Very attentive staff, clean, good customer service. We appreciate the arranged surprised birthday cake for my daughter. I thought it was just a cake and stuffed toy but they put a rose and candies too. Kudos to the Team.
Excellent accommodation and Family Friendly”
The staffs are very warm-hearted, thoughtful and considerate, we were able to check-in very early because they considered the necessity of our need to dozed-off with the kids and the elders. We were very thankful and touched.
The Honeymoon We Wanted- Quiet and Private”
We were lucky that we were able to book during a busy weekend. The service who picked us up at the port was still available even though we changed our arrival time. The place is huge and comfortable. The property is quiet and private which made the stay more worth while. The staff are friendly, polite, and very accommodating. They provide tour packages which is convenient for tourists to explore the island. We availed the countryside tour which both my husband and I enjoyed so much. There’s an available transportation(tricycle) at night which we hired going to Alona and back. Our room was beautiful! We got the room beside the infinity pool. The bathroom was cool, it felt like you’re in the forest taking a relaxing bath. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Flushing Meadows for our honeymoon. The great staff contributed so much of how comfortable we were staying at the resort. Thank you!!
More affordable with all the amenities that you need in a resort”
If you're looking for a quiet place to stay in panglao island, i would recommend this place. It has a lot of amenities like the infinity pool, kiddie pool, playground, tennis court, billiards, spa. You can also enjoy water activities for free like pedal boat and kayak. Sad that we didn't enjoy the sea though bec of big waves. The cons? It's in a secluded area that's why it's not crowded. Tricycle going to Bohol bee farm costs 150 max of 3pax. they also offer free one way van transfer to BQ mall in tagbilaran that has 1030am and 230pm schedule. wifi is a bit slow but who needs it when you're already tired with the activities :)
Beautiful garden and Christmas nativities display.”
Great staff, courteous, respectful, and ocean view in the pool and restaurant. However, hot water in the bathroom was turned off, I had to call 2 times about the cold shower. The maintenance person showed up, tested the water, but he already turned on the hot water.
Relaxing family time”
We enjoyed the accommodations in the off season. The food was good and the resort staff was helpful. The beach area is nice during low-tide. They have a wall to prevent the high tide waters from coming into the property...the result is that the "beach" is not really accessible during high-tide. Although there is a beach area above the wall, we like to go in an out of the water while playing. This was not really possible for the children during high-tide. Thankfully, low-tide fell during the morning hours, which meant we were able to enjoy the beach and calm water all morning, then have lunch, nap and go on to afternoon activities elsewhere. Our kids loved the dinosaur playground area. It was a simple, fun addition to their experience. We also did a little snorkeling while at the resort beach. It's not a full-on reef experience, but there is enough sea-life to make it interesting -- especially for our oldest child who is just learning to snorkel.
The place is very nice with friendly staff. It has many amenities that everyone will surely enjoy his/her stay. I was impressed when they called me on my mobile phone just to inform me of their complimentary airport transfer. It's a world-class quality resort.
Very nice Hotel”
After a little storm cut power and restaurant shut we were not bale to use sports bar as that is enclosed. They lost money as everybody went to their rooms for the night. Big servings of food so be careful not to over order. No transport and Hotel charged to much for cars. Cheaper to rent your own car. Hotel car car was 500p to city (10 mins)
nice and quiet hotel resort with private beach”
the room might need a little more lighting thought is quite a cosy room. they have ostrich farm and it not too far from the coco farm too. transportation a bit problem if you do not have own transport. they should provide motorbike rental or free usage for customers
I brought along my parents (both over 70), who enjoyed their stay in the resort, as I did. The staff were very helpful (especially to my mom who needed a little help negotiating elevated areas) and friendly. Requests were quickly attended to. I particularly liked the dinner set-up on the beach, complete with entertainment (e.g. band or acoustic guitar), during our first two nights. However, when the dinner was brought back to the bar / restaurant on our third night, the band played too loudly. They should have chosen more mellow songs on a much more intimate setting. The resort's P600-charge for a two-way trip to the nearby Bohol Bee Farm (10 minutes away) was a bit expensive, but I guess this is expected in a place where there are limited options for transportation. It's a good thing that Bohol Bee Farm is worth visiting. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay in the resort, and we enjoyed our day trip in the various sites (Chocolate Hills, Loboc River, Man-Made Forest, etc.) in Bohol.
I would recomend very highly to anybody, our stay there was a real pleasure, the staff were great and very helpful, the resort is very clean and the restaurant rates very highly in my opinion and the food of great variety
Too Expensive not worth the value for your money ”
Too Expensive not worth for your money, Rooms are old, not that clean, rather get a 5 star resort with same value for your money. Can’t swim at the beach, theres a bad smell. Breakfast for 4 days is all the same and too salty. Though the staff are nice but no proper coordination. Towels are old and not really clean.
The resort was very nice, although didn’t care for the layout of the bathroom. If you wanted to take a shower you had to stand in the bath and most of the bathroom would have big puddles of water. Also had a cockroach running around. I also felt the restaurant menu options were disappointing, a high percentage of the meals offered was designed and priced for 2 to 3 people. In other words if your partner wanted a different type of meal you could be ordering for 4 to 6 people even though there are only two people at the table. The breakfast was very nice and they gave plenty of options. Beach and pool were very clean and fun to use. The shuttle in to town was also a nice touch and made you feel less tide to the resort.
Nice place to stay”
The place is so nice and have the complete amenities. The front desk staff are very accomodating, but some female front desk staff are so snobbish. Hustle free in airport pick up and drop off, the driver (sir andres) is so nice and even drop us by to a souvenir shop. The breakfast is so delicious and have many choices to have. The wifi is so slow and sometimes i got disconnected and need to re-enter a new password. Maybe they need to improve their wifi for their guest and must be covered the whole resort.
Our experience at the resort would be very disappointing if it wasn't for the staff. They were amazing and trying their best all the time. The restaurant was accommodating my vegan diet very well. Don't expect variety though. The pool was good. The rooms are old. We chose to upgrade to a better room, fortunately available. Internet connection was not reliable and slow. TV channels were very few, no movie channels, therefore useless. When you stay a few days in a resort, watching a film comes handy. No hot water. A maintenance person had to check the room every time we needed hot water. Some of the facilities were not functional like the gym. The kids' playground was filthy due to weather conditions and very old. It was not allowed to bring food from outside. This rule needs flexibility especially for families with children because the resort doesn't provide some basic needs or the local fresh fruits.
Far too expensive for what it is”
I have never called reception so much in my life....we got infested with ants and had throw away all our young sons medicine, our air con broke and we had to move rooms, wifi shuts off every time your phone/iPad/computer sleeps so you need to re-enter the codes...every time. Advertise last spa factilities but never had any time available. Food very average. Playground unusable due to mosquito infested ponds. Way, way too expensive
The "gym facilities" need a lot of improvement. Gym equipment are not functional at all.
Not Bad at All!”
I'm satisfied but just the beach. You can't swim not unless its low tide.
Nice facilities, but would not recommend eating here”
Pros - they offer free activities such as padelboat and kayaking, there's a fitness room you can access, nice place to take photos around, the room we booked was big, pool was nice, beach front was ok Cons - food not nice and everything is expensive
Front desk staff were excellent in helping with questions”
I found the staff very helpful at Flushing Meadows Resort. The room style was older but the general atmosphere of the place and the gardens were immaculate. The beach was very nice. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and having the morning swim. The water certainly was cleaning in the morning during high tide. This is a good place for families with young children.
