shinagawa flexstay inn Feb 2015”
It was great, Hashimoto, one of our service reception was helpful, speaks good English, was very accommodative to our needs. They also provided a bag storage service upon checkout. Outside the inn, there's numerous convenient stores and wet market within walking distance. The nearest JR station is shinagawa station which is about 8mins walking distance. Standard room may be cramped, but it's good enough for 2 adults and 1 child (4 yrs old). I will definitely return to this flexstay in the future. Suggestion for improvement, flexstay should provide changing room and shower facility after checkout while guest is waiting for airport transfer.

Convenience on a budget. ”
Just wanna say that if you would like to travel on a budget to Tokyo. Please come and stay here. It's a crossover between a hotel and a homestay. No cleaning or room service but you get to cook your own meals, do your own laundry. Convenience stores are just a few steps away. Train station is less than 100m away. Shinagawa station is just on the next stop that will link you to all parts of Tokyo and Japan.

Location and Clean Hotel”
It's short distance from Kita Shinagawa Station and walking distance to Shinagawa Station. So access is convenience especially when you arrive late nite from Haneda. The room is clean but all amenities incl microwave are available. Coin-operated laundry at basement. They don't do the cleaning during your stay but you can exchange for towels as many as you like so it's fine for us. Suggest you try Tempura Uejima, a small restaurant on street behind the restaurant, authentic local restaurant.

Affordable, friendly staff and good location”
We were having hard time to find the hotel when arrived Shinagawa station from Haneda airport. Because the hotel is located 15 minutes walking distance from the train station. I suggest Agoda to indicate direction to hotel from the train station in the web. This will be very helpful to the traveler particularly English is not a common language used in Japan.

Spend one night.. hotel was very clean and big for a room in Tokyo. Hotel is a bit far from Main Shiganawa Station... It is no recommended to walk from there to hotel.. very far like 15-20min walks. Better to take a local train to 'Kita-shinagawa' station but do make sure you take the correct train "local" and not the express or rapid which don't stop at all station. You need to cross the train tack to find the hotel which is straight ahead... The location is very nice and quiet.. n there is a convenient store nearby. A few restaurant too but they don't have English menu. Room is equipped with all the facilities as mentioned.

This hotel is quite good. Near the Shinagawa station. You can take the Kita-shinagawa train with 140JPY to Shinagawa. The facilities in this hotel is good. However, they don't have cleanliness service during your living. Let considering when you want to stay longtime.

We only booked this place because we needed a place to stay before taking the train to Osaka. We landed in Tokyo at 8PM and we just need a room with basic features and very close to Shinagawa station. We loved the fact that it was close to a mini mart for late snacks.

Wrong location”
The staff were excellent but it was the wrong location for us. Shinagawa station must be among the busiest in Tokyo , it was a business area and the volume of people constantly heading to the subway was phenomenal. We were only there one night so it wasn't too bad . I wouldn't want to stay any longer though .

Friendly staff and good location”
We have to change line and move 1 station to reach the hotel (about 3min), it's next to Shinagawa station which is one of the most biggest station. There is convenience store next to the hotel. Actually this was the second time we stay in here, although our activities only come to drop luggage, sleep at late night, check out early in the morning. The staff are friendly. Don't expect spacious room. As long as the the room and toilet is clean, it's bearable.

It's a quiet little town that's 15mins walk from Shinagawa station. It's easy to walk from Kita-Shinagawa station to the hotel with heavy and luggage because there's a elevator at the station.

The hotel is around 10 minutes walk from JR Shinagawa station - i preferred walking from the exit that is connected to Atre. Will be great if there could be a map showing how to walk from there. Nearby a convenience store. Staff spoke fluent english and clear explanation.

Quite pricey but good”
I stayed here with my mother and she liked it. The kitchenette is the best thing, I think. I've always chosen guesthouses with common baths and shared kitchen or no kitchen at all for the past years but not this 2019. You can loan pots, pans, chopping board, knife, bowls and they can provide disposable chopsticks. There's free tea and you can heat your own hot water for drinking. There are nearby supermarkets and veggie and seafood shops. If only I eat meat, I would've cooked breakfast and dinner everyday. The private bathroom is also good but it's too small for tall people because it's quite narrow. The TV only shows Japanese channels and we rarely watched anything because. Wifi is good. You have to take out your own trash and used towels and sheets but you can always ask for fresh ones from the reception. I would stay again for my next solo travel if I can catch a good deal because they're quite pricey for single room.

The location is great for travellers who had a night flight. Just walk for about 4 minutes top from kitashinagawa station. The inn have cooking facilities and microwave easy for the muslim travellers to cook halal food. Will recommended for muslim.

1 train station from Shinagawa - 1 of the main interchange stations of the Yamanote line - & only 3 minutes' walk away from that. Bugbear - no cleaning / trash-clearing service provided + rooms were really small, though bearable.

This was my second time staying here so that it already a good sign. I like the hotel for its location and once again it did not disappoint. Despite it only having three stars the things included in one's room are very detailed and useful. The details elevate this hotel to a higher level.

location is just 1 mins away from Kitashinagawa subway line. Room is clean and all the toiletries was available in the room. They are well accommodated our requested to given us the room side by side as we travel with young kids. We definitely will be back again.

Convenient to/from Haneda airport, train station. but near a junction with rail ways on the way to hotel from station. My room has a small bathroom. It also have a small kitchen. The street is quite and nice, very Japanese and can easy find many small restaurants nearby with reasonable price. Happy with the time I stayed there
