The staff is fantastic. The hotel is great, especially for the price. Breakfast buffet is ok. This is the first hotel outside of the US where I have had to turn down the water pressure and temperature in the shower. Both are great but a bit more than I prefer. As mentioned in other reviews, the shower spills water onto the floor, I just placed a hand towel there to catch the water.

This is a great value hotel. The staff are wonderful and genuinely enjoy their visitors. The lady manager was incredibly helpful suggesting sights we might enjoy and helped us secure a reasonably priced ride at the end of our stay. Loved the pool and the underground parking.

Great Location”
The only real problem I had with The Nora Chaweng was the patchy internet service. The pool is not great, but is shady and clean. The loungers look great, but are incredibly uncomfortable. Staff were lovely, but there is a charge of 1200 Baht to take a "Guest" back to your room. So not for singles looking for fun....

We had bed bugs in the room. The hotel didn’t want to refund us for the last night… They wanted to change us room (at the same floor). The bed wasn’t clean. You can see the pictures that I post on Google maps. The only positive things is the location, very close to the night life of chaweng

Excellent Hotel”
The Nora Chaweng hotel is in the top five good hotels that we have stayed in the last seven years. The highlight of the hotel is the staff. From the front desk to the restaurant to house keeping, they were great. Spoke good English and went out of their way to help. Very professional while yet caring and warm. The room was good size, well designed and very comfortable. The only negative was the bath/shower. My wife has knee problems and it was hard for her to step into and out of the bath tub. Good selection of Thai and International food in the restaurant and good quality. Guests coming from the pool to the elevators no longer have to go through the restaurant; there is an outside walk way. The hotel is located right on the Chaweng beach shopping road. There are many restaurants located near the hotel. There is a tour office just outside of the hotel front door. The hotel will pick you up at the airport for a fee but you must make arrangements before arriving.

The best hotel in Chaweng !!!!”
Well, this is my second time in Samui and at Nora Chaweng. I'll surely come back to the same place because everything is smooth, well organized and over all there is a good and friendly service. The full staff make you feel at home and they are ready to help you in order to make your Holiday in Samui as good as possible.. The location is perfect because at the center of Chaweng and in the same time really quiet... I suggest Nora Chaweng to all tourists coming to Samui... Great!!!!

Very comfortable hotel off the beach”
Really enjoyed the Nora Chaweng. Recommended by another traveler as a good/solid stay for the right price in Chaweng and it was. It is not on the beach but across the main street which was fine. The beach is a 2 min walk - very close! And when you're "done" with it, you can escape back to the hotel and away from the action for a respite. Part of the Nora hotel chain, the room and amenities were very comfortable - plus the price offer (incl. breakfast) was worth it. If looking for outside pool, it is not for you. The pool is covered and quiet in the back. More of a relaxing escape than a gathering point for those in house.

We loved Nora Chaweng! Agoda says the hotel is only three stars, but it seems like it would at least be four. The decor is modern and clean whilst the location is right in the centre of Chaweng and close to the beach. The breakfasts were delicious, with their chef making eggs any way you'd like them. Nora Chaweng also offered cocktails and Pad Thai for 79 baht each outside their hotel! The pool was clean and modern with comfy chairs, the only problem was it was under cover, so it was hard to get a tan! The staff were also always friendly and happy to help us with any queries.

Nora Chaweng - Very Good and cheap hotel! ”
We stayed at Nora for 9 nights, and we very pleased with this hotel. The hotel is built in 2008, so everything is just nice and clean. The rooms are very nice. In the lobby there is one pc with free internet. The staff is very helpful and nice. The location of the hotel is on the mainstreet. But it is recommend to use a Scooter since it is in the start of the mainstreet considering that the mainstreet is very long. It is not fare from the beach either. If you are looking for a nice and clean hotel, his is it. We were very pleased. I will use Nora Chaweng again if I go to Koh Samui.

A Definite Keeper”
And now for the review... We arrived in Samui and had to stay one night as we could not ferry across to koh phangan due to the bad weather condition. We were able to book for this hotel at the airport desk at no additional surcharge. We got a great rate. We were placed in a standard room and this was just perfect. The next morning, the hotel packed us a box breakfast. Due to my debourchurous hangover i didnt quite get the food down. On our return to Koh Samui after the full moon party we returned to the same hotel for 5 nights. The hospitality at the front desk was great. Whenever we needed new towels they arrived in 2 minutes. breakfast at the hotel was above standard for this grade establishment the hotel is a beautiful westernised hotel which i would stay in again and again only hint is to try not get a room near the road. all in all a great stay and well recommended.

Only thing missing in being beachside”
For tailor, go to Moda Milan International Suits and see Rooney (nicest guy you'll meet). The shop is around five minutes walk towards Chaweng shopping precinct (Burger King etc.) on the left hand side of the road. Down that same side street, you will find internet cafe (1BHT/min) who are also able to do tour bookings - see Chicken (English translation for his real name!). Be sure to book yourself onto the Jungle Safari - though attempt to bargain them down. Originally 1,700BHT, I got for 1,500BHT and a mate was able to bargain another agent down to 1,100BHT! At the end of this side road is the Ark Bar - best eatery in Samui-a must try. Also, nearby on the other side of the road you will find Martin's Place - small, friendly & tasty eatery with Italian and Thai cuisine. The people of Samui rock! If you can be in Samui for the Full Moon Party, do it. But hit Koh Phangnan for the party itself. Bus/speedboat transfers between Samui and Koh Phangnan are easily arranged at around 600 Baht.

Clean and centrally located”
When we walked into Nora Chaweng Hotel, it was a lot nicer than we expected from the photos. The rooms are large and clean and we had a king size bed. It is centrally located right in the middle of Chaweng so restaurants and shopping are all nearby. This is not a beach-front hotel but the beach is very close, about a 5-10 minute walk. On our last day, we had to check out very early before breakfast started. We requested breakfast boxes to go and it was no problem.
