Best option in every aspects!”
I am visitor from Malaysia and basically think this hotel is so value for money, there reasons as below: 1. Good location - 7 mins walk from Midi Train Station and 2 mins walk from Metro and Trem stations 2. Good breakfast varieties 3. Clean and spacious room 4. Helpful staff 5. Safe I will never regret and definitely will be back to this hotel if i ever come back to Brussels
Great staff, great hotel, highly recommended”
Staff was helpful, room was great, bath tube was a remedy after long flight. Good location next to shops and some fastfoods, very close to midi train station, around 50euro by taxi to airport. Will go back and recommend for everybody.
We was there at the Christmas 2018. Nice and clean hotel. Our room was big enough because we booked for quadruple room. Breakfast very good. Rashida at kitchen very good and helpful, Dalia at reception very helpful and speak Russian and English. Very close to main attractions. Windows not close well that’s way room was little cold for us. And the man at reception very bad. Hi ignore us with stupid answer (I’m alone now and I can’t come, will bring heater later. But hi didn’t come.)
Inconvenient location, loud from outside and neighboring rooms”
Maybe I was not attentive, but I didn’t see pros except heater in the room in a rainy and cold Brussels. I had to stay only from 6 pm till 2 am, cause I had flight at 5:50 from Brussels airport and a couple of hours I couldn’t sleep and relax (neighbors were very loud and I heard them clearly, outside there were many noisy people shouting and laughing under my window, there were some people walking up and down the stairs outside and looking into my room through the window, it was horrible! I hardly found the place to have dinner cause everywhere were only Arab cafes and only men inside... Brussels disappointed me this time and accommodation too. Hope never come back there again
Is a city that is very scary, a lot of thieves, parking is not safe Tourist ‘car smashed and stolen something in the car. (Even if you don't have anything in your car, you will be hit by a glass.) Do not recommend anyone to visit again. Travel to other cities best There are a lot of homeless people who are very scared.
Near to city center ”
Located just 10 min walking distance from City center. Staff helped a lot. If you go with Car, there is a big issue of parking security. You have to park your car on your own risk. There is charged parking just in front of Hotel but is not very safe.
Bad experience ”
The Staff ware Very unfriendly , I ask for a ‘no-smoking ‘ room by the rthe room was a smoking room, but I still got a smoking room. WiFi doesn’t work at all. And the staff by the reception are all very cold.... So I guess, you can find another comfortable Hostel.
Great Location ”
The Floris Ustel Midi Hotel was perfect for our stay in Brussels. It was only a 7-minute walk from the train station (perfect for an early-morning flight). There was also an excellent, must-do brewery tour near by at the Cantillon Brewery (only 4 minutes away). The Grand Place/city center was about a 15-20 minute walk. The hotel was clean, had an updated lift, and breakfast was included!
Enjoyed our stay in Floris Ustel Midi”
We only spent two nights in this hotel but really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast is good in the morning, the room is clean, and the front desk was nice. The only problem is that our room was next to the elevator so it makes a lot of noise whenever it is being used that is a bit distracting especially when you are taking rest.
decent enough but not great”
The area isn't that great. Being a solo female travel it wasnt an ideal walk from the city. The hotel is okay. The rooms are spacious but not the least bit decorated - almost like they just dumped furniture in there. loads of better options closer to town.
Fine stay ”
Excellent stay. A little too many people decided to eat breakfast at the same time, so the kitchen had a hard time keeping track. Hate juices are more water than juice, but in total - for the money it was excellent.
Very nice stay in the hotel, it was easy for us to catch an early train to Amsterdam just by walking. There is also a metro very close by but we did not use because the grand palace and manneken piss is also walking distance. Restaurants and shops are easy to find nearby! Many of those are halal restaurants!!! The room is big and clean, toilet has a bathtub and quite spacious as well. Will definitely come back!
They can do more!”
1. Staff : I have previously read comments about the hotel staff not being friendly and i finally experienced it. The staff whose working on both 4th & 5th May's morning shift was so unfriendly. Even the day on my check in, i asked if i could check in earlier if the room is empty - he just answered NO without even checking. This hotel should take their customers' feedback seriously and improve if they want to "survive" in this business seriously! 2. Luggage room: I think hostel's luggage room are even safer than theirs! At least you need to approach the receptionist for a key. This hotel's luggage room is unlocked and not monitored. I once walked in (due to emergency) without asking the reception and no one stops me. This means, anyone could go in and just grab luggages away. Although this is at customers' own risk for putting luggage under the hotel's custody but i would expect hotel to at least show some care towards our belongings. 3. Cleanliness : Total disappointment - I've got at least 5 dead insects in my room when i went in and one of them was on my bed sheet. Given that my room was occupied prior to my check in (if the staff was right as mentioned above), i would have expect their cleaning team to be able to pick this up and clean them before the next guest checks in? Apparently not. 4. Toiletries : Towels given were with some stains. Don't feel safe using it. Overall, worth the stay if you're only looking for a place with strategic location. Monetary wise, it is cheap but not a pleasant stay. I've met some tourists who paid £4-5 extra but with much better service/ambience.
Comfortable and Pleasant”
The main reason for staying at this hotel was that it is very close to the Brussels South railroad station. For that purpose, it was excellent. It was clean, comfortable, and the staff were helpful. It had fast free Internet too. Breakfast was good. The only problem is parking, although we found a place on the street without too much trouble. Very good value for the money!
Good and friendly staff,Fist day night I came to hotel and Ann was at reception desk, I realized my charger was not suitable for charge for my cell phone I had charger but it is different from Europe slandered, I came from USA. She helped me to charged my cell phone so I was so happy...Overall hotel was good considering breakfast, cleanness, distance to bus and train station.
The hotel itself was nice and very accommodating. It had air conditioning and good WiFi. However, right outside the hotel are benches with homeless people sleeping all the time and getting into fights. Not advisable to walk to city center either. If the location was different this hotel would be amazing!
This hotel was in a dodgy part of town although close to the railway station, walking distance. It was a place to sleep and have a good shower but don't think I'd recommend it.
Smelly and mouldy, as the bathroom floods with no drainage. Convenient location and friendly reception staff.
Good value for money. Hotel is old. but neat and clean. Toilet is clean. Room furniture, lightings and interior need upgrade. staff is very good. And facilities are as stated in description.
really bad and hot”
advertisement said there have air-conditionings all of the room, but some rooms don't have air-conditionings so really really hot. Location isn't good. Not safety.
