friendly staff and Good location”
Rmb is common use in Macau with 1 to 1 exchange rate. Will loss few dollar is spend there. Luckily friendly staff willing to explain and show us the nearest money changer. Staff willing to spend her time and show us place to visit. She even chit chatting with us and introduce some traveller with us.
Lobby under renovation but rooms are new! ”
The rooms are not big, best if you can request for a room not facing the road if you mind the noise coming from the road. The lobby is undergoing renovations so it might seem very rundown but the room is newly revamped. The toilet is clean and spacious, basic toiletries provided. The location is great too! For the price we forked out, this is a good deal!
Functional hotel with all you need.”
the forson has a great location right across the street from the larger ponte 16. restaurants, convenience stores all nearby. the lobby is currently under renovation, but the rooms are newly renovated and so there is no better bargain.
nonoy”
got this because the rest of the hotels were out of the budget and i reserved a bit late. but still, it could have been a lot better. go here only if it's last resort and you're not planning to stay a long time inside the hotel.
Worst hotel ever”
This hotel is right in front of a very noisy street. Compared to the room price this was the worst hotel I ever booked. Like all other hotels this one was totally overpriced on new years eve and the day before. But it is really annoying if you have to pay 160 US$ per night for such a bad room. I booked a non smoking room and of course I got a terribly smoky one. And other rooms smell bad, even if not from smoke, and so does the lobby. And some rooms only have a tiny window to a dirty narrow space inside. As a hotel guest you are not welcome - the female receptionist doesnt look at you and wouldnt even say hello. Such an awful experience you can only get here.
minimal hotel”
A clean hotel but not much good apart from it being clean. Its not expensive to stay a night but for the same price you can certainly get a better place, so not good value. Unlikely to recommend this hotel to anyone after this stay.
Nice room”
I only stayed in the hotel for 1 night, and most of the time i was away for meetings. The lobby of the hotel was under construction and there was one guy sitting on the counter who could barely speak English, I went to the room, the room was nice with nice amenities.
Nice hotel in a nice location”
The hotel is ideally situated and easy to find. There's a nice large sign in front of it, and it is on San Ma Lo, which is of walking distance to Senado Square, the Grand Lisboa, and the local scene for a more unique experience. It is close to public bus stops and is not too far from the border gate. The hotel was very clean, and had all the necessary parts. The only negative was that the internet was down when I stayed, but that should be fixed soon. The beds are also quite firm - but whether that's a positive or negative is up to you.
small room”
We have spent one night at this hotel. Since most of our time were spent outside, we did not ask so much for this hotel. The room was too small for two persons to stay. Especially, if you have some luggages, you won't have any more space to walk around in the room.
Worth the price”
we were lucky enough to have booked this budget hotel. they were in the midst of total renovation. lobby might not be appealing as construction was going on hence dust was everywhere. our room was newly renovated hence it was considered acceptable for the price. it's within walking distance (mind you, 10mins walk) to senado square and other touristy spots. oh, the restaurant which served the famous double-layered steamed milk was just next door many picturesque buildings behind and one of the outlets of famous shop koi kei bakery was also behind this hotel. however it's the main disadvantage for those who come to this island sacredly for casinos as it is so far from any of them. the nearest also requires 20-30minutes walk that is the grand lisboa. good luck you all!
Nice hotel, close to everything interesting”
Very nice hotel, in the heart of the city, within wlaking distance from most interesting areas, clean, newly decorated room. Also as i was, it's the cheapest one in the city, but still a good choice for budget travellers.
small room and small room”
this room is very small and not comfort to me, and this condition is not clean. i will never bring my family to stay here. of course this hotel not suitable for family, it's too small. but the service quickly enough and kind. if i have much money i think i will looking for the other hotel. this hotel suitable for business only...maybe. just one selling points,it's near the center of city.
Old, but clean”
Old, but clean. Basically it is not so bad as some said. The room is alright, but the lobby is shocking to me. One thing is the staff cannot speak English at all. You have to guess from the hand language, though it is acceptable.
Newly renovated hotel rooms ”
Hotel entrance and lift are still under renovation and thus might give an odd impression upon check in. However the rooms are fully renovated and clean. Value for money given that the hotel is close the St Paul Ruins.
The worst hotel, Ladies avoid this place”
The hotel is under renovation and reception is in a very bad condition. It looks dirty and it is very smelly, with water dripping from the pipes running along the ceiling of the reception area... But the worst part of our stay there was witnessing men enter the lobby and choosing among scantily-clad women who immediately perk up when a man enters the place. Then they escort the man to a room. It was so awkward when one girl and her customer squeezed into the very small, smelly elevator with us. A friendly advice to travelers, especially females and families, just look for another place.
Very good”
good value and location
Good location, near sofitel shuttle bus”
Good location, staff should know how to speak english. bathroom needs renovation
Good location but small room, but size understand.”
Good location and cheap. But needs Internet and easy fresh drinking water.
Forson Hotel”
Staff can’t understand or speak english, somewhat kind of rude how the way she talks somehow the location is good because it is near on public bus transpo and walking distance to casinos, tourist spots, etc. I only recommend this hotel for solo or couple travellers. Good enough for a budget hotel for a stay in night only hotel.
Sadly TERRIBLE”
Don't expect too much for English speaking with the receptions. The way they talked was so rude. The tiny room with and old red dusty carpet. Small toilet and lift. To me, it's not a good experience lived there. I am disappointed.
