The place is cute and the staff are very nice. It's 5 mins walking from tsurugaoka station and 3 stations away from Tennoji. If you want a great location with a very peaceful place to stay, accessible via train then this is a go to place.

Rooms are really old but the hot shower and heater are perfectly fine. Wifi is slow though it’s free. Reception staff could not speak English well that makes it difficult to interact at times. Bottled water is not provided wherein it should be as it is a basic necessities in a room.! The lift is really really old that makes it unsafe to take. Despite all that. The hotel is very accessible to JR railway TSURUGAOKA station.

It's located near JR Tsurugaoka about 200 meters and 450 meters from subway Nishitanabe. The receptions are very kind. The room is cozy and clean. There are Lowson and 7-11 near Nishitanabe station exit 2,4.

Facility inside the room like tv, aircon, air heater quite old, but still functioning good. Nearby having cheaper sushi restaurant and few restaurant, but not convenient if you can't read simple japanese, as taking seat number using machine is in japanese language, and seat number calling also in japanese.

The facilities are all very old with stain on the table, the sink and the floor of the room. The cleaner might have cleaned it but it remains anyway.

Decided to stay here because it was cheap and just needed a place to stay before my flight the next morning. The place is close to a station which is good. But the room does not feel clean, the bathroom and elevator is very small. They also don’t provide any towels, soap, toothbrush, etc. you will need to buy it from them if you need it. The place smelled and we just didn’t feel comfortable because it was run down and not clean looking. Would have definitely payed a little more for a better place if we knew how bad the place was. It’s cheap, but doesn’t provide any basics like towels or soap which is absurd. The airport has these basics for free.

The hotel is poor, dirty, and didn’t provide you with any toilet amenities. The lift is old and the curtain doesn’t cover all the windows. The outsider can still glance inside the room. The facility is quite old, but the location is good. Near the station.

Nice and convenient stay in Osaka”
First thing first, this hotel changes a shiny white sheet for my bed every day. There are 7-11,Lawson and local supermarket in walking distance. Especially, the supermarket opens till 10pm and offers great fresh food at half price near closing time. Right at the JR station, there is a 7-11, never short of snacks and ice cream, and the prices are so cheap compared to Macau. Just 3 JR stops away, the 天王寺😊area is a must for less expensive and yet very local and tasty dining experience. Japanese people , as always, are so nice and polite, even we speak different languages. Staff in the hotel speak little English but it is perfectly all right. They were so willing to help and always carry smiles that warmed my heart , even when my body was so tired. I used Osaka as a base to visit 4 nearby cities on a day trip pattern. Being near the transport hub 天王寺，I found the time saving working very well for my packed trip. By the way, this hotel offers free bike rental, plz do not miss the local park ride. I am a keen cyclist and this park really is a joyful place day and night. The bike is useful tool for your local supermarket fun. The surrounding area of the hotel is very nice and quiet day and night. Small resturants & bars open till midnight. There are tennis school, baseball field, large stadium near by. Some of the local houses keep very fine Japanese garden. You may find it refreshing to walj around the local streets, looking at gardens and students biking to school in a very polite manner. I have been travelling around Japan since 1990s. My wife and I love this hotel. The price is very friendly , I would recommend this hotel for city explorers who love to mix in the local culture. Thanks again to the lady at frontdesk when I checked out late, your kindness and smile always bring me the Japanese culture I always enjoy the most. Will visit again soon!😁

Centre location & Value for Money”
I was staying 4 nights at For Leaves Inn Nagai. The room is small, but it is very clean and facilities well-equipped. Other than that, it is very near to Tsurugaoka station (around 100m walking distance) and other 2 train stations. There are free bicycle rental in the hotel. Besides that, there are many cafes nearby where you can have a try on Japanese food there. Staffs are nice and friendly. Would high recommended and would come back again in the future.

we choose For Leaves Inn due to the price, it's very cheap even consider it's not in the Osaka city center(still close to JR station, take half hour to the hot spot in Osaka) the building is very old, not very tidy, the elevator was horrible(when it reach the floor it shakes twice...) But WIFI signal is good in my room. they offer towel if you pay. Consider its price, I think if the budget is limited I still willing to stay in the future.

The room is small, but clean and bed is good for sleeping well. One thing I missed, I should have known Nishitanabe Station is closer than Nagai Station. If you see this, hope you refer it, when you get into the hotel.

A word of warning, there is another For Leaves relatively close by so make sure you are heading to the correct one (ensure the navigator can navigate). For Leaves is a cheap hotel but provides what you need for an adventure in the city, assuming you will be out and about most of the time. Public transport is close by and depending on persuasion, subway or train, you can get day passes and scoot around the city with ease.

Good for those on a tight budget and staying long”
No towel or toiletries provided, other than that, the room is actually quite big and comes with a kitchen sink. The price is ridiculously cheap, hotel is only 3 stations away from Tennoji Station, sufficiently near to central Osaka, good for long term stay.
