Great host & amazing view”
The property is high up in the mountain and quite far away from the city, offering you plenty of peace and quiet. Amazing mountain view from my room. Room was spacious and clean. Ramesh, the host, had kindly cooked up a delicious local-style chicken curry dinner for me as I was too tired to go into town for food. Great value for money and very friendly staff.

It is a nice place for a family to stay and enjoy. Building is well maintained and equipped with hot water, heaters, lights, microwave, etc.. Romesh and Prabhu are kind and giving an excellent service. Steep road to the place is the only reason for a 4 star to location but I must say the view is really good.

It was great”
The place was great. After a steep climb from the main road we were there. The surrounding was very calm & cold. We had heaters , Hot water , TV , Things to prepare a tea or coffee in our room during the stay. The staff was very friendly & ready to help us anytime. And the breakfast was large & nice with Fruits, Omelettes, Sausages & toasted bread. Don't think twice. Just book your room & feel the value for your money.

Comfortable room with helpful staff”
My friends and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The beds were comfy, the room and the bathroom were clean and obviously rather newly renovated. The staff were helpful and we really appreciated them bringing us tea and coffee while we hung around outside. The only downside is that it should be made very clear how far uphill the hotel is located and just how steep the incline it. It's definitely not a walk you'd want to do with luggage. Overall, it was a comfortable stay and we would recommend it.

Prepare for cold”
Great hospitality! But you are at Toppass. It was cold and misty. They provided extra blankets and a heater. It stormed all night. The drive up to the place seemed quite dangerous but our Sri Lankan driver had no trouble. . . so maybe it was just dangerous to the foreigners. They also served us tea as we arrived which helped warm us up. The breakfast was large and very nice with eggs, toast, fruit, tea, veggie curry, and tea and coffee. Thank you for a nice time👍

Great staff,well worth a stay”
Cool place with a great staff. Clinton and Prabu helped a lot. Please check out for the steep slope of the road. There are two road to this place and we had to use the 2nd road due to the load we had in the car. Check with Prabu and they will send someone to help if you are lost

Disappointing”
Booked through Agoda and drove all the way to the other end of the city only to be notified that they don't have any rooms available. All this after me calling to confirm the reservation an hour earlier. Also, there is better accommodation with bigger rooms and nicer views in Nuwaraeliya.

Room was clean, not that big but it was comfortable. The wifi was not really working well. The staff are very helpful and also nice to us. Their provided us with breakfast which was not in our booking and it was so great

Better stay with nice view. Property is located little away from centre and slightly difficult to find since no sign boards are available.Wouldn't be a problem if you have your own vehicle. Property is maintained neat & clean and staffs are well behaved.

De locatie is in toppass net iets buiten nuwara eliya. De locatie is wel heel mooi maar. We hebben prima geslapen maar vonden alles heel simpel en hadden het idee dat de badkamer en slaapruimte vochtig zijn en hierdoor muf. Helaas is dit denk ik de minste plek waar wij hebben verbleven in Sri Lanka. Wij verblijven met name in hostels en homestays dus hoge verwachtingen hebben we niet. Ook het dinner was simpel en te duur voor wat je krijgt.

11月的斯里兰卡正值雨季。晚上9点抵达酒店，灯光全灭，空无一人。 在风雨交加的夜晚，室内温度低至7-9度。 我意外发现了卫生间的窗户竟然不能关上，因为没有拉手！叫了工作人员来，他也无法关闭窗户，冷风飕飕往里吹！此外，酒店信息并未说明房间内没有空调！只有一个电油汀（电子取暖器）。 还没完！酒店信息内也没说明卫生间的热水设备并不是电热水器，而是太！阳！能！你没看错，洗脸和洗澡的热水全部来自太阳能，而水只能勉强算温水，根本不能洗澡。 头顶上方的灯，居然没有灯泡，工作人员微微一笑，无能为力。这是我住过的最失败的酒店。 In the introduction of the hotel there is no information says it’s using solar energy to supply the washing water. Actually it’s not suitable to even a quick shower. And no information says there is no air con in the room! Incredible experience, I regret so much for choosing this horrible place.
