderful and hospitable. If you are there with kids and plan to use the game room, prepare to reserve the games. Some of the activities like the dress up area could have been replaced with my games since it seemed to be the biggest hit. The buffet was good and had a decent variety of food.
